Chapter 1 : The Vials Of The Wrath Of God blog.quintoapp.com ~ The Seven Vials / Bowls of God's Wrath. Rev And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven [ 7 ] angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became like the blood of a corpse, and every living thing died that was in the sea. The third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of water, and they became blood. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. It is what they deserve! They were scorched by the fierce heat, and they cursed the name of God who had power over these plagues. They did not repent and give him glory. The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. They did not repent of their deeds. The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, to prepare the way for the kings from the east. And I saw, coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs. For they are demonic spirits, performing signs, who go abroad to the kings of the whole world, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty. Blessed is the one who stays awake, keeping his garments on, that he may not go about naked and be seen exposed! The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell, and God remembered Babylon the great, to make her drain the cup of the wine of the fury of his wrath. And every island fled away, and no mountains were to be found. And great hailstones, about one hundred pounds each, fell from heaven on people; and they cursed God for the plague of the hail, because the plague was so severe. Normally I would read this at face value, that the great and amazing sign John sees is the angels holding the plagues. I am not personally watching in the heavens Stellarium to try to discern what this might be, but I do make note of the language here in case future watchmen find something obvious related to this. John states that these angels and plagues are the LAST, which strongly supports the view that the Seals, Trumpets, and Bowls are chronological and not concurrent. It also confirms that the Trumpets, at least, were also wrath. John then sees the angels come out of the heavenly sanctuary: Unlike the somewhat limited nature of the Trumpets, these are more severe and all-encompassing in scope. Here is a brief summary of the wrath from the Bowls: Bowl 1 â Harmful and painful sores occur on people who have taken the mark of the beast. Bowl 2 â Entire sea turns to blood, all sea creatures die. Bowl 3 â All rivers and springs become blood. Bowl 4 â Sun scorches people with fierce heat. Bowl 5 â Kingdom of the beast is plunged into darkness. People in anguish over their pain and sores continuing from Bowl 1. The antichrist and false prophet send three deceiving frog-like spirits go out into all the world to collect the people. Bowl 7 â Lightning, rumblings, thunder, greatest earthquake ever, pound hailstones. Bowl 1 â Painful Sores Harmful and painful sores will literally come upon those who have taken the Mark of the Beast. These sores will be painful and untreatable. This bowl reminds me of the sixth plague which God sent upon Egypt in the days of Moses the plague of boils. This time, all the sea creatures will die. Instead of only one third being affected, ALL fresh water will be affected. Drinking water will be in critically short supply. God is just and holy and will execute vengeance for His people Romans Having willfully rejected the knowledge of the truth Hebrews Again, this reminds me of the plagues of Egypt; specifically the first plague where the Nile River was turned to blood. Imagine being covered in painful sores, and then getting them sunburnedâ. Besides extreme discomfort, there may be major ramifications from this heat depending on the duration of it: Now, humanity joins in. This is obviously a supernatural event. That the sores are still present notes that Bowl 5 will be poured out in reasonably close time proximity to Bowl 1. Humanity will be in such agony that they gnaw their tongues in tormentâ yet continue in their blasphemy of God and unrepentance towards Him. The Euphrates river dries up to allow access to Jerusalem from the East. This reminds me of Trumpet 6, in which million demons were released from the Euphrates river to kill one third of humanity. The Euphrates river has been an important river from the dawn of humanity, and here we see the part it is playing in the close of this age of humanity. Note that this Page 1

bowl is poured out upon the air atmosphere. This is when the heavens are shaken, not just the earth. God is literally shaking the kingdom of satan out of place and is taking hold of the heavens and the earth to possess them for Himself once more. The earth will be pelted with pound hailstones. Jerusalem will be split into 3 parts, and raised up onto a flat plain. Bowl 7 includes the events of the Destruction of Mystery Babylon, the Second Coming of Christ, as well as the Battle of Armageddon, which are discussed further elsewhere. Conclusion As the Bowl Judgments are progressively released upon the earth, we see humanity become harder and harder in their hearts towards God. Their reactions of fear, terror, and giving glory to God Seal 6, Revelation 6: By the time Bowl 7 is poured out, all of humanity has chosen a side and will now be judged for whose side they are on â For God, or Against Him. Do you KNOW that no matter when the rapture occurs, you will be counted worthy to escape? Page 2

Chapter 2 : The Seven Vials I heard a loud voice out of the temple, saying to the seven angels, "Go and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God on the earth!" Young's Literal Translation And I heard a great voice out of the sanctuary saying to the seven messengers, 'Go away, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God to the earth;'. New Testament Teacher Resource Manual, Introduction Revelation 15â 16 depicts some of the last events before the kingdom of the devil comes to an end. Revelation 16 records disease, war, and other catastrophic events, as well as false prophets who perform miracles and continue to teach false doctrines to deceive the people of the earth see vv. Prayerfully study Revelation 15â 16 and consider the following principle before preparing your lessons. Suggestions for Teaching Use the following idea or one or more of your own as you prepare to teach Revelation 15â Imagine that the disease appeared in every nation at once and that millions died from the plague in a week. Ask your students to think about that question while studying Revelation He also saw seven more angels, each holding a vial bowl containing a plague. Draw seven bowls on the board, and number them 1 through 7 or simply write the numbers on the board. Invite students to read Revelation Write their suggestions under the appropriate bowl or number. Explain that God lets people suffer the consequences of their sins so they have a witness that they need to repent. What does John say that indicates whether the people repented or not? What might your life be like if you lived during these times? Who will the Lord destroy? Why will the Lord destroy the wicked? How will the righteous be preserved? What is the key to dwelling safely in the Lord? To help students understand that, even though the righteous will be preserved, some will still suffer, read the following statement by the Prophet Joseph Smith: Have students read Revelation Write Joseph Smithâ Matthew 1: Divide the class into two groups and assign each a column. Have them search the references looking for what their phrase means. Discuss their ideas, writing them on the board as appropriate. Testify that the Lord loves His people and will preserve them in the last days, even in the midst of awful destruction. Urge students to be watchful and to keep their covenants so their garments may be clean and ready. Encourage them to develop their faith and to believe all that the Lord has promised. Page 3

Chapter 3 : Revelation Summary «Settled In Heaven Blog, note Command from the temple. In the preceding verses we saw the temple opened and the seven angels with plagues come out. A living one then gave them vials (bowls) of wrath +, and smoke filled the temple. Vials are the wraths of God. This seventh trumpet embraces the seven vials, or last seven plagues, which make up the third woe, and reaches on to Revelation Since this is coming directly from the temple, we can safely say that this is God speaking. He is saying, pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. Bear in mind that this first beast is the political system. The book of Joel: The reason for the ulcers will be tension, anxiety, worry, not knowing what is going to happen. And not knowing, understanding the things that are happening now. The book of Joel warns us of this one world political government system, described in Joel and This Conspiracy is the deception of the end times, they bring in one Worldism, they will control everything. If there is a one Worldism, who can stand against them? God likened this deception to a flight of locusts, where you can identify with the things you can see. These creatures will appeal by the sound of their wings. They want to take over the world, they want to control the world with one god, their god. What is the Lord trying to tell us, He is saying these rulers come from underground, meaning their deals are done underground and behind closed doors. Locusts comes in groups, they come in great swarms destroying all your crops: Why, because of their lies. They will be torment for five months. They think they are following Christ. Many will not know that the false christ will appear first. How do you get the mark of the beast? They follow the world, false teaching, helping Satan bring in one Worldism. These worship Satan, these helped Satan deceive people. This is the reason they received the mark of the beast. What does mean? What happen at the sixth seal, sixth trumpet and the sixth vial. If you worship Satan, you did not wait on the Lord. The book of Joel 2nd trumpet these are spiritually dead by the leaders, they vote for leaders that bring in socialism and communism. The sea represents the masses of people, who are being deceived, they are dead to the truth and who do not have an opportunity to have eternal life until, After the teaching, or the end of the millennium. Thanks to the media, the media is teaching hate, brother against brother, etc.. For Life Today Keep in mind the promised blessing. What can you do to "keep" or "take heed to" or "take to heart" the message? Kenites are the Sons of Cain. People follow the world, false teaching.. They help Satan bring in one Worldism, their god.. Most of the Christian people of the world, would not worship the false christ if they knew his identity. God put a mark on Satan and his children because of what Satan done in the Garden of Eden. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? This mark is your actions, what you believe, what you do. What did Satan do to Eve in the garden? Satan deceived her through lies. What does Satan and his seed do today? They lie, they bring in Babylon, confusion. Have you listen to most of the lying media? And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him. Even after all torment, the angel of the people says Christ is just and fair, This verse is showing love. The angel of People is Michael, Daniel The saints at the altar are now content. Satan and his followers are getting their just rewards. Who shed the blood of saints? Gabriel meaning man of God In Daniel and Revelation; both angels came and lead Daniel and John with the word of God, 8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. Here on earth, they gather the very elect. Also, the angel is talking loudly not softly. The texts read "eagle" The sound of an eagle cries out, the three woes yet to come, warning the people here on earth, Satan and his angels are coming here on earth. The first three trumpets told of the deception upon the earth. The last three trumpets are the woes trumpets to the earth, not heaven, as Satan will be on the earth during these soundings. Christ uses symbolic like insects, water, wind, trees, animals, horses, seasons, all of the nature itself, to relate something to you because you can identify with the things you can see. The truth shall make you free. What was spoken on Pentecost Day? My two witnesses, They shall prophesy what? The word of God The word "sun" is as in Genesis The truth and light pouring from the witnesses, teaching, scorching and crushing Satan. The two witnesses have special power here, God is a consuming fire. They have Page 4

power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: Revelation 11 The power of the oil, The Holy Spirit working through the two witnesses. Many believe the two witnesses are Moses and Elijah This has never happen in Egypt. This is new, it has to do with sun. Because the four winds will be shut. The elect are going to help God directly in His work. What a glorious time is ahead. Christ stated that the elect would be delivered up in the synagogues for a testimony against Satan. The purpose is stated in, Mark At this time Ezekiel 37 will be fulfilled, Because life blood will begin to flow in the dry bones of Israel. Those that have worshipped Satan, will know, they have worshipped Satan, the false christ. Who has power over the plagues? By accepting the false christ, they are negating, the deity of Christ. Verse 10, tell us the two witnesses will come before, Satan saying he is God Revelation Satan shall set his seat in the Holy Place, and this vial is going to be poured out on the very seat of the one world political system. The book of Joel tell us how the Kenites have been trying to bring the world into One Worldism. This verse is identified geographically location. We know that it is located in Judea. Many believe Satan seat will be set up at the Dome of the rock, In the song of Moses there are two rocks, Christ is our Rocks - their rock is Satan. Although he will disguise himself into an angel of light. We know that Christ is the Prince of Light and we being His children, are the children of the light. They repented not of their deeds. Not necessarily out of perverseness or viciousness. The teaching follows the woes and the plagues. Satan appears at the 6th seal, 6th trump and 6th vital Sixth angel poured out his vial, this is also the second woe to earth 6th seal - Question, who shall be able to stand against Satan? The coming out of Egypt. Ezekiel 39 gives us a pretty good idea what will happen to the "kings of the east". The nations which once supplied them have been falling away. Watch the Euphrates river, one side Israel the truth and other Babel confusion. The term as generally used refers to the lands lying immediately eastward of Palestine, Arabia, Mesopotamia and Babylonia; on the other hand mizrach is used of the far east with a less definite signification. I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west Isaiah Mizraim first occurs in the account of the Hamites in Genesis In the use of the name Mizraim for Egypt there can be no doubt that the dual indicates the two regions, upper and lower Egypt, into which the country has always been divided by nature as well as by its inhabitants. Offices of Satan, the dragon, 2nd beast and false prophets he is nothing but a copy cat. Revelation 12 The same uncleanness is coming out of the system, the leader, and his teachers. A frog usually represents something unclean or untrue. It says they seemed to look like frogs. Page 5

Chapter 4 : Seven last plagues poured out Their reactions of fear, terror, and giving glory to God (Seal 6, Revelation, Trumpet 6, Rev ) have given way to cursing and blaspheming God (Bowls 4&7). By the time Bowl 7 is poured out, all of humanity has chosen a side and will now be judged for whose side they are on - For God, or Against Him. The judgment vision of Rev. The gospel of Christ has removed the national restrictions of the old-covenant people. The true Israel stands with the Lamb on Mount Zion inside the city of God, the wicked persecutors are all gathered outside the city of God. Just as the number, for the spiritual Israel reveals its theological significance through its key number 12, so does the symbolic number 1, disclose its meaning through its key number 4. The multiplication of the number 4 in Rev The sanctuary vision of Rev. The plagues are not random natural catastrophes, but planned long ago as the finale of the events of this eon age. The vast majority of Christian scholars believe that the seals and the trumpets are calls to repentance, whereas the plagues are punitive in character. Particularly since no one asked to be born, and certainly no one asked to be born a sinner! WE, humanity, will bring the plagues calamities on ourselves! They will be supernaturally delivered from the attacking antichrist, of which Pharaoh was only a pale anticipation. Who shall not fear Thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? For thou only art holy; for all nations unbelievers SHALL come and worship before Thee; for your judgments just awards are made manifest. The Plagues are brought out of the temple sanctuary by the seven angels clothed as priests of the sanctuary. These are NOT arbitrary, punitive punishments from God. Here is the absolute proof that there will be NO pre-tribulation rapture! They will NOT escape the Tribulation, as so many churches teach. LaRondelle pg, Remember: The First is physical - the Second is Spiritual - 1 Cor They can only be seen when the night is very dark. God will keep His true followers on the earth through the darkest time of the end, so they can shine as bright lights for Him. Like the first four trumpet plagues in Rev 8: As mentioned above, it is God giving us up to our own desires, letting us reap what we have sown. God does not punish us. He just allows us to reap the consequences of our bad decisions. This could certainly refer to literal malignant ulcers the raging epidemic of cancer now occurring as well as spiritual sickness. And the second angel poured out his vial bowl upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man; and every soul living creature died in the sea. Oxygen physical breath keeps human beings, animals, fish and birds alive physically. And the third angel poured out his vial bowl upon the rivers and fountains springs of waters; and they became as blood. Now the drinking water of all men is turned into a curse. It is apparent that these plagues follow quickly after each other in a very short time, or no one would survive the first three plagues. And it was given to him to scorch mankind with fire. The contrast becomes evident. While heavenly voices praise God for His final judgments And its kingdom became dark; and they gnawed their tongues for misery 11 And blaspheme the God of heaven for their miseries and for their ulcers; and they do not repent of their acts. But all the Israelites had light in the places where they lived. So this is probably within a fairly short time period. Plagues are similar to the plagues that delivered the people of God from Egypt. And the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates. And its water is dried up that the road of the kings from the orient east may be made ready. The great River Euphrates was in Babylon. It was Cyrus who allowed the Israelites to return to Israel to rebuild their temple. This false religio-political power will perform dazzling signs and wonders which will enchant the whole world. This has already started with Mary apparitions, speaking in tongues, statues that bleed and cry tears, etc. I am coming as a thief! Rather it explains the background forces involved in the final plagues. No war between nations is in view here. The God of Israel will intervene through His most spectacular Messianic deliverance in all history. He will overrule the Babylonian determination to exterminate the Israel of God by His dramatic intervention of the Fifth Plague. This judgment will suddenly enshroud the attacking multitudes with an impenetrable, supernatural darkness Rev This sign will not only bring the persecutors to a grinding halt, but also will awaken the deceived multitudes to their rebellion against the Creator Himself! It causes them to withdraw their support from Page 6

Babylon. This abrupt reversion of their loyalty to their destruction of Babylon is explained by the angel in the subsequent chapters And a great earthquake occurred, such as did not occur since mankind came to be on the earth; of such proportions was the quake and so great. John mentioned this cosmic quake in his sixth seal 6: LaRondelle, pg Read Ezekiel This document cannot be reproduced in any form except for downloading for personal use. Page 7

Chapter 5 : Revelation Pour out 7 Vials / Bowls of God's Wrath - kjv blog.quintoapp.com This wrath is pictured as being held in seven vials or bowls (). These seven bowls are given to seven angels and in quite rapid succession they are poured out upon the earth. I. Preparation for the Vials of God's Wrath - Ch. The seven angels to whom were given the seven plagues symbolized in the seven vials are now commanded to pour out their divine judgment upon the earth. The word great is mentioned again in connection with the great voice v. One form of interpretation has been to view the vials as merely an enlargement on the trumpet judgments corresponding numerically to them. There is undoubtedly much similarity between the trumpet judgments and the judgments inflicted by the pouring out of the vials of the wrath of God. In both the trumpets and the vials, the first in the series deals with the earth, the second with the sea, the third with rivers and fountains of water, the fourth with the sun, the fifth with darkness, the sixth with the Euphrates River, and the seventh with lightnings, thunders, and a great earthquake. The principle is often overlooked, however, that similarities do not prove identity. A careful study of the seven vials as compared to the seven trumpets will reveal numerous differences. The first four trumpet judgments deal only with one-third of the earth, while the vial judgments seem to be universal in their application and greater in intensity. The position is therefore taken in this exposition that the vial judgments are subsequent to the trumpet judgments and proceed out of and constitute the seventh trumpet. The judgments described in the trumpet pronouncements and the vial pronouncements fall in rapid succession like trip-hammer blows, and they all will be consummated within a short period of time toward the close of the great tribulation. With the pouring out of the first vial, a terrible judgment falls upon men who have the mark of the beast. There is a notable contrast between the first vial and the first trumpet, in that the first trumpet 8: Here the judgment is specifically upon men and is directed to a particular group of men, namely, the beast worshipers who have received the mark of the beast. The judgment is described as a sore or ulcer Gr. The judgment is in the form of a physical affliction of unusual severity bringing widespread suffering. Smith notes that helkos used here to describe the sore is the word selected by the translators of the Old Testament into Greek the LXX for the boils inflicted on the Egyptians in Exodus 9: This image apparently is established in the early part of the great tribulation, the last half of the seven-year period preceding the second coming Almost everyone seems to comply with the demand that all men worship the beast and receive his mark. The vial judgment, therefore, follows this edict. The only ones who escape the judgment are those who have refused to obey the edict of the beast, the few individuals who trust in Christ in those evil days. The warning given in The Second Vial As in the second trumpet in 8: In all these cases it is possible that the sea does not become literally human blood but that it corresponds to it in appearance and loathsomeness. Here the judgment is universal. The reference to the sea may be limited to the Mediterranean, but the same word would be used if the judgment extended to all large bodies of water. In the latter event, a major portion of the earth would be involved in the judgment as most of the earth is covered with water. The Third Vial And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments. The third in the series of judgments extends the turning of water into blood to rivers and fountains, apparently with the same devastating effect, though the results of the judgment are not mentioned. Though some have taken rivers and fountains to be symbolic, there is no reason for not taking this in the literal sense as the sea in the second vial and the men in the first vial. The physical affliction stems from spiritual apostasy. The angel is apparently a holy angel who has some jurisdiction over water. There is a remarkable variety of ministries assigned to angels as recorded in Revelation. The angel declares that because men have shed the blood of saints and prophets, God is righteous in judging them in kind in that they are given blood to drink. Even as the saints are worthy of rest and reward, so the wicked are worthy of divine chastening and judgment. The bloodletting during the great tribulation, as saints are Page 8

slaughtered by the thousands, is without parallel in the history of the race. Christ Himself declares it will be a time of trouble without precedent Matt. The multitude of martyrs in heaven is revealed in chapter 7. The eternal God, the One which is, and was, and shall be v. The statement of die angel of the waters is confirmed by another voice out of the altar, another angel who declares that God, who is almighty, true, and righteous, manifests these attributes in His divine judgments. Combining the judgment of the second and third vials, it appears that all water is turned into blood, constituting a universal testimony to all men that God will avenge his martyred saints. The Fourth Vial And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: Like the fourth trumpet, the fourth vial is a judgment which affects the starry heaven, specifically the sun. In the fourth trumpet the judgment extends to a third part of the sun, moon, and stars, resulting in the darkening of a third part of the day and of the night. The divine judgment thus inflicted, apparently upon the entire earth, does not bring men to repentance but only increases their blasphemy, even though they recognize that the plague comes from the God whom they reject. The implication is that saints in this period who are true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ will not suffer from this plague, and possibly creatures other than men may also escape. The wishful thinking of some that men would repent if they only knew the power and righteous judgment of God is shattered by frequent mention in this chapter of the hardness of the human heart in the face of the most stringent and evident divine discipline cf. The Fifth Vial The fifth judgment resulting from the pouring out of the fifth vial is directed to the throne of the beast and his subjects. The result of the judgment is darkness, pain, and the accumulated effect of the preceding judgment when sores were inflicted as in the first vial. The beast is probably the first beast of Revelation As in the fifth trumpet and in the ninth plague of Egypt Exodus As in both trumpet and vial judgments, there is also pain and torment. The wicked in their suffering are declared to gnaw their tongues for pain, a description of severe agony. The sores inflicted in the first vial were, in this judgment, aggravated and increased. Again, we have the sad note that they blasphemed God as the author of these judgments and did not repent of their deeds. Though they are declared once more in verse 21 to have blasphemed God, this is the last reference to their failure to repent cf. The Scriptures plainly refute the notion that wicked men will quickly repent when faced with catastrophic warnings of judgment. When confronted with the righteous judgment of God, their blasphemy is deepened and their evil purpose is accentuated. The Sixth Vial And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. The sixth vial has occasioned more comment on the part of expositors than any of the preceding vials, and numerous interpretations have been offered. As the sixth vial is poured out, its particular objective is the great Euphrates River. As the result of judgment, the water of the river is dried up and the way of the kings of the East is thereby prepared. The most natural explanation is the best, namely, that this is the judgment which actually dries up the great Euphrates River, thereby preparing for an invasion from the East. These references seem to establish unmistakably the geographic usage in this passage. Alford interprets the passage in this way: In order to understand what we have read, we must carefully bear in mind the context. From what follows under this same vial, we learn that the kings of the whole earth are about to be gathered together to the great battle against God, in which He shall be victorious, and they shall utterly perish. The time is now come for this gathering: This is the only understanding of these words which will suit the context, or the requirements of this series of prophecies. The reasons seem to be weak for taking this prediction in other than its literal meaning. The rising power of parts of the Orient in our day in countries such as Japan, China, India, as well as lesser nations, makes such an invasion a reasonable prediction. In his vision he sees three unclean spirits like frogs in appearance coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. The source of these unclean spirits is the world ruler specified as the beast, his Page 9

associate the beast who is the false prophet, and the dragon himself which is Satan cf. There is no need for speculation as to the identity of the three unclean spirits, as too many commentators have done, attempting to link these spirits to some contemporary personage. They are specified in verse 14 as spirits of demons Gr. These wicked spirits are declared to work miracles cf. While many commentators have agreed that this is the prelude for the great battle climaxing in the second coming of Christ, some have been confused as to the details. What is in view here is something more than a military engagement. It is rather a major war. The evidence, however, seems to point to the conclusion that this is a climax of a series of military events described in Daniel The major problem is how a war is possible when there is a world government under the control of Satan and the beast. Some have interpreted this as a gathering of forces in anticipation of the second coming of Christ. More probably, it reflects a conflict among the nations themselves in the latter portion of the great tribulation as the world empire so hastily put together begins to disintegrate. The armies of the world contending for honors on the battlefield at the very time of the second coming of Christ do all turn, however, and combine their efforts against Christ and His army from heaven when the glory of the second coming appears in the heavens. It will be the final challenge to divine sovereignty and power as the military might of the world of that day will be engaged in fighting on the very day that Christ returns cf. The utterance of verse 15 is apparently a direct quotation from God Himself, though the text does not indicate it specifically. A similar warning is given to the church in Sardis Rev. In 2 Peter 3: The unifying factor in all these passages is that the coming in view results in loss for those who are not ready. Page 10

Chapter 6 : 7 Vials / 7 Bowls of Wrath Picture Gallery - The Book of Revelation 7 Bowls of Wrath Pictures - Revelation Chapters "7 Plagues, which are the last, for with them the wrath of God is finished." Rev And, even, also, namely. From pros and a probable derivative of kuon; to fawn or crouch to, i. He, she, it, they, them, same. From the particle au; the reflexive pronoun self, used of the third person, and of the other persons. An image, likeness, bust. From eiko; a likeness, i. The angel which receives the command departs and pours forth his vial upon the earth. All the vials are poured forth "into the earth" Revelation And there came an evil and painful sore upon the men i. The plague falls on those who carry the mark of the beast, and who worship it. Like the plagues of Egypt, they are directed against those who aid the oppressor. The plague here described resembles the sixth of the Egyptian plagues, the plague of boils comp. Egypt is one type of the world-power; and the plagues are used as types also, and are not to be understood literally. The plague of the "evil sore" denotes some throbbing and hateful sore, perhaps spiritual or mental, which distracts attention and disturbs the personal serenity and self-complacency of the worshippers of the world-power. Pulpit Commentary Verse 2. On "vial," see on Revelation 5: And there fell; and it became Revised Version. Compare the phraseology of Exodus 9: A noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. The counterpart of the sixth plague of Egypt. It is impossible to say with certainty what if any particular judgment upon the ungodly is intended to be signified by St. John in this plague. On the latter part of the verse, see on Revelation Matthew Henry Commentary Here is a succession of terrible judgments of Providence; and there seems to be an allusion to several of the plagues of Egypt. The sins were alike, and so were the punishments. The vials refer to the seven trumpets, which represented the rise of antichrist; and the fall of the enemies of the church shall bear some resemblance to their rise. All things throughout their earth, their air, their sea, their rivers, their cities, all are condemned to ruin, all accursed for the wickedness of that people. No wonder that angels, who witness or execute the Divine vengeance on the obstinate haters of God, of Christ, and of holiness, praise his justice and truth; and adore his awful judgments, when he brings upon cruel persecutors the tortures they made his saints and prophets suffer. Page 11

Chapter 7 : Revelation 16, God's wrath pour out on the earth, vials The second bowl is poured out on the sea, turning the water "into blood like that of a dead person, and every living thing in the sea died" (Revelation ). A third of the sea life had already perished with the sounding of the second trumpet (Revelation ), and now the rest of the sea life is gone. Politically Incorrect, but Biblically correct. Traditional view of how the events of the trumpets and vials, or bowls play out in the book of Revelation that I now reject. Entering into the book of Revelation, I assumed as most, that the trumpets and the vials, or bowls, of Revelation were separate events that happened at separate times, which is a common belief. There are some people who think that the two events trumpets and vials actually happen at the same time, or they happen one after another. After reviewing this claim, I too have become convinced that these events do seem to coincide. A side by side comparison of the seven trumpets and vials will give ample evidence to support this claim: Trumpets and Vials comparison Hail, fire, blood, and trees burnt Soreness for those who had the mark of the beast Revelation 8: Rivers and fountains become undrinkable Rivers become undrinkable turned to blood Revelation 8: Moon and stars are darkened Non-Israel scortched by the sun Revelation 8: Locusts Pain Revelation 9: Drying of the Euphrates Drying of the Euphrates Revelation 9: Thunderings and earthquakes Thundering and earthquakes Revelation I would agree with the statement except for the detail in 5th Vial which clearly states who the ruling party of the earth is during the fifth Vial. I will explain it this way, during the last trumpet of Revelation Now the conclusive proof In Revelation If the beast still had his kingdom here on earth in Revelation So in Revelation 9 and 16 we read about how the Messiah takes the seat of authority away from the beast, and this only happens once. The only logical conclusion is that the trumpets and vials of Revelation happen either at the same time or coincide sequentially one right after another. When we look at the Trumpets and Vials of Revelation from the view point of them happening at the same time or one after another, the Book of Revelation suddenly becomes an easier book to understand and the events become much briefer in time. For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. FYI the word Babylon comes from the word Babel, which of course means confusion. I pray all are having a great summer. Page 12

Chapter 8 : Revelation 15 & 16 The Seven Vials "And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth" (Revelation chapters 15&16). Revelation 16 KJV Commentary 1And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. These seven angels are messengers of wrath bringing pain and destruction. Like the plagues God loosed on ancient Egypt Exodus 7: These plagues are not universal, or man would perish from the earth. This second plague kills every living thing in many of the seas and oceans of the world. In addition to the suffering caused by the extreme heat there will also be other effects. Many streams and rivers will be dried up Joel 1: Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. The world has loved the darkness of error and hated the light of truth so God gives them darkness. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. When the armies of Cyrus the Persian, under his General Darius, overthrew Babylon, they did so by digging channels to divert the water. They drying up of the Euphrates symbolizes a drying up of support for Babylon the Great. The attackers realize that they have been deceived, that they are eternally lost. They are filled with terror and withdraw their support from Babylon and turn on her in rage. Cyrus, the king from the east, became a symbol of Christ the deliverer. Finally the seventh plague destroys the wicked. As the battle of Armageddon commences, God sends great hail on the wicked, and strikes the entire world with a mighty earthquake that levels whole mountain ranges, causing islands to sink beneath the waves and leaves the cities on the earth in ruins. This earthquake takes place in connection with the return of Christ. This article is provided by a third-party source. Providing a third-party article on amazingdiscoveries. Page 13

Chapter 9 : What are the seven bowls/vials of Revelation? Revelation chapter 15 begins the preparation for the last seven vials. The wrath of God began with the seven seals (in chapter 6), and will be finished with the last seven vials. Chapter 15 is an introduction to these last seven and final plagues on mankind. However, the verse goes on to say that they complete the wrath of God. It is not inconsistent with other prophetic scriptures that this series is going over the last 3. They got victory over the beast by giving up their lives rather than worship the beast. Heaven has a different evaluation of their death than the world doesâ victory. The two-fold song of the martyred remnant vv. A reference to the song of Exodus 15, not Deut. They rejoice that the Lord is about to be worshipped by all nations. This is one of the great lessons from Dan. They see through the judgment to the coming blessing. The preparations for the bowl judgments vv. The clothing of the angels speaks of the divine righteousness in which God will judge the world. Girded at the breasts â showing that natural affection mercy for the earth cannot be shown. A vial is a narrow tubeâ a bowl can hold a lot of liquid. Also, They are full. Correlation of trumpets and bowls. There is a high degree of correlation between the trumpets and bowls. The first of each series has to do with the earth, the second with the sea, the third with the rivers and fountains of water, and the fourth with the sun. The seventh in each series is the appearing of Christ. The seventh trumpet is a summary of the Day of the Lord. The seventh bowl is the specific event that will accompany his appearing, namely the destruction of Political Babylon the Beast. However, the correlation between these bowls and trumpets would indicate that the bowls parallel the trumpets. They are included in this judgment. A personal plague on the Egyptiansâ a disgusting and loathsome disease see Deut. Predominantly in a moral sense here, although it may be physical as well. They feel the evil they are under. Perhaps it will be the terrible affliction of a guilty conscience? Souls will either believe the gospel of the Kingdom, or they will apostatize. Natural Sources of Joy are turned to misery Life will be marked by misery and frustration. Now these men are going to get what they have got coming. The angel speaks up as a solemn witnessâ the Lord is righteous for executing this judgment. The Lord has seemed to Slumber for a long time. But now he awakes to avenge the blood of the martyrs. Governmental Apostacy results in oppression Deep Spiritual Darkness Covers the Empire He is reserved for the judgment of the Lord Jesus at his appearing. The darkness originates from the abyss see rev. Men will become decidedly against godâ there will be no more agnostics. The Euphrates is an ancient geographical barrier, a natural separation between the west and the east. The way is now opened for the king of the North to sweep down through israel. Perhaps The barrier is also removed for the Russian confederacy to come down 75 days later. Not only are the western powers arrayed for the war, but the eastern also: The idea of coming as a thief involves unwanted surprise. The Lord will not come for His saints as a thief, but rather as a bridegroom. He will come upon a world morally asleep, but gathered together against god. It is the area in Israel called the valley of Jezreel, or the Plain of Esdraelon, where the Lord will first appear, Isa. This will be the same time that the beast and anti-christ will be taken and cast into the lake of fire by the lord. Also, at this time the angels will go out and gather the tares to be burned. All comes crashing down. Chapter will next be brought in to explain the two aspects of bablyon. The false church has already fallen Rev. The Jewish talent was lbs. This may not be literal hail. From the end of chapter 16, the Book of Revelation picks up chronologically with Rev. Can you provide comments, suggestions, or corrections? Page 14
