2 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up" - Ephesians 4:11-12, NIV INSIDE Redefining Success Things don t always go the way we plan. For Todd and Wendy Gilliland, redefining success has been key to their work in Uganda. 4 Authentic Collaboration Following the call as a couple can be a challenge. This is particularly true when two paths can seem incompatible. Not so for Billie-Jarvis Freeman and Troy Freeman - two called to create. 14 Finding What Clicks Serving in spite of selfdoubt led LCU student Jeff Crosby to more of the healing he sought, and it has helped him minister to others in need of healing. 18 SECTIONS 2 President s Perspective 22 Athletics 27 Alumni News 8 Campus News 24 Campus Life 33 Upcoming Events 12 By the Numbers 26 Christmas in the Chapel RESTORER 1
