Volunteers sought for directory photo shoot We re seeking volunteers from our church body for our photography sessions on Friday, June 1st and Saturday, June 2nd. If you re willing to greet families and assist with the check-in process, please sign the sheet in the narthex. Shifts are approximately 3 hours each and your help is greatly appreciated! Book Club books available Books are available for this summer's ladies book club. If you signed up, please pick up C.S. Lewis' The Screwtape Letters in the narthex. The cost is $10, and checks can be written to Forreston Grove Church. There are extra books available, so if you have not signed up and are interested, contact Janel Jones! 2 Freeport Pregnancy Center collecting change for life The Freeport Pregnancy Center is holding its annual Change for Life fundraiser. Pick up a baby bottle from the narthex, take it home, fill it with pocket change, cash, or checks, and return it to Forreston Grove by Father s Day, June 17th. Your donations help support the center s important work in our community. Vacation Bible School seeks volunteers If you are able to volunteer at Forreston community Vacation Bible School June 4-8, please sign the sheet in the narthex or contact Tammy DeVries. The Lord s Prayer Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. 4 Prayer Concerns Pray that Forreston Grove Church would overflow with love for God, one another, and our community. Pray that we would live beautiful, holy lives. Pray that we would strive to glorify the Lord in all we do, think, and say. Pray that the Session would faithfully lead, shepherd, and defend the flock. Pray that the deacons and trustees would diligently look after the physical needs of the church. Pray that we would be devoted to prayer and reading God s Word. Pray that we would both individually and as one body joyfully share the good news of Jesus Christ with all who will hear.
