1 Winter 2017 ~ Primary Lesson #1 Today your child learned that God wants us to worship Him with our whole hearts. Children heard the story of Hezekiah. They also talked about ways they can worship God each day. God wants us to worship Him with our whole hearts. And when they had finished offering, the king and all who were present with him bowed and worshiped. --2 Chronicles 29:29 (NKJV) 1. Who was Hezekiah? 2. How did Hezekiah worship God? 3. What are some ways you can worship God each day? Enjoy a snack together as you talk and make a list of all the things that have gone well for your child in recent weeks/months. Have fun reminiscing about all of the successes. Then go back and look at each event/item you listed. Who made all of things happen? (GOD did!) Did you remember to praise Him when they happened? Challenge each other to look for God when things happen and when you pray to thank and praise Him for always being there with you. What book was found in the temple? 3. Why was God so pleased with Josiah? Do you think you would have done the same thing? Play a game of Simon Says together, taking turns being Simon.
