Leath, 13th Episcopal WMS Supervisor Ms. Gwendolyn Dillihunt, 13th Episcopal WMS President Ms. LaTanya Germany, 13th District YPD Director Ms. Angelica Jones, 13th District YPD President Mrs. Gladys Brock, TN Conference WMS President Mrs. Veretta Woods, Tennessee Conference YPD Director Mr. Darren Cummings, Tennessee Conference YPD President Mrs. Mattie Dixon, Area I WMS Chairperson Ms. Londa Walker, Host Area I YPD Director Ms. Norma McClellan, Local Host WMS President Ms. Ramona Young, Host Local YPD Director Rev. Roderick Belin, Host Local Pastor Rev. Ralph Johnson, YPD Host Pastor, St. John A.M.E. C Rev. Troy Merritt, Host Presiding Elder, Nashville District Rev. Sydney Bryant, Associate Presiding Elder, South Nashville District We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God; those who are called according to His purpose Romans 8:28 Thank God for giving me the opportunity to serve and for trusting me with your most precious gifts from God, our young people! It is with great joy that I am able to stand and be called to strengthen the lives of young people in their journey of faith and it is also my great joy to give God honor and present my report as the Tennessee Conference YPD Director. This conference year was indeed a new experience. It was very eye-opening, exciting, and overall rewarding. The goal was to get to know each of our youth. The mission was to see each of them Grow and develop as Christs Disciples and build upon God s Glory. Another goal for our youth was to have them Glow with the wisdom of God, so they are prepared to Go out into this world and serve. We were given the green-light and are ready to go, right now! This became the busiest time for me in a long time. The Love and respect that we have for our youth, the churches we visited, the meetings we shared fun times in, and most importantly the smiles on their faces. We attempted great things through Super-Bowl of caring, YPD Retreats, and Self Denial. The sea of so many young faces and the remembrance of many new names is what has made this journey the most rewarding. Yes, or journey was filled with a number of challenges, disappointments and sluggish activity, but we are all called to be a light to the world, and a light that shines farthest, shines brightest. Then said He unto His Disciples, The Harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the Harvest will send forth laborers, into His Harvest. Matthew (KJV) To all, thank you for this assignment of service. Your faith, support and assistance throughout this conference year will always hold a special place in my heart. Continue to give Love, Peace and Joy as you Grow, Glow and Go for Christ. Humbly Submitted, Veretta Woods
