A pre-1960 writeup of the home describes the "old burying ground" lying to the east of the house, with "tall cedars standing as sentinels watching over those who lie in the family plot." The cemetery was moved in 1960 after the acreage between the house and Sander's Corner (at Loch Raven Drive, now McFaul's) was sold by Walter M. Jenifer to the State of Maryland Rock Rest Family?
