8 Purpose of the Cherubim And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and day and night they do not cease to say, "HOLY, HOLY, HOLY is THE LORD GOD, THE ALMIGHTY, WHO WAS AND WHO IS AND WHO IS TO COME" 1 Peter 2:9 Revelation 4:8 Wings of the Living Creatures The Four Living Creatures are the ONLY Creatures described with Wings in the Holy Bible In Ezekiel 1:6 they are described with FOUR wings Symbolizing a Worldwide Worship. In Revelation 4:8 they are described with SIX wings Symbolizing a Worship of the Seraphim Hymn 197 Seraphim in the Bible Above the throne of God stood the Seraphim: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
