The Fla Ha feels ha colleges and universiies ha ry o play good fooball wihou enrolling good fooball maerial are boh silly and undemocraic isilly because wihou good players i simply can' be done; undemocraic because he majoriy opinion should rule. "When i is played in Norfolk", seemed o us he only answer o his riddle of "Fooball, Fooball; Where are he gae receips?" Home may -be where he hear is, bu fooball is where he crowds are. This example of "applied economics we quie fully appreciae. The demand for such a supply of fooball as "The Universiy of irginia vs. The College of William and Mary" would be much greaer in meropolian Norfolk han quain old Williamsburg. I is also very well undersood by us ha a fooball eam requires somehing more solid han college spiri for is mainenance. Tha he hleic fees of he suden body fail o enirely fill his need is hardly debaable. Ergo, here is more money from fooball in Norfolk han in Williamsburg. Thus he reasons for he ransfer of such Home Games as las Saurday's are a leas financially sound. Wha we do wonder a, are he repors which have come o us ha sudens of he Norfolk Division and Mahew Whaley were charged bu fory cens for admission o he game las Saurday. This, if rue, seems srange when William and Mary undergraduaes were required o pay $1.10 for heir ickes or $1.65 if hey had forgoen o purchase hem a he college. We hold no brief for free admissions o home games in respec o he hleic Fee charged by he'college. The curren school caalogue saes ha his fee gives admission TO GMES ON HOME GROUNDS, no menion is made of home games as such. Foreman Field is no exacly "Home grounds", so here can be no clear cu sand on his poin. If, however, hese repors are rue of lower admission charges for sudens oher han of his College, we do say a real injusice has been done which should never be allowed o happen again. I canno be argued ha sea selecion a he game was he deermining facor in charging our sudens more han minimum prices for supporing heir own eam.
