3 The Name of Jesus 3 The Name of Jesus is our Power of Attorney. Matthew 28-Mark16 Go Ye, in my name. This is giving the church (the believers) the right and privilege to exercise Jesus power here in the earth. All power is given us in heaven and in earth. Power of attorney simply means; As my appointed deputy, my lawful agent with power of Attorney to use my name, for me, and in my name, in my place, and in my stead to manage all my business and affairs here in the earth, I hereby give and grant to said Attorney full power and authority to perform every act whatsoever to be done in the premises as fully as I might if personally present. Like-marriage-my wife Ephesians 3:14 15 speaks of the family name and Ephesians 5:23 compares marriage to the church. We are the glorious church. We are the bride of Christ with all the brides rights the name of Jesus. WE HAVE THE VERY RIGHT TO USE THE HIGHEST NAME IN THE UNIVERSE. The name of Jesus is so powerful it is hard for us to understand. We have realized what and who was behind the name. The Early Church in the Acts of the Apostles did supernatural feats in the name of Jesus, and the name has not lost any of its power. The name of Jesus is ours just as much as it was theirs and we have the legal right to use the name just as the Early Church did. As so stated above, we have been given the Power of Attor-

4 4 ney to use Jesus name, from Jesus. He himself gave us the right. ( As my lawful agent and attorney, for me and in my name, in my place, and in my stead, to manage all my business and affairs. I hereby give and grant to said attorney full power, and authority to perform every act whatsoever to be done in the premises as full as I might, if personally present. ) It glorifies God when we use the name of Jesus against anything of satan. Satan knows the power in the name of Jesus and he knows our authority to use the name. He also knows that he must flee when the name is used. His only hope is to keep us ignorant of our authority in the name, and try to cause doubt to come to Christians about their authority in Jesus name. The name of Jesus stands as the most powerful weapons in the Christians arsenal. God s intention for the born-again is for them to walk in the power of almighty God just life Jesus. (Nothing Less!!!) Before the return of our Lord Jesus, there will be a mighty army of believers who will know who they are In Christ and know their authority in the name of Jesus. They shall reign in life over every circumstance, over every problem, over sickness, anything of the enemy; just like Jesus did. I John 4:17 As he is, so are we in this world NOW! CONFESSIONS I have confessed Jesus as Lord, and I am saved in Jesus name. My salvation is sure in Jesus name. I believe in Jesus name and have become a son of the living God.

5 Jesus name was given to him as a conqueror, all power is behind this name and I have a right to use it. 5 Every knee has to bow to the name of Jesus: in heaven and earth I have a legal right to use the name. I can do the work that Jesus did, in his name! Jesus name is my family name, I have the right to use it as much as I have a right to use my earthly father s name. There is healing in Jesus name, and I lay hands on the sick and they are healed in Jesus name. Demons have to flee when I use the name of Jesus. They run when I use the name of Jesus. Poverty bows to the name of Jesus. Jesus gave me power of Attorney to us his name. I exercise all authority in his name. I am in Jesus, he is in me, I can do all things through him. I am in Christ and have put on his qualities. The name is mine! The name is mine! Jesus gave it to me. I am bold to use the name of Jesus, I know what is backing the name. Heaven itself is upholding the name. My body is off limits to sickness in the name of Jesus. The power, the wealth, the glory of God is backing the name of Jesus.

6 6 I can do anything Jesus can do in his name. Jesus name commands respect in three worlds; heaven, earth, the spiritual under world: and I have authority from the head of the church to use the name of Jesus! Isaiah 9:6 The Name in Prophecy JERU YLT For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called wonderful, counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. for there is a child for us, a son giver to us and dominion is laid on his shoulders; and this is the name they gave him; wondercounselor, mighty-god, eternal Father, Prince of Peace. He doth call his name wonderful, counselor, mighty God, Father of eternity, Prince of Peace. Matthew 1:21 Birth Jesus (Jehovah is Salvation) JERU And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sons. She will give birth to a son and you must name him Jesus, because he is the one who is to save his people from their sins.

They ll name him God-is-with-us. The virgin shall conceive and have a child, and they shall give him the name Emmanuel, for that name means God is with us. Matthew 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

Yet wherever men did accept him he gave them the power to become sons of God. To those who trust in his name he has given the privilege of becoming children of God: He gave to them a legal right to become bornones of God, to those who place their trust in his name.

Under all heaven there is no other name for man to call on to save them. And salvation is in him alone: for there is not other name in the whole world, given to me, to which we must look for our salvation. There is no salvation in anyone else, for in the whole world there is no other name which has been granted to men but this by which we must be saved. Everyone who invokes the name of the Lord will be saved. 11 Baptism in the Name (To Become the Property of) Romans 6:3 WAND TNT NL FD Romans 6:4 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? When we were baptized we shared in the death of Christ. Do you not know that all those of us who were united with Christ Jesus in our baptism were united with him by it in his death? All of us were baptized to show we belong to Christ, we were baptized first of all to show his death. We thereby identify with him, for he died in place of us culprits. In fact, the initiation symbolized our own death and burial with him. Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Your old sin-loving nature was buried with him by baptism when he died, and when God the Father, with glorious power brought him back to life again, you were given his wonderful new life to enjoy. Therefore we, sharing his death through our baptismal immersion, were with him laid in the grave, in order that as Christ was raised to life from among the dead, through his father s glorious power, we, too, might pursue our course in the possession of fresh life. In other words, when we were baptized we went into the tomb with him and joined him in death For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Since we have participated in his death, we will also participate in the new life his resurrection releases. For if we have become identified with the manner of his death, surely we shall be with his resurrection also. For if we were united with him, as it were, by sharing his death, then we shall share his res-

There is no set way to baptize, or no set name to baptize in.
