Then said Boaz unto his servant that was set over the reapers, Whose damsel is this? And the servant that was set over the reapers answered and said, It is the Moabitish damsel that came back with Naomi out of the country of Moab: Then said Boaz unto Ruth, Hearest thou not, my daughter? Go not to glean in another field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens: Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, 2/

3 2 Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a stranger? And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore. The LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust. Ruth 4:3 (to :) 3 So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife:... SH 40:5 7 5 The more difficult seems the material condition to be overcome by Spirit, the stronger should be our faith and the purer our love. Love casteth out fear SH 79:3 32 Giving does not impoverish us in the service of our Maker, neither does withholding enrich us. Divine strength SH 323:32 2 Willingness to become as a little child and to leave the old for the new, renders thought receptive of the advanced idea. SH 303: Spiritual man is the image or idea of God, an idea which cannot be lost nor separated from its divine Principle. Man s entity spiritual SH 333:2 27 The divine image, idea, or Christ was, is, and ever will be inseparable from the divine Principle, God. 27 SH 4:3 5 3 What we most need is the prayer of fervent desire for growth in grace, expressed in patience, meekness, love, and good deeds. In the soil of an honest and good heart the seed must be sown; else it beareth not much fruit, for the swinish element in human nature uproots it. Spirituality of Scripture SH 5:7 9 Unselfish ambition, noble life-motives, and purity, these constituents of thought, mingling, constitute individually and collectively true happiness, strength, and permanence. Chord and discord SH 5:2 27 Self-forgetfulness, purity, and affection are constant prayers. 27 SH 3:4 Even if prayer is 5 sincere, God knows our need before we tell Him or our fellow-beings about it. If we cherish the desire honestly and silently and humbly, God will bless it, and we shall incur less risk of overwhelming our real wishes with a torrent of words.
