2 Seventy Weeks of Daniel The Key to Revelation The Seven-Year Peace Treaty was never mentioned in Revelation. The Seven-year was never mentioned. The 3 ½ years of peace was never mentioned, and yet almost every evangelist I know will teach it, why? If you type seven-year peace treaty into Google, you will find out why. However, it won t be because they found the proof in the Book of Revelation. They are all using Daniel 9:27. Daniel 9:27 (KJV) (27) And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. Here is how most translate this verse. He, the Antichrist, will confirm a covenant peace treaty with Israel for seven years, and 3 ½ years later he will stop all reinstated sacrifices and place an abominable statue of himself in the wing of the temple, desecrating it until the full determined end will be poured out upon him. An entire universal doctrine based on one verse with no confirming scriptures from Revelation. Don t you find that odd? So, here is what I did. I amplified the whole passage, not just a single verse. Let s begin. The Seventy Weeks of Daniel Daniel 9:24 (Amp. Hebrew) (24) Seventy weeks, or 490 years are marked out and decreed to come upon the people and upon the Holy city of Jerusalem to 1 finish the penalty of their transgressions, 2 to make an end to sin 3 to forgive the offense of their iniquities, 4 to bring in everlasting righteousness and joy as a reward, 5 to mark and finish with a sign of completion, the vision of prophecy from God respecting future events, and 6 to anoint the most Holy One. Spring 457BC 408BC 26AD 30AD 70AD years 490 Years 3.5 years WRATH 490 YEARS TO ACCOMPLISH THESE SIX THINGS These are six amazing covenant promises, and He will accomplish them in 490 years. Each graph is virtually the same, but only the highlighted parts correlate with the verse above it. Verse 24 gives us the six promises, ending with Him being anointed the Most Holy One in the Millennial Kingdom. We ve been given the finale of the 490 years. Now let s see what will mark the beginning.

3 Daniel 9:25 (Amp. Hebrew) (25) Know therefore, and understand that from the going forth of the public declaration of the edict to rebuild and restore Jerusalem, until the Messiah the Prince comes, there will be seven weeks and sixty two weeks. The plaza, otherwise called the broad place, will be built again and the ditches dug of the fortified city, even in times of distress. Each week is a heptad or a seven-year period. That means seven weeks is 49 years and 62 weeks is 434 years. Spring 457BC 408BC Silent Years 26AD 30AD 70AD years 3.5 years 490 YEARS WRATH In Ezra 7, the decree to rebuild Jerusalem was sent out by King Artaxerxes in the of 457BC. It marks the beginning. According to the New Strong s Exhaustive Concordance, Old Testament Chronology (very last page), 49 years later in 408/409BC it was restored. This could have happened on the cusp of the Civil New Year. There is your first block of time. The next 434 years were the silent years between the Old Testament and the New Testament. There is your second block of time. 457BC + 49 years years (483 years) brings us to 26/27AD, which is the year Jesus was baptized and began His public ministry; to which verse 25 is referring. Remember, He was baptized on the cusp of the New Year. This leaves one 'week,' or one seven-year period left in the 490 years, and Christ is now on the planet. This is known as the 70 th week of Daniel. Let s see what happens as the last seven years of this prophecy begin Daniel 9:26 (Amp. Hebrew) (26) After the 62 weeks (which means after 26/27AD), the Messiah will be cut off; He will be killed, but not for Himself. For, it shall be His people who deny Him. And the people of the prince who will come are going to destroy Jerusalem and the holy tabernacle. And the time of the end will come suddenly like a flood until the very end of the war when places will be laid to waste in ruins per the destruction decreed by God. 4 Jesus was cut off after the of 26/27AD. His crucifixion was 3 ½ years later on Nisan 14 of 30AD (Mar/April), and He didn t die for Himself. It was for the sins of humanity. Coincidentally, the Jewish people did deny Him. Then it foretells the fate of Jerusalem and the Temple. They will be destroyed by the people of a Prince. This happened in 70AD by Emperor Vespasian s son, Prince Titus of the Roman Empire. They surrounded Jerusalem in the Spring of 66AD and for 3 ½ years they starved the people to death and killed those who tried to escape. In the of 70AD, the end of the Jewish-Roman War came like a flood, when the Romans finally breached the walls and took the city. The Tabernacle was ransacked and burned and 98,000 Jews were taken prisoner. This has all been fulfilled perfectly, just as Daniel prophesied. But we have a slight problem with the 490-year timeline. Although Jesus started the last 7-year period in the of 26/27AD at His baptism, He didn t finish it. He was killed 3 ½ years too soon. Therefore, He never fulfilled the 490 years or the six things promised in Daniel 9:24, and He can t be anointed the Most Holy One until He does. Daniel 9:24 (Amp. So, Daniel 9:27 goes back into the 7-year covenant and fills-in-the-blanks. He assures the people that they should not lose hope at Christ s death, but rather look forward to His return. For by His death, He will ratify His Covenant promises with blood, but He will finish the remaining 3 ½ years of the contract one day and return to fulfill His promises. Daniel 9:27 (KJV ) (27) And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. When you understand we are still talking about Jesus s six Covenant promises and how He is going to fulfill them when the 3 1/2 year is over, we will understand the beautiful truth of Daniel 9:27, and the entire Book of Revelation will take on a new light. 5 In verse 27, He is Jesus, not the Antichrist. Daniel states that Jesus is going to confirm the covenant for one week (This is your 70 th Week of Daniel). That means the covenant will be 7 years long and the starting point will be 26/27AD on the cusp of the New Year at His baptism. By the end of the 7 years, He will be anointed the Most Holy One. Per the New Strong s Exhaustive Concordance, Universal Subject Guide to the Bible, page 52, the 7-year covenant that He is going to confirm in 26/27AD is the New Evangelical Covenant, dated in prophecy Daniel 9: The Antichrist of the End Times is not going to bring a New Evangelical Covenant to anybody, Jesus already did. Matthew 26:28 (NKJV) (28) "For this is My blood of the New Covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Daniel 9:27a (KJV ) (27) And He shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: The greatest tool for covenant making came to be the written document on which the words of the covenant, its terms in the form of promises and stipulations were spelled out, witnessed to, signed and sealed. There is no firmer guarantee of legal security, peace or personal loyalty than the covenant Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament, (cf. D. R. Hillers, Covenant: The History of the Biblical Idea, Baltimore, 1969) p. 129 That s why there is nothing in Revelation about the Antichrist signing a covenant with anybody. Daniel 9:27 has nothing to do with the Antichrist. The whole passage is about Jesus Christ. This means, by the end of the seven years (or by the end of the 490 year timeline), Christ should have fulfilled His six promises. His seven years began in the on the cusp of 26/27AD when He got baptized and should have ended in the on the cusp of 32/33AD. But He didn t make it to 33AD. In the middle (midst) of the week (seven-year period), He was crucified (cut off) and He caused the sacrifices and the oblation to cease on that day. Although they technically didn t stop, His blood put an end to the need for them. Let s refresh by inserting the amplified definitions so far. Daniel 9:27 (KJV) (27) And He (Jesus) shall confirm the covenant (New Evangelical Covenant) with many for one week (seven years): and in the midst of the week (3 ½ years in) He (Jesus) shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease (they are no longer necessary). This next part of verse 27 states, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate even until the consummation. Many people think this translates, and the antichrist will place the abomination of desolation (an abominable statue of himself) in the wing of the temple and desecrate it until the end, which technically he will do. But the words overspreading of abominations in verse 27 don t mean the abomination of desolation. Different words, different definitions.

I was glad to see the cross reference used in Matthew 4:5 to help bring clarity, because I know the antichrist isn t going to place his statue on the highest summit of the temple, it s going in the Holy Place. Matthew 4:5-7 (NKJV) (5) Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, (6) and said to Him, "If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: 'He shall give His angels charge over you,' and, 'In [their] hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.' " (7) Jesus said to him, "It is written again, 'You shall not tempt the LORD your God.' " (Don t make me prove my power). And from the highest summit of the temple of abominations He will make it desolate. ש ק וץ Shiqquwts Abominations H8251 Abominable idols And from the highest summit of the temple of abominable idols He will make it desolate. This could be a double prophecy. At the crucifixion, Satan thought he had won. But Christ did. He symbolically went to the pinnacle of the temple Satan told Him to throw Himself down from and cast down all other abominable idols even until His return (the consummation). The veil was torn giving people access to the One True God. And when the temple gets rebuilt, Satan will take it back from the Jews again and defile it with a statue of the Antichrist. But that won t last for long. When Christ returns in glory, He is going to cast down those abominable idols again. This time forever. Here is the entire Seventy-Weeks of Daniel fully amplified with details inserted. Remember, it s all about Jesus. Daniel 9:24-27 (Amp. (27) And Jesus will confirm a New Evangelical Covenant with many for seven years (beginning in 26/27AD), and in the middle of the seven years (in the Spring of 30AD), He will cause the bloody sacrifice and the sacrifices offered to divinity without blood to cease. And from the highest summit of the temple of abominable idols, He will lay them all to waste, even until the consummation (His Return), and as for the destruction decreed by God, the divine wrath of God will be poured out like rain upon the Antichrist. It s all about Jesus. But like I stated, the prophetic 490-year timeline stopped 3 ½ years shy of completion, because Christ died. He can t be anointed the Most Holy One in the Millennial Kingdom until He completes the remaining 3 ½ years. Spring 457BC 408BC 26AD 30AD 70AD years 490 YEARS 3.5 years WRATH There s your. It is not an apocalyptic nightmare, and it is not the wrath of God. It s the last remaining 3 ½ years of the 490-year prophecy. He will bring up Nero from Hell. He will bring a False Prophet alongside him. He will bring down two witnesses from Heaven who are unkillable for 3 ½ years and He will mark 144,000 people of the tribes of Israel who will stay behind to witness, because the 3 ½-year is Christ s last chance to call back to love and unity the bickering church (Ephesus); to call back to righteousness the compromising church (Pergamos); to call back to truth to the deceived church (Thyatira); to call back to attention the sleeping church (Sardis) and to call back to the fervor of faith the lukewarm church (Laodicea). In the midst of this, He promises to protect the loving church (Philadelphia) and to comfort the persecuted church (Smryna). Then, after the last half of the seventieth week of Daniel is

8 complete, I believe on Tishri 1 (the Unknown Day) He will return from Heaven in the clouds, resurrect the dead-in-christ and snatch away His bride. Then on Tishri 10, The Day of Atonement, He will return to earth at His Second Coming and cast the Antichrist and the False Prophet into the Lake of Fire, sink Rome, Split Mt. Olives to deliver His people, punish the wicked in the Battle of Armageddon, gather His people back to Jerusalem, 1 finish the penalty of their transgressions, 2 make an end to sin, 3 forgive the offense of their iniquities, hold the Sheep and the Goat s Judgment, 4 bring in everlasting righteousness and joy as a reward, 5 mark and finish with a sign of completion the vision of prophecy from God respecting future events, revamp the country, resurrect the whole house of Israel, place them people back in their lands and 6 be anointed the most Holy One for the Millennial Kingdom. Daniel 9:24-27 confirms it all. Isn t it odd that Daniel 9:27 is the main verse used for the Antichrist and his seven-year peace treaty during the seven-year, but he s not even on the planet for seven years? Isn t it strange that people think the rider on the White horse is the Antichrist because he brings in 3 ½ years of peace, when he only brings war? Daniel 9:27 is all about Jesus Christ confirming the New Evangelical Covenant with us, and the six things He was willing to die for, in order to give us. Sadly, we aren t even acknowledging it, because we ve mistranslated the verse. Because people think the tribulation is seven years long, they stop the prophetic timeline at Christ s baptism in 26/27AD and save the seventieth week as one lump sum. They don t think it s started yet. The problem is, nobody gave them the right to stop a prophetic timeline just because they need it to fit their theology. Jesus fulfilled the first half of the seven-year covenant during His earthly ministry. The only reason the prophetic timeline stopped was because He died. There is only 3 ½ years left. That is why every reference concerning the timeframe of the is 3 ½ years, not seven. The Holy Spirit inspired men to write it three different ways just for our clarification, and we still screwed it up. Here s your proof that The will be 3 ½ years long. Revelation 11:2 (Amplified Greek) (2) But the courts outside of these three places, don t measure. For those will be given to the Gentiles. For the holy city of Jerusalem will be desecrated by devastation and outrage for {forty and two months} - 3 ½ years. Daniel 12:7 (KJV) (7) And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth forever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. 3 ½ years.

9 The two witnesses will be in Jerusalem from the start of the 3 ½ years until the end Revelation 11: 3 (Amplified Greek) (3) And I will give power and permission to my two witnesses, who are faithful interpreters of my plan of action and purposes, and they will foretell the future events pertaining to the Kingdom of God for {a thousand two hundred and threescore days 1260 days = 3 ½ years} while wearing sackcloth, reminiscent of the Old Testament prophets, who led a strictly disciplined life. Christians in Israel (the woman) who know of this prophecy will flee, and they will escape the shipwreck of their country during the 3 ½ years. Revelation 12:14 (Amplified Greek) (14) And the woman (Israel) was given two wings of a great eagle (divine help), that she might fly into the desert wilderness, into the place where she could dwell, and she was nourished, supported and fed for a time, and times, and half a time from the sight or presence of Satan.- 3 ½ years. (not raptured, just protected like Noah) The Antichrist will be on the scene for 3 ½ years, not seven. Daniel 7:25 (Latin Vulgate) (25) And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High: and he shall think himself able to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. - 3 ½ years. Revelation 13:5 (Amplified Greek) (5) And there was given unto the Antichrist the ability to speak great things and blasphemies against God s divine character, and power was given him to continue in this position {forty and two months} - 3 ½ years. After the 3 ½ Years is over Christ will snatch away His Bride Matthew 24:29-31 (Amp. Greek) (29) Immediately after the of those days, the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give light and the stars will fall from Heaven and the powers of Heaven will be shaken. (30) And then shall come into view the sign, which indicates the Messiah will shortly come from Heaven into a visible manifestation, and then all the people of the earth will beat their chests in grief and they shall see the Lord returning from Heaven in the clouds in Kingly power and clothed in Kingly garments. (31) And He will send His angels, who have accompanied Him on His return, to serve Him with a great sound of a trumpet and they will gather together the Christians from one end of the earth to the other. I told you Revelation was the greatest love story never told. Next lesson I will unveil how I know this.
