2 Broadcasting Station KFIX This station is owned and operated by the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with headquarters at Independence, Missouri. It was licensed by the Government in the summer of 1923 and has since maintained the regular broadcasting schedule given on the preceding page. The equipment used in this station was made and assembled in our own laboratory. It has a power output rated at 250 watts. The transmitting circuit is the Meissner inductively coupled type. Telephone lines connect the equipment at the station to the Radio Studio, the First Independence L. D. S. Church, or the Campus of the Independence Institute of Arts and Sciences. The broadcasting apparatus is licensed under patents of the American Telephone & Telegraph Company. Listeners -in are invited to make reports, comments, or criticisms concerning our broadcasting. Those who are interested in obtaining information regarding the history and beliefs of our church may obtain free literature by addressing: Publicity Department, Box 255, Independence, Missouri.
