1 PHONE: (972) Steve Brown March 6, November 10, 2010 Steve Brown, 54, a loving husband, father, son and friend, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November, 10, Steve was born on March 6, 1956 in Denison, Texas, the son of Dr. William Herbert Brown and Nalda Lowry Brown. Steve graduated from Denison High School in 1974 and Texas A&M University in 1978 with a degree in Civil Engineering and where he was a member of Chi Epsilon and Tau Beta Pi fraternities. He later earned his Masters Degree from The University of Texas at Arlington in 1988 where he was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma fraternity. Steve was employed with Jacobs Engineering. He married Wei (Lucy) Wu in Plano, Texas May 10, He is survived by his wife, Lucy; daughter Caitlyn; sons, Nash and Alexander Ryan, and their mother, Natalie, all of Plano; father, Dr. W.H. Brown of Denison; brother, Brian Brown of Houston; sister, Cissy Brown of Houston; brother, Alan Brown and his wife Mary, of Denison; nephew, Chris Brown and his wife Tressi, of Denison; and niece, Lindsay Willeford and her husband Craig, of Sherman. Steve is also survived by Lucy's mother, Lu Feng Yuan; Lucy's brother, Wu Qiu Jing and his wife Wang Lin, and their daughter Wu Yu Meng, all of Beijing, China. Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Nalda Lowry Brown. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, November 15, 2010, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Final resting place will be in Denison, Texas at Fairview Cemetery. Memorials To Steve's family: I worked with him at Chiang, Patel & Yerby and thought the world of him. He was always happy and kind, such a wonderful person. In fact on one of his and Lucy's trips to China I asked if he would mind bringing me something back for my daughter who loves anything asian. I was expecting

2 something picked up from the airport. Instead he brought me back very nice things. It meant alot to me that he took the time to do that while on vacation. You will be missed my friend! I relied on Steve and he always came through. He constantly talked about his family, Lucy, Caitlin, Nash and Ryan, he was a family man. After leaving TxDOT Steve helped us greatly on the DART project and most recently he helped on the METRO project in Houston.
