3 1. Hymn All Things Bright and Beautiful All things bright and beautiful, All creatures great and small, All things wise and wonderful: The Lord God made them all. Each little flower that opens, Each little bird that sings, He made their glowing colors, He made their tiny wings. Refrain The purple headed mountains, The river running by, The sunset and the morning That brightens up the sky. Refrain The cold wind in the winter, The pleasant summer sun, The ripe fruits in the garden, He made them every one. Refrain He gave us eyes to see them, And lips that we might tell How great is God Almighty, Who has made all things well. 5 2. Hymn The Lord s my Shepherd The Lord s my Shepherd, I ll not want; he makes me down to lie in pastures green; he leadeth me the quiet waters by. My soul he doth restore again, and me to walk doth make within the paths of righteousness, e en for his own name s sake. Yea, though I walk through death s dark vale, yet will I fear none ill; for thou art with me, and thy rod and staff me comfort still. My table thou hast furnished in presence of my foes; my head thou dost with oil anoint, and my cup overflows. Goodness and mercy all my life shall surely follow me; and in God s house for evermore my dwelling-place shall be.

8 She Is Gone You can shed tears that she is gone Or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that she ll come back Or you can open your eyes and see all she s left. Your heart can be empty because you can t see her Or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember her and only that she s gone Or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back Or you can do what she d want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on. David Harkins

11 Who was Frances? Born in 1921 in Woolwich Hospital, her father was a soldier in the Border Regiment. Wounded in Gallipoli he spent the rest of the Great War as a recruiting sergeant. Her mother Maud had 9 children in all. Working in a munitions factory during World War 2 she met, fell in love with and married Howard in Howard was an engineer in the Royal Artillery Corp and their first son was born in Two years later in 1946 their second son arrived and somewhat belatedly, the third son was born in Whilst bringing up the family she also worked part-time as a cleaner and when the boys were older she worked fulltime in the M.O.D. After Howard s passing in 1986 she refused to curl up an wither away, taking part in social dances and clubs she met her companion of 10 years, Chas. After Chas passed on, she met and fell in love with Bill with whom she spent 11 wonderful years until he fell prey to dementia. Frances leaves behind her 3 sons, 9 grand children and numerous great grand children. She is also survived by 2 sisters and 1 brother.
