1 SURVEY #3: INVENTORY OF HYMNS AND SONGS SUNG DURING THE LAST THREE YEARS United Methodist pastors, worship leaders, and chief musicians were invited to participate in this survey. A total of 408 people completed the survey over the two weeks it was available. It was not open to all United Methodists because of the specialized nature of the information requested. We asked respondents to indicate which hymns and songs in The United Methodist Hymnal (1989) and The Faith We Sing (2000) had been sung 1-4 times and 5 or more times during the preceding three years. The results for both collections have been sorted here alphabetically by title and numerically by frequency.
