2 TEXAS STATE CONFERENCE Knights of Peter Claver, Ladies Auxiliary December 2013 Texas Clavers, We would like to extend to you the information for the 2014 Texas State Conference to be held in San Antonio, Texas, from May 2 May 4, As Catholics and Texas Clavers, we have a huge responsibility to be role models to society in showing love and kindness. Our mission is to be ever prayerful for unity, patience and love of each other. Our Patron Saint St. Peter Claver showed us how to accomplish our mission though his ministry. Prayerfully, as Texas Clavers, we work together for faith, hope, and love of self and others. As Knights and Ladies in the State of Texas, it is our charge to change the world through our commitment to our God, His Holy Church, and the people of the world. Let us pray carefully that through our meeting at our Annual Texas State Conference, the choices, the individuals we elect, and decisions we make, not only are for the betterment the members of this Noble Order, but will lead us in the right direction of changing the world. We pray that God will guide our minds and hearts to a successful conference. Lastly, we would like to thank all of you for your support of the Texas State Conference. On behalf of both the Knights and Ladies State Boards, we have truly enjoyed the wonderful experiences of the last two years. May God continue to bless you and keep your hearts filled with Faith, Hope, Love and Charity. May God watch over all of us during the conference and keep us safe as we conduct Claver business. We look forward to a wonderful Conference! Yours in Claverism, Gene A Phillips, Jr. TSC President, Knights Division Rose Ellis TSC President, Ladies Division
