Psalm 22:9-10 But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts. I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.

6 W e e k O n e Life begins when the egg is fertilized by the sperm. The baby at this stage is a ball of about 100 cells. A few cells inside this ball will form the baby. The cells on the outside of the ball will form the placenta. This tiny human will also implant in the mother s uterus.

7 Baby at seven weeks. Psalm 139:13-16 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

8 Baby at seven weeks.

9 Week Two The baby is developing more everyday and now is 150 cells consisting of three layers: the endoderm, mesoderm and ectoderm. God has planned these layers to become the muscles, the bones, the circulatory system, urinary, reproductive system and nervous system and the epidermis (the outer layer of the skin.)

10 Baby at seven weeks. Isaiah 44:2 Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen. Isaiah 44:24 Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;

12 Week Three and Four Now at three weeks old the tiny baby's brain and spinal cord are starting to form as well as the thyroid gland. The heart is also forming and starts to circulate the blood. At week four the baby keeps growing and it's arms and legs are starting to grow, the heart also begins to beat.

13 Baby at eight weeks. Psalm 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Ecclesiastes 11:5 As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.

14 Baby at eight weeks.

15 Week Five It's week five and the little baby is about one third of an inch long. The eyes and ears are starting to develop and the mouth is now forming. The baby now has its own circulatory system with its own blood type.

16 Baby at eight weeks. Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Jeremiah 20:17 Because he slew me not from the womb; or that my mother might have been my grave, and her womb to be always great with me.

18 Week Six and Seven The sixth week the baby's skeleton is now developed and brain waves can be recorded, the baby also has reflexes and is about one half inch long. Now the seventh week, the baby is three quarters if an inch long,lungs are forming.

19 Baby at eleven weeks. Hosea 12:3 He took his brother by the heel in the womb, and by his strength he had power with God. Galatians 1:5 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace.

20 Baby at eleven weeks.

21 Week Eight and Nine Its been about two months now (eight weeks) and the baby is about one and a half inches long. All body systems are now present. Week nine comes and the baby is growing fast and is now two inches long. The baby squints, swallows, moves tongue and can make a fist.

22 Baby at twelve weeks. Luke 2:21 And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb. Luke 1:44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.

23 Baby at twelve weeks.

24 Week Ten and Eleven The tenth week and the baby is now three inches long. The baby's head is large at this stage because the brain is developing very fast. The baby is starting to gain a lot of muscle now. Week eleven comes and the baby is three and a half inches long. The baby has breathing movements, has fingernails and all body systems are working.

25 Baby at twelve weeks. Luke 1:41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: Luke 1:31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

26 Baby at twelve weeks.

27 Week Twelve Week twelve and the baby weighs one ounce and is four inches long. The baby can flex its arms, elbows, wrists and fingers. The baby can now move its eyebrows and move its lips and is beginning to use its facial muscles.

28 Baby at twelve weeks. Luke 1:15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb. Hosea 9:11 As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird, from the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception.

29 Baby at twelve weeks.

30 Weeks Thirteen Through Seventeen During these weeks the baby will grow to about five inches long and weigh about four ounces. The baby now has fingerprints and its sense of touch is developed. The baby now has eyelashes and eyebrows and finger and toenails are forming, the baby's taste buds are also developed. The baby can also grasp with its hands, swims, kicks, turns, and does somersaults.

31 Baby at twelve weeks. Isaiah 66:9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God. Isaiah 49:5 And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.

32 Baby at twelve weeks.

33 Weeks Eighteen Through Twenty-Two Baby is getting big now. During these weeks of growth the baby will grow to be eleven inches long and weigh up to one pound. Bone begins to replace cartilage, its vocal cords work and it can cry. The baby can clearly feel pain.

34 Baby three and a half months. Isaiah 49:1 Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. Isaiah 48:8 Yea, thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not; yea, from that time that thine ear was not opened: for I knew that thou wouldest deal very treacherously, and wast called a transgressor from the womb.

35 Baby three and a half months.

36 Weeks Twenty-Three Through Twenty-Six Baby keeps growing fast and during these weeks of growth will get up to fourteen inches long and weigh two pounds. Baby's pancreas is starting to function and lungs are almost fully developed and has hair. The baby's spine is also maturing. If the baby was born at this time it would have a ten to thirty-five percent chance of surviving.

37 Baby three and a half months. Psalm 58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. Psalm 110:3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

38 Baby three and a half months.

39 Weeks Twenty-Seven Through Thirty-One Now the baby is completely formed and continues to grow. The baby during this stage of growth will reach sixteen inches and weigh up to three pounds. The baby can also recognize voices from outside the mother's womb. Fat layers are now being added to the baby.

40 Baby three and a half months. Psalm 71:6 By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother's bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee. Job 31:18 For from my youth he was brought up with me, as with a father, and I have guided her from my mother's womb.

41 Baby three and a half months.

42 Weeks Thirty-Two Through Thirty-Six Baby will get up to five pounds during this time and grow to seventeen inches long. Hair, eyelashes and eyebrows are clearly seen. The baby's brain is very active. The baby's pupils can dilate or contract in response to light.

43 Baby three and a half months. Judges 16:17 That he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother's womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man. Job 3:11 Wherefore then hast thou brought me forth out of the womb? Oh that I had given up the ghost, and no eye had seen me!

44 Baby three and a half months.

45 Thirty-Seven Through Forty Weeks It's almost time for the baby to be born now. It is about eighteen inches long and weighs six to eight pounds. The baby puts weight on fast, about half an ounce per day. The baby can grasp things easily and prepares for delivery.

46 Baby four months. Judges 13:7 But he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death. Judges 13:5 For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.

47 Baby four months.

49 Baby four months. Job 10:8a Thine hands have made me and fashioned me together round about. Job 10:9a Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay.

52 Baby five months. Job 10:11 Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews. Job 10:12 Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit.

55 Baby five months. Job 33:4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. Psalm 95:6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.
