3 FIRSTTHOUGHT Friends, Something great is brewing in my spirit...not beer...but the inspiration of the Almighty by His Spirit... a fresh look that is so relevant to todays world. There is something about how you see yourself that either positions you to receive all that Father has for you or unfortunately sideline or delay. It s not really about the what to do but really about who & where you are that make things happen for you. Who and where you are are your realities. We will take the time to peep into the realm that is indeed made for us and see how to trully stay grounded in this realm and take up our sit together with Him in high places. A realm where all things are possible. No siting on the fence here...it s time to be all that He has made us to be! I can hear the Father yearning Come up hither. Welcome to this edition of Vessels of Glory Joash Magazine.

5 T he quest to enter into the fulness of who and what we believe we are made to be or have, has turned many into professional doers. Yes a major key to entering into what is made for us is doing what we needed to do. But hey, are we just doing or is our doing resting on the right foundation. Let s get very spiritual now, there are another set of believer that says I have prayed about it and that is why I am now out trying to do it. Yes amen, praying is a necessary part but is that all it takes? A friend said I read it in the Word and I am now out doing it. Umm, are we sure about that? It s ;like saying I have a promise from God and I am out doing it. All the above are quite essential, but if care is not taken, you can become a professional doer and just running all over the place trying to make something happen. There is a concept that has been taught for ages and which I strongly believe the church have to take a second look at its application... this I believe can change any life forever. I want to start from a scripture that some younger people have termed unfair and that s Matthew 5:27-28 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Some say, all I did was to commit the sin of lookery, I did not do anything, I only looked how on earth can I be guilty? Look again. Verse 27 says thou shalt not commit and verse 28 says hath committed. That means it is done. You have to be in the place before you try to get to the place! Imagine a scenario where angels are commissioned to go and pick up all adulterers, they will pick anyone who hath committed : this are all who has done it. And friends, in the realm where God operates, it doesn t matter where you have done it physically or not, the moment your mind cherishes, accept and agrees on it, you have done it. And all the consequences of doing it will begin to come into your life. Dan 10:12 Then said he [the angel] unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. Read it in The Message Bible "'Relax, Daniel,' he continued, 'don't be afraid. From the moment you decided to humble yourself to receive understanding, your prayer was heard, and I set out to come to you. Daniel s answer was released from the time he set his heart though he waited 21 days, the answer was released from day one, why? the realm of God will only respond to how your heart alignment and not just to your physical activities. Friends if you can be guilty just because you cherished, then you can be rewarded also simply because of your heart alignment. Trying to get there A lot of people are trying to get there. Trying to get there is good but that is not where you are suppose to be. You have to be there before you can receive the benefits of there. You have to be there in your heart, thoughts and imagination. Remember Mat 5:28, your internal alignment defines where you are and where you are determines what you will have. page 6 VESSELS OF GLORY MAGAZINE

6 Imagine you are about to use a satellite navigation system, there are 2 important information the equipment will need from you; where you are and where you want to go. when you put in the postcode of where you want to go, your SatNav will internally go there and then get the route that will enable you to get to that destination. If your SatNav cannot find your destination then it cannot take you there. Your Satnav have to be there before you can get there, simple? Your heart & mind is the home of your SatNav and all journey of life must be based on the fact that I am already there on the inside, and if you are already there then all the things that you need to get there will begin to come to you. Notice I say, come to you. Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee. Job 22:21 (Darby Translation) Reconcile thyself now with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee. Align yourself with His Word for your life and see it as done in you & for you BEFORE you start any actions. Don t go after it trying to get it, no not ever. Get it on the inside first, see yourself like it, feel it, taste it, rejoice in it and things will begin to happen around you to make this a physical reality in your life. You really don t have the time for trial and error, get it first on the inside and all you need to bring it to pass will begin to happen for you, thus making all your actions precise and targetted. God is looking at your thoughts and His power will carry them out for you. You need the foundation of aligning yourself with where God wants to take you and see it happening in your life right now before you take any step in getting there. You have to be in the place before you try to get to the place! Search the word of God concerning you and develop a picture of you being there, only then should you set out to the place. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Eph 3:20 Matthew 6:33...Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you (Message Bible) Steep your life in Godreality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don't worry about missing out. You'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met. Running around because of your physical realities is not how you are designed to function. Rule from the inside out by getting into God s reality for you now and you will have the peace and wisdom to make it your physical reality... True! VESSELS OF GLORY MAGAZINE 7

10 Gen 18:1 And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; Gen 18:2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, Gen 18:3 And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant: Gen 18:4 Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree: Gen 18:5 And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said. Gen 18:7 And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetch a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it. Gen 18:8 And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat. Gen 18:9 And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent. Gen 18:10 And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son... Gen 18:13 And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? Gen 18:14 Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. Gen 21:1 And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken. Gen 21:2 For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. A lot have been taught about the faith and patience of Abraham, and the story of Abraham is a great example of how to enter into the promise of the Father. The more we understand about this story, the better we would become as we walk into our highest desires and dreams. Notice in Genesis 21:2, Sarah conceived and gave birth at the set time that the Lord had spoken to him. How did Abraham received the set time? He entertained Angels. Recogni on Abraham was just sitting in a shade in front of his tent because of the heat and he saw three men passing by, but something drew him to these men, I believe this is not the first time he would see strangers also he maybe had developed the habit of kindness and love towards all men. But hey, something was special here, because he bowed himself to the ground [you don t just go bowing yourself to the ground especially when you have herds and servants]. He took care of their needs and all of a sudden in verse 13, the men are now being referred to as the LORD, no longer men but God who now gave him the set time for the manifestation of His promise. Though Abraham had been waiting for 24 years, this encounter is now giving him in 1 year what he has been expecting. Is there anything special about this? You sure bet yes. From Abram to Abraham Gen 17:4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. Gen 17:5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. Gen 17:11 And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you. In Genesis chapter 17, Abram s name was changed to Abraham and he started calling himself VESSELS OF GLORY MAGAZINE page 9

11 ... you have to be there before you are there or you will never be there. who he has been made, formerly he was waiting for the promise to happen but now he was kind of forced by God to align himself with his destination, by calling him and his wife a name that depicts who they are made NOT who they will be, but who they are already. In the natural they were barren, but in God s realm they are fathers and mothers of many nations and to get them from where they are to where they want to be, they have to begin to see themselves with the eyes of this promise and covenant. Their total alignment with this promise through their words, thoughts and acts of circumcision positioned them to go to the next level which is Divine Awareness & Recognition. Abraham was being drawn to those men that held the key to his manifestation because he was already aligned with his promise through his acceptance of the word of God concerning him and now totally convinced that he is who God say he is. Friends, if he never accepted that he is now an Abraham, the strangers would had passed him by leaving him waiting for the so called miracle. Ge ng a new car Let me use a common analogy, if you want to buy a car and after your research, you now settled for a brand let s say an Audi A6, the moment you fell in love with that car, something strange will begin to happen to you, you will begin to see that same car every time it passes by. You will begin to notice that car without your looking for it. All of a sudden, you will begin to recognise the sound of the horn, the colour, make and model everywhere you go. Why you may ask. There is a divine system that makes you aware of whatever you have called true to yourself. If all you notice around you are lack, sickness, poverty, unemployment, crime and shortage, it shows your internal reality and unfortunately that is only what will come to you. But if you hold as done the Word and Promises of God concerning you, then you would soon begin to get lucky. All of a sudden you are in contact with the right material, the right location and the right people. Your alignment of faith will begin to affect your interest and somehow those subtle and unconscious interests becomes the door that lead you into your desires. Inner picture It is extremely important for you to recognise if you see yourself as having what you desire or you see yourself as someone who will have what you desire. If you are see yourself as someone who will have it, then you are in the wrong place. Start with a simple prayer as stated in Ephesian 1:18 That the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, Pray that you will know what has been given to you/ what is yours. Get all the scriptures that tells you that you have it and use them to develop a clear picture of you being there NOW. Because you have to be there before you are there or you will never be there. Develop a different vocabulary; call yourself what you are name yourself in line with your destination. Get something physical that keeps reminding you of the covenant. Abraham had circumcision, God had a rainbow, Jacob had arock, Moses had the blood on the doorpost...what would you have? It is not your struggle that takes you there, but your alignment of faith and the operations of God concerning you. Don t wait for 25 years, agree with God today and you will begin a new level of awareness that will take you from where you are to where you want to be! page 12 VESSELS OF GLORY MAGAZINE
