7 All About Jesus Seminar Join us for the All About Jesus Seminar with Lee Venden, coming to the Medford Adventist Church September 7-15, with the exception of Sept 8. A dinner will be served in our fellowship room at 5:30 PM each night, with the meeting beginning at 6:30 PM. On September 8 th and 15 th we will meet at 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 2:00 PM with a potluck at 12:30 PM. Please call the Medford Church at for more information. Youth Sabbath School Class Outing The Youth and their families are invited to Church at the Coast next Sabbath, September 8. We ll be meeting at the BLC at 7:30 AM for breakfast, then leaving for Sunset Bay State Park at 8:30 AM. Please make sure to bring a sack lunch so we can spend the day praising, worshiping, hiking and exploring the beach. Supper will be provided. Jaime Jorge in Concert Violin virtuoso Jaime Jorge will give a concert here at the Grants Pass SDA Church on Saturday, September 15, beginning at 6:00 PM. His expressive mastery of the violin has delighted audiences around the globe. Jaime has dedicated his talents to sharing the love of God through sacred and classical concerts and special appearances the world over, touching millions of lives. Trust Officer coming to Grants Pass Ted Perry, Planned Giving and Trust Officer for the Oregon Conference, will be available to meet with members in the Medford and Grants Pass areas on Wednesday, September 19, to help find answers to your estate planning needs. End It Now On September 25, 2018, #EnditNowNAD will be hosting a free online summit, teaching participants about abuse and how to help in a dangerous situation. Spanish Sabbath School (9:30 AM) and Spanish Worship Service (11:00 AM) and a bi-lingual Vespers (6:00 PM) takes place each Sabbath. Especially now, during summer, we re short staffed and volunteers are greatly needed. Please call Larry Sample at for more information. Write-ins on Tithe Envelopes and Online Giving Our church now has two new line items for giving. If you would like to donate to any of the following, please write it on the tithe envelope. There now is a separate Choir Fund as well as a Soup Kitchen fund which will directly impact the weekly Tuesday Soup Kitchen. Last week we served over 180 people! 9 Come Join the Choir! Feeling blue and depressed? Not enough joy in your life? Come to choir practice and sing those blues away! There are many reasons to sing in a choir. These are just a few: Singing is good for your health. It releases endorphins, that feel-good hormone that makes you feel joyful and happy. Singing is so important that God has it as a part of worship in the courts above. {Ev 507.5} Choir singing is the praise of God in song. {Ev 507.2} Singing is a talent of influence, which God desires all to cultivate and use to His name's glory. {Ev 504.3} He wants us to praise Him with heart and soul and voice, magnifying His name before the world. {Ev 503.6} Choir meets every Thursday at 6:30 PM in the Choir Room. COME AND SING!
