Sponsoring dealership is Boardtracker Harley Davidson 2016 was a year of change and fun Season s Greetings As 2016 draws to a close this year has been a exciting year for our chapter. While many changes have taken place the one constant has been our dedicated members and their passion for the love of motorcycle riding. Our director John Harris had dedicated himself to making our chapter a fun, enjoyable and rewarding experience for us all. With the assistance of his wife Sarah, our secretary, Lisa Radant, our returning assistant director, and all of our first year officers, Sandy Welch, membership, Phil Welch, head road captain, Kevin Manning, safety, Laurie Cruse, treasurer, Joe Bucknell, merchandise, Lyle Boss, activities and our veterans, Laura Farnsworth, photographer and historian, Mary Jackson, Ladies of Harley, and myself newsletter editor, we hope to have made your membership with us great. All of this could not have been possible without the all of the assistance and great cooperation we receive from Boardtracker Harley Davidson our sponsoring dealership under the direction of Brandon Wilson, general manager and the entire staff at Boardtracker. Late November the HOG chapter officers met to plan out our 2017 calendar of events and activities and I can tell you next year will be even better and bigger. Stay tuned for all the upcoming activities we are planning. Recently Mary Jackson announced she will be stepping down from our Ladies of Harley but will be active as our Camden liaison. Renate Rain Nietzold is our new Ladies of Harley officer and she already has some great events planned for next year. January starts our membership renewal period and I hope everyone will join us again for a year that promises to be bigger and better. And remember the Boardtracked HOG chapter is YOUR chapter. We urge you to let us know what s working and what's not. We want your experience with us to be as enjoyable as possible. If you have ideas on rides or events that you would like to do, let us know. I few teasers on what s coming this year is another great night at the Janesville Jets hockey a Super bowl party at QSL, some overnight rides, a ladies day of pampering by our LOH, and the return of the great Chili cook off! As each year passes we look back and reflect on the moments that stand out and along with the great times and enjoyment we have shared, certainly our hearts were saddened from the loss of our long time safety director Dave MacDonald and the passing of a few of our members family and loved ones. 2 Hello chapter members. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We are now into December can you believe it. We had another great chapter meeting. Our planning meeting went very well our head road captain and his assistants put together some great rides for next year. Hope to see you all on the rides. Hopefully you had a chance to stop at Boardtracker s and took advantage of all the great deals that they had (especially the free gift wrapping that was accomplished by Lyle and yours truly!). We will be ending 2016 with two great events: the bake sale on December 3 and the Christmas Party on December 10. Be sure to stop on by for some great baked goods.
