2 WOMEN ON MISSIONS THE WOMEN ON MISSIONS What's Your Part in God's Plan? Join us as we seek Gods heart! Women on Mission will be meeting on Monday, September 24 at 6:00 PM. All women are invited to come and study with us about where God wants us in His plan. MISSIONS BAZAAR will be in November. We ask everyone to be making projects to be sold at the Bazaar. All of the proceeds go to Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. We need men and women to be busy sewing, wood working, jewelry making or whatever craft you do. More information will be forthcoming. 3 MEN S PRAYER BREAKFAST The monthly men s breakfast will be on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Brother s Restaurant at 9 AM. Please remember to wear your green shirt and bring your bible. Any questions, contact Rob *ATTENTION ALL MEN OF FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH MURPHY* We have received the ability to get Super Early Bird Tickets to the Annual Johnny Hunt Men s Conference (see flyer). We will be staying overnight on January 25th. The Super Early Bird Special is $45 per person which includes a steak dinner on Friday night and snacks during the conference. We have a block of rooms reserved. More details to follow. Sign up and /or let Rob Amsden know if you plan to attend this blessed event for men worshiping together by 9/15. UPCOMING EVENTS TEACHER APPRECIATION LUNCHEON The month of September is when we honor our Sunday School teachers here at MFBC. This year we are planning a Sunday School Teacher Appreciation Luncheon on Sunday, September 23, 2018, immediately following the morning worship service. Please plan to come and bring a covered dish to show your appreciation for the dedication and service of our Sunday School teachers. Bread and drinks will be provided by the Church. Thank you, Mildred Pullium CHURCH YARD SALE October 26 and 27, 2018 Sponsored by the Long Range Planning Committee. All proceeds will benefit the window replacement project. Their return date is set for December 7 or 8. They will need our prayers and financial support. On Sunday night September 16, they will be sharing about how we can be a prat of this Mission Opportunity.
