Condolences: Dr. Leonard Hammer who passed away on March 22, Correspondence from Ninth District. New mandatory courses from NYS. Opioid Course. Dr. Riggins stated that there are multiple course that can be taken on line for free i.e American College of Physicians and University of Buffalo School of Pharmacy. Dr. Smith noted that only those with an active DEA license need to take the course. The course needs to be taken by July 1, Treasurer Dr. Richard Rosenbloom 1. exchange with Dr. Smith: No report 2. Venue charges for bartender. Contracts for this item need to be reviewed and negotiated at each venue. Most will waive the fee. 3. Ongoing issues with members not covering costs of missed meetings with reservations. These members have been billed for the full cost of the meal. 4. Science Fair contribution request will be $ and $25.00 for student awards for projects which are dental related. The science fair is April 1, 2017 at 9:30 AM at the Dutchess Communiry College.
