Please them to the club's address. Hello Everyone, President's Message This weather we are experiencing has been amazing, hopefully many of you have had an opportunity to get out metal detecting. This time last year there was still snow on the ground. Remember we will begin our Finds of the Month event at the March meeting. A big thank you goes out to Mr. Doug Nyholm for his amazing presentation last month about Indian Head Cents. I feel that we all learned a great deal of information on how to identify those mint errors that can bring you a greater value. This month's meeting will be our club medal design voting. Please bring your Utah related design. Be creative and have fun with your design ideas. Also we will be having our Bourse Night. Please bring items that you would like to buy, sell, or trade. This will be a great evening. Another reminder about our room change, we will be meeting in the Gym Room, directly south from the location we have been meeting at. Thanks everyone for your patience and support with these changes. See you at the meeting. They tried several different patterns before choosing the Flying Eagle design. The Indian Head Cent replaced the Flying Eagle in This is a very interesting series with many difficulties, twists and turns; which can be as expensive as you want. 3 Two book by Richard E. Snow that would be good resources if you are planning to complete the series. The multi-volume red book on the far left costs several hundreds of dollars. 4 January's Coin Show The coin show was well attended. Many people were at the show early and talking with other members. CONECA was present and had applications for new members to sign-up. They specialize in errors and varieties. In the News Todd Monson told us an article about an old 1882 found leaning against a tree in Great Basin National Park. An 1861-O half-dollar from the SS Republic ship wreck was sold at a Heritage Auctione for $320. The ship was used during the Civil War. PCGS created a digital coin folder for people to enjoy their coins even if they are stored at an inconvienant location.
