1 Inheritance Now! By Dr. Dan Cheatham INTRODUCTION I hear something in this verse above spoken by Jesus: I hear Him saying: It's your Father's good pleasure to give you the whole kit and caboodle. Here... take it all! Have it all! Eat your cake and keep it too! You get the whole shebang! It reminds me of God's terminology of the Promised Land in the Old Testament: A LAND FLOWING WITH MILK AND HONEY! 'SECONDHAND LIONS' Movie - At the end of the saga, the two old rich codgers declare, "The kid gets it all!" Winner gets it all! I get it all! You get it all! 1 Corinthians 3:21 KJV -...For all things are yours... Page 1 of 5

2 I. JESUS HATH BEQUEATHED US AN INHERITANCE FROM THE FATHER! THY KINGDOM COME, THY WILL BE DONE = "Realm Come! Plan be Done!" (Pray this over people!) Release the Realm of God and the Plan of God over people by speaking decrees over them. When you do this, you are releasing their rightful inheritance into their lives. II. WHERE IS OUR INHERITANCE? 1 Peter 1:4 KJV - To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you... (Note that it says your inheritance is reserved IN heaven FOR you, NOT... FROM you!) Our inheritance is in Heaven where it cannot be diminished by anyone or anything. But we can make TRANSFERS from that inheritance account to our earthly account at any time. It's the ORIGINAL ONLINE BANKING METHOD. So why are we living beneath our privileges and not enjoying our entire inheritance? To hear some Christians, talk, we should be satisfied with just being saved and getting a little cabin in the corner of heaven in the sweet by and by. But the NEW BIRTH is just the entry point into our inheritance... there is so much more! And God wants us to have it all! And O how we NEED it all! We cannot live victoriously or help others live victoriously without appropriating our inheritance. We cannot be a blessing without being blessed ourselves! Take, receive, and possess the Kingdom provisions Christ purchased at such an exorbitant price. God is not pleased when we fail to appropriate what is ours in Christ... just like you wouldn't be pleased as a parent sacrificing much to buy your child an expensive Christmas present, and him of her not liking it, or never using it! 3 III. WHEN CAN WE MAKE WITHDRAWALS FROM OUR INHERITANCE? Colossians 1:12-13 KJV - Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet (Greek: fit, qualified) to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: I AM GOD-QUALIFIED TO RECEIVE, TO PARTAKE OF MY INHERITANCE... AND THAT RIGHT NOW! I can make withdrawals NOW. The Holy Spirit my Bank Teller transfers whatever I've written on my faithcheck. I write that check with my tongue, KY mouth, my lips in prayer. Psalm 45:1 KJV -...my tongue is the pen of a ready writer. IV. WE MUST GET OUR EYES OPENED TO WHAT OUR INHERITANCE INCLUDES. Ephesians 1:17-18 KJV - That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, V. JUST TO MENTION A FEW OF THE BLESSINGS, OUR INHERITANCE INCLUDES: PARDON FROM and POWER OVER sin! Romans 6:14 KJV - For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. Health and Healing. Exodus 15:26 KJV -...I am the LORD that healeth thee. Page 3 of 5

4 Provision and Prosperity. Psalm 35:27 KJV - Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. Perfect Peace and Perpetual Poise. Isaiah 26:3 KJV - Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Joy Unspeakable and Full of Glory. Favor with God. (Proverbs 3) Favor with Men. (Proverbs 3) Access to the Throneroom of God. (Ep 2:18) Companionship, Power and Guidance from the Holy Spirit. Comfort and Consolation. Harmony, Unity and Agreement with Others. Total Victory in every area of life. (Don't make peace with defeat! No detente with mediocrity!) KINGDOM EXPANSION. Isaiah 60:22-61:1 KJV - A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time. The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; Page 4 of 5

5 GOD SAYS THAT LIFE INTERNATIONAL CHURCH DOES NOT, I REPEAT DOES NOT, HAVE TO REMAIN SMALL. The Lord whispered to my spirit, "BIRTH THEM!" Isaiah 54:2-3 NLT - Enlarge your house; build an addition; spread out your home! For you will soon be bursting at the seams. Your descendants will take over other nations and live in their cities. But you may say, " Well pastor, those promises were just for the Jews.". But I say, "NOT! THE NEW TESTAMENT SAYS ALL THE PROMISES OF GOD ARE YEA IN CHRIST AND AMEN BY US! Page 5 of 5
