4 The Hawaiian Journal of History has been regularly published since The editors solicit manuscripts dealing with the history of Hawai'i, Polynesia, and the Pacific area. Manuscripts should be submitted by December 31 and are submitted at the sender's risk. Authors should contact the Editor in advance for a copy of the Journal's, "Suggestions for Contributors." The Hawaiian Journal of History expects that permission to reproduce material printed in it will be requested prior to such reproduction. This material may be protected by copyright law (Title 17, U.S. Code). Contributors to the Journal receive ten copies of their articles.
