r We have 8 contnuaton ths mornng the demonstratons 2 Tru.th. All the lessons n the lfe Jesus Chrst pertan to what s called MRegeneraton". They are not ntended for the nstructon the one who needs moral tranng alone, but for that deeper nstructon the soul n ts onward journey to God. We have all recognzed that there s a progressve devel- 5 opment the mnd man; our phlosophers have agan and agan called our attenton to the rse and fall natons, to the advent nto some natons a new sprt, lke that whch for about three hundred years possessed the Greeks, and then passed away. What s t that gves ths nspratoh? What quckens these people? It seems almost an outsde force, as f somethng had come lke a _ wave nto ther mdet, and then ded away. Well, a process smlar 3 to that does go on n human conscousness. We see evdences on every sde ths wave process the mlnd. The fact s that we f lve n a mnd energy, or a mnd substance smlar to the water, t and t s referred to n the Scrptures and compared, ths mnd sub- stance, to the waters the sea. We are told that the one who s t uns table n hs thought s lke the waves the Bea. Now, ths nspraton whch we fnd comng to men and to people, s caused by the quckenng or the rapd movement ths great sea Mnd, If the.people, when ths quckenng takes place, f rse n conscousness and chord wth lt, then we have a new movement the whole race. 9 'here even one man receves n hs conscousness, n hs mnd, ths new mpetus, and lets t, through hs thought and hs word, go forth, thefe s an onward step taken. Everybody n R

that race-conscousnese receves, f they place themselves n proper. $ atttude, the mmerson or the baptsm.. Now, n ths Scrpture,.and especally the New Testament, we have llustrated the movements ths mmerson the mnd n the great sea thought from the Fountan-head, God, and how t affects the ndvdual conscousness. John, the Immerser, we are told, comes frst, and then Jesus, the Demonstrator. Where do we fnd ths n human conscousness? You wll dscern t n the movements the two great departments your mnd, v. hen you receve sprtual truth. Now, John represents the conscous mnd, ths mnd that s dealng wth every-day affars, and whch the ego s t t'r-«-, - 3 conscous. That mnd receves the frst mmerson, or llumnaton ths great 5 wave comng forth from God, and then that llumnaton descends nto the subconscous mnd, whch we know but very lttle, and t s 2 quckened and unfed wth the Substance and the Lfe the man. T straton. And here s where the second movement takes place, or the real demonl r Now, John the Baptst and Jesus Chrst, as you know, were cousns, and John was sx months older than Jesus, and t s presumed, that they were well acquanted wth each other, at least ther mothers were, accordng to the Scrptures; and they worked together. You wll remember that Jesus was baptzed or mmersed by John. That means that hs mnd was llumned, that he receved the quckenng..a * ths great new wave that passed nto the race conscousness about that tme. So we are told that Jesus was baptzed John, and. yet he jwas_greater_.than.john...and when n the.onward growth and- _

development ths mnd substance, nto whch John comes, - and ths, course, refera to the ndvdual mal - the symbology 0 9 cousns and ths relaton smply means that there was a close rela- C ton between the conscous and the subconscous; and yet, at a cer- tan stage whch our lesson refers, John asked f ths one whom e# he had heard, apparently,.was the Messah? Then where shall we get an explanaton ths apparent, gnorance upon hs part? Why, t was smply to carry out the sym- bology, or just what takes place n every ndvdual's mnd when A S he receves the llumnaton n conscousness. Now, ths llumnaton n conscousness quckens all the thoughts. But the subconscous s not aware what s gong on, unless t be nformed. It knows that there s another step necessary. It realzes that t U L FI 7 - doesn't fulfll the law. It s not satsfed wth ts demonstra- tons. You have receved, for example, the truth, and you, n. your ntellectual conscousness, have clearly dscerned just what f :T 'the law s. You see that law, and yet you can't demonstrate t P up to your deal. You seem to lack a certan power, a certan capacty to take hold the workng forces the natural world. So you look for another, and that other s the Chrst, and that Chrst s the Sprt takng possesson the sub-conscous. When L. ths queston from John came to Jesus, he sent word back by those dscples John callng - or sent word back that certan sgns were followng hs work, and that these should be : t testmony to John * that he was the Messah, that he was the one for whom he was lookng; and he sad, "Tell John that the sck are healed, the lame are made

< to walk, the deaf to hear, the eyes the blnd are opened, and the Gospel or the good tdngs are preached to the poor." { jf Now ths means that when the power the Sprt descends nto the subconscous, that t opens the eye the understandng, 0 b. that blnded state mnd whch s usually found n the unll-amna- ted subconscous. All at once t has the lght; you dscern n your subconscous certan truths and then the lame *are made to walk; that haltng the mnd, that mpedment whch has stopped your expresson power, strength, lfe, s all at once made free. And the deaf are made to hear, means that you become receptve to the nflow Truth n your whole beng. And the lepers are cleansed, means that you have the whole system, the body tself goes through a cleansng process, through the recepton nto your con- 9 scousness the pure water lfe, the only serum that wll ever cleanse man from dsease. And the poor have the gospel preached 3 to them. That means that the poor thoughts the subconscous,,- that thought that you are n a state, well, lack, n your general # possesson substance and lfe, and those thngs for whch you have desre - you look upon yourself as beng bereft all these - 3 the gospel Jesus Chrst reveals to you that you have everythng that all the possessons Beng tself belong to you, and the 3: avenues through whch these are made manfest to you are opened up l. and you fnd yourself a new creature n Chrst Jesus. conscous mnd Now, ths s the revellaton and the demonstraton to the T' subconscous actvty, and subconscous power. Jesus then called attenton to the characterstcs John. He.,

sad, "What went ye forth for to see? A reed shaken n the wnd?" 0-0 He meant by that, Dd you expect ths conscous mnd to be waverng, > 3 to bow to every wnd? If you dd, you are mstaken. Now, when your conscous mnd receves the llumnaton the Sprt, you f 'tp are sure the Truth that you receve. If you are recevng the 2 drect nspraton Almghty God, you wll know defntely. It < won't be a queston whe ther you thnk s true or not true. won't be askng others about t, but you wll You absolutely know, and you wll always know f you lsten to your nspr#ton..:3 John ddn't come askng anybody's opnon about the doct- rne that he taught, but he taught the Absolute Truth. nand dd you It.. $ expect to see a man clothed n st ranment"? Ths means that hs l - outer realms establshed n mnd, or the mnd the one who receves the truth, becomes n ts an orgnal natural state mnd. There was nothng artfcal about John. He wasn't up-to-date n hs clothng; he Ead smply a camel's har garment. Now, ths s R n true your thought, when you receve the nspraton or the mmer- son the Mnd the natural man. That s what John receved. He was the Dvne Natural, - nothng superfcal or artfcal, but = he clothed hs thought n the pure orgnal substance the One l. (. Dvne Mnd, Then Jesus sad, "He s a prophet"; he represents ;. And f you can receve t, he s Eljah. Now, we are told that Eljah. John the Baptst was prepared before he was born - or hs mother # j' was - to receve the soul Eljah, the Prophet. And here Jesus Chrst reterates ths. He Bays that John n hs personal character was the ncarnaton Eljah the Prophet; but he also goes on n

# 2 the 2 -- symbology, and he says farther that John came to bear the mes- * j. sage n hs fath the Father, or thngs to come. He was the.,, forerunner; n other words, he dscerned the comng ths deeper,. Prncple, and when the mnd man s llumned wth Sprt, the.9 Sprt the Lord, he naturally falls nto a state where he dlscerns ths comng the Inspred One. And yet, when ths power 7 enters nto the conscousness, and takes up ts place n ts workng, t and the whole man s mmersed n new lfe, and he s restored to hs youth, f he s past the merdan, and a quckenng the whole sub- ' conscous follows, there s a tendency, f one s not on the watch, to stumble. And so, Jesus sad, nblessed be he who fndeth nothng h to stumble at n mem. He meant by that that we who receve ths new mpetus, ths new lfe, should not use t n sense ways, n that P {;,, w co we make t a stumblng block. Now, I would lke to call your attenton especally, because you are a people who are recevng ths mmerson - you have nearly all you receved the baptsm John, your conscous mnds have been quckened, and many are now enterng nto the subconscous quckenng. When you feel ths new lfe n you, and every center Or energy s set nto a new acton, be on your Guard that you use n sense ways. Don't go back nto the old lfe wth < not ths Lfe -IJ 8K the new. Don,t use the new lfe for the beneft n any way sense IZ 0 conscousness. If you do, t wll become a stumblng block to you. 2 And that s what Jesus meant. And Jesus agan called the attenton, ' Z f) hs dscples to John, n that he told them that all the prophets that had gone before hm,,john was the greatest. In other 2

' : that words, those who are umned the Sprt are the greatest all,, who ntellectually perceve the truth, but they are not yet nto the Kngdom, because they haven't receved the subconscous, they haven't./ quckened the nner forces the man, consequently, they fall short. Now, Jesus called the attenton hs dscples to a cer- tan other truth, whch s, that up to the tme John the Baptst, r the Kngdom Heaven had suffered volence, and the volent have taken t by force. But what has been the come back agan and become lke the lttle result? They have had to chld. So John, - or so f, U Eljah the Prophet, who took the Kngdom Heaven by force, - he P used methods n gettng nto what we call the superor forces the mnd, that were volent; and f you, n an ntellectual way, are H seekng to know the secret processes Beng, f you are tryng to conjure up forces and powers occultsm n any way, you are tryng to take the Kngdom Heaven, or ths Kngdom Mnd - because --JI. s what Heaven s here referred to - you are tryng to take t by force. k You wll remember the forceful ways n whch Eljah used the Power God. He was destructve n hs methods. When he * ' found opposton n the Prests Baal, he slew four hundred them, and called down the fre heaven upon ther alters. God ddn't condemn hm for t. Yet And we are told that Eljah went up nto heaven n a charot fre. Well, that means that through the volent actvtes the mnd, he set the cells hs body fl d nto such rapd actvty, that he burned them up. He ddn't save hs body alve, dd he? He went up nto the realms mnd and ds- 7

f-«appearedo Well now, Eljah took the Kngdom Heaven by volence 6 8 there by forcd. He had to come back agan; he had to come back as / John the Baptst. He ddn't reman n the Kngdom. Orthodoxy. tells us that Eljah went to heaven. Well, I know he ddn't. I. know Eljah had to come back as John the Baptst. He smply tore : open a place n hs conscousness that let hm temporarly Bee the -. forces the Infnte Mnd back the nvsble world, but he ddn't abde; and he ddn't abde, because he ddn't come under the four-fold law, the perfect law the mmersng mnd the Lord Jesus Chrst. Now, when we are mmersed by John, when the doctrne -- the Sprt, as revealed through ths gospel, s understood by the - conscous mnd, then followed up n the subconscous, there 6 an harmonous, a perfect openng the whole man to the Dvne Law, and when that man goes nto the Kngdom God, he abdes, h: re- /3 mans n ths lfe everlastng, accordng to Jesus Chrst. 8 Then Jesus calls attenton to the fact that the re s a certan fault-fndng among the people, the habts John, and -6 3 I. Jesus hmself. He says that John the Baptst came nether eatng nor drnkng, and ye say he hath a devl, whle the Son Man came both eatng and drnkng and he s a wne-bbber and the assocate publcans and snners". Now, the meanng ths s that k when the conscous mnd receves the truth, t s abstemnous n applyng t. son, or ths new nspraton. Then comes the -- t doesn't take & It s tmd n recevng the whole nflux ths mmerr

-- - the fullness substance, t doesn't eat the Dvne Lfe, nor ), does t drnk t. It doesn't receve the full lfe. It just 8 receves an ntellectual percepton t. So we fnd people cuttng I. f, when they are smply llumned n the ntellect, cuttng.f the Dvne Substance, cuttng f the Dvne Lfe n ts fullness. : * B But when the.t Dvne Lfe and that Dvne Substance s receved by the + subconscous, when man opens hs whole beng to t, then he takes he A t gladly. He eats and appearance would say, Why, th'at man s drnks t, and those who look at the : a glutton, that man s an K assocate snners, because as the new lfe and the new nspr- 8 :9 7 aton goes down nto the subconscous, t becomes an the snful thoughts there, that they may be assocate all lfted up. And that s 0 why we Bay to you that t s necessary that you watch, that you know P A- that ths new lfe and new substance whch you are recevng s to be used n rghteous wmys, because f you don' t use t n those ways ' -- you are apt to come under the condemnaton the law, and when the condemnaton the law s set up n your mnd, you wll condemn yourself and you wll condemn others, - you wll see the wrong resuts a good thng. Now, John was the ntellectual man percevng that there was evl n the marrage Herodas, the wfe Herod, who was - the dvorced wfe hs brother, Kng Phllp. And John condemned hm n the prson, we are told. That means that demnaton, through the seeng evl by the ntellectual man, he the was put n prson, that condemnaton, and, nsstng upon that as through hs con-.% evl, he fnally had hs head taken f. Ths means that se, as f

20 we get the llumnaton the Sprt, and see the rghteousness k - the law, should be very, very careful how we condemn others, because f ' ' every word that you speak comes back to you; every thought that you ' thnk comes back to you; and f you condemn others - t doesn't make p. f, any dfference how worthy condemnat on they may be - you get that effect, you get the thought n your own mnd and body. If you feel a tghtness sometmes across your forehead, you may know at once that you have been affrmng somethng that sn't the Unversal - you have been proclamng somethng that sn' t true the Dvne Law. The only remedy s to put yourself nto the mmersng subetance and lfe the one Infnte Chrst. Now, ths Chrst Mn< ths Chrst Sprt s always wth us. We are lvng n an age when ' I t s coolng to fruton. I am speakng to a people whom I know un- _, - < 2, stands the law, and I am assured that we shall brng forth the fruts the mmerdon nto sprt those people n the tme the Lord Jesus Chrst. Ths sowng and reapng goes forward n the race, n great seasons, lastng about two thousand years, and the tlme s comng rght at hand for the harvest a crop human r Y Gods. You are Gods when you have receved and demonstrated the law God. when you have fulflled ths mmersng the Sprt, add brought forth n your lfe ts fruts, you shall stand sde by sde wth the Lord Jesus Chrsto :3 A.
