WHEREAS he Governor of he Terrory of Hawa, has, by Execuve Order No. 69, daed he 0h day of November, Nneeen Hundred and Nneeen, se asde for publc purposes a ceran rac of governmen land suae n he dsrc of Wamea, Couny of Kaua, and more fully descrbed n sad Execuve Order No. 69, and conanng an area of 5 acres, more or less, for a publc park o be known as he "Puu Ka Pele Park," under he managemen and conrol of he Couny of Kaua; BE IT ORDAINED by he People of he Couny of Kaua: Secon. MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL. The managemen and con rol of he sad rac of land, for and as a publc park, o be known as "Puu Ka Pele Park," s hereby acceped by he Couny of Kaua and for he proper admnsraon of he dues of such managemen and conrol, here s hereby creaed a board of managers o be known as he "Board of Managers of Puu Ka Pele Park," herenafer referred o as he "Board of Managers." Secon 2. NUMBER AND AP- POINTMENT OF MEMBERS OF BOARD OF MANAGERS. The nald Board of Managers shall conss of fve members, one, from each Judcal dsrc of he Couny of Kaua, and resden heren, and shall be apponed by a majory of he Board of Supervsors of he Couny of Kaua. One of he members so apponed shall be Charman of he Board of Managers. He shall be eleced as such charman by a majory of hs fellow members, and shall hold offce unl removed or hs successor s eleced In he same manner. In he absence or dsably of he charman, he oher members may selec one of her number o ac as charman durng such absence or dsably of he charman. Secon 3. TERM OF OFFICE. Sad members of he Board of Managers shall be apponed and hold offce as follows: One for a erm of one year, one for a erm of wo years, one for a erm of hree years, one for a erm of four years and one for a erm of fve years. Thereafer, upon he expraon of sad respecve erms of offce, he same shall be flled for he full erm of fve years, n such manner ha he erm of one member shall expre each year. Secon. The Board of Managers shall, subjec o he orders of he Board of Supervsors of he Couny of Kaua, have he man agemen and conrol of he sad "Puu Ka Pele Park" and he possesson, managemen and conrol of all propery whch may, upon he passage of hs Ordnance, or heafer, be provded or acqured for he purposes of hs Ordnance or any of hem.
