1 Tribulation & Ten Toes Of Daniel Part 14 Pastor Grant Williams December 14, 2016 Tonight, we are going to start putting all the pieces together of the Time Of The End biblical time line. This is according to the Book of Daniel which is confirmed by several Old and New Testament books as well. From our study in Gods Word last week into the 490 years mentioned in Daniel Chapter 9, we know that Daniel read Gods Word. He knew based on what God has already said that something was coming - the release of the jewish people from Babylonian captivity in order to rebuild the walls of the city and the temple. Daniel was found praying for this day to come It was during this prayer that the angel of the Lord, Gabriel, appears to Daniel to tell him not just about the rebuilding of the walls and the temple but the coming and crucifixion of the Messiah. 1 of 24

2 Daniel 9:21-22 KJV 21 Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. 22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding. Daniel 9:21-22 AMP 21 Yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the former vision, being caused to fly swiftly, came near to me and touched me about the time of the evening sacrifice. 22 He instructed me and made me understand; he talked with me and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give you skill and wisdom and understanding. Daniel 9:21-22 GNT 21 While I was praying, Gabriel, whom I had seen in the earlier vision, came flying down to where I was. It was the time for the evening sacrifice to be offered. 22 He explained, Daniel, I have come here to help you understand the prophecy. We read and began to break down, line by line, Daniel Chapter 9 last week understanding what Daniel is speaking about when he says 70 weeks are decreed upon or determined upon. 2 of 24

3 Daniel 9:24-27 AMP 24 Seventy weeks [of years, or 490 years] are decreed upon your people and upon your holy city [Jerusalem], to finish and put an end to transgression, to seal up and make full the measure of sin, to purge away and make expiation and reconciliation for sin, to bring in everlasting righteousness (permanent moral and spiritual rectitude in every area and relation) to seal up vision and prophecy and prophet, and to anoint a Holy of Holies. 25 Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem until [the coming of] the Anointed One, a Prince, shall be seven weeks [of years] and sixty-two weeks [of years]; it shall be built again with [city] square and moat, but in troublous times. 26 And after the sixty-two weeks [of years] shall the Anointed One be cut off or killed and shall have nothing [and no one] belonging to [and defending] Him. And the people of the [other] prince who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end shall come with a flood; and even to the end there shall be war, and desolations are decreed. 27 And he shall enter into a strong and firm covenant with the many for one week [seven years]. And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and offering to cease [for the remaining three and one-half years]; and upon the wing or pinnacle of abominations [shall come] one who makes desolate, until the full determined end is poured out on the desolator. From this passage we find the weeks 70 weeks are decreed upon or in the King James determined upon. 3 of 24

4 When I think of a week I think of 7 days, 7 days equals one week. But in Hebrew, weeks also refer to 7 weeks of years or 7 years and not just 7 days. Now, let me explain to you why. In the bible and specifically here in Daniel, the hebrew word for weeks (70 weeks) is shabua (shaw-boo -ah) and it is used 6 times in the book of Daniel. It is used 4 times in Daniel 9:24-26 and 2 times in Daniel 10:2-3. In Daniel Chapter 9, he is not referring to 70 weeks of days which is 490 days (70 7 (day/weeks). Daniel is talking about 490 years here. Once again, weeks means: 7 days or 7 years. (70 weeks = 70, 7 year/weeks = 490 years). We studied the time of the Gentiles as well last week Luke 21:24 King James Version 24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. Romans 11:25 King James Version 25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 4 of 24

5 It is the period of time which begins after Jesus' resurrection but before the promised 1000 years of peace on earth known as the Millennium. Just before the Millennium, there will be a 7 year time period known as the End Times or Tribulation. From the time of Jesus' resurrection to these End Times, is the period of time known as the Time of the Gentiles, a time where Gentiles (individuals from any nation other than Israel) have been given the opportunity to accept Jesus as their Savior. How do we know that the Time of the Gentiles didn t begin until the death of Jesus? Matthew 10:5-7 King James Version 5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. God has allotted a specified period of time for the Gentiles to accept Jesus as their Savior which began at His Resurrection, the start of the New Covenant and continues until the End Times. Galatians 4:4-5 King James Version 4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. 5 of 24

6 This fulness of time refers to the Time of the Jewish people who were under law given by Moses. John 1:17 King James Version 17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. When you read Romans Chapter 11, you ll find that anyone of God s chosen people of Israel can be saved during the Time of the Gentiles as well. The New Covenant (which would include the gentiles) could not begin until the Testator of it Died: Hebrews 9:15-17 King James Version 15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the New Testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. 16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. 17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. The New Testament and the Time of the Gentiles began after the death and resurrection of Jesus. We see that Abraham, who was called by God to become the Father of God's chosen people, was born around 2000 AA (after Adam). If God's chosen people of that time period got from 2000 AA until 4000 AA which is 2000 years then that would suggest that 2000 years would be given as the Time of the Gentiles as well. 6 of 24

7 In short, the Jewish people received a certain amount of time to choose God, but chose their selfish ways instead and then Jesus was sent from Heaven, but the Jewish people did not accept Him as Lord. Their time period stopped and the time of the Gentiles began. The Bible says that at this time all other nations and races (Gentiles) would receive the same amount of time (2000 years) to accept the Lord. When the "Gentiles" time period ends, it will bring about the last "week" or seven year period that we spoke of earlier. This 7 year Tribulation period of time is called... The End Times. It is interesting that in the book of Revelation: o The Antichrist reigns terror for 3 1/2 years (Chapter 13) o The two witnesses prophecy for 3 1/2 years (Chapter 11) o The woman in the wilderness is hidden for 3 1/2 years (Chapter 12)... Is it coincidental that 3 1/2 years is exactly half of 7 years? It is obvious that the End Times are split into two, 3 1/2 year periods (the 7 remaining years from the 490 years). There will be an End Times period for the Gentiles, then a gathering and "Rapture" of those believing Christians. Then an End Times period for the Israelites and a gathering and a "Rapture" for the Jewish believers and those who became Christians during the second 3 1/2 years. 7 of 24

8 Daniel 9:26-27 King James Version 26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. This prophecy tells of "the people of the prince that shall come" (Antichrist's empire) "confirming a covenant" (deal or treaty) with Israel for 7 years, but will break the covenant in the "midst" of the 7 years and set out to destroy Israel. Now, I want to break down this 490 years into it s time increments so everyone understands this because it is very important. Daniel 9:24 KJV 24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. 8 of 24

9 Daniel 9:24 AMP 24 Seventy weeks [of years, or 490 years] are decreed upon your people and upon your holy city [Jerusalem], to finish and put an end to transgression, to seal up and make full the measure of sin, to purge away and make expiation and reconciliation for sin, to bring in everlasting righteousness (permanent moral and spiritual rectitude in every area and relation) to seal up vision and prophecy and prophet, and to anoint a Holy of Holies. It is important to understand how specific this prophecy was and is and when all these increments took place and when will the last 7 year period begin. In order to fully understand this prophetic dream and the importance of it as it relates to the accuracy of Gods Word and the Time of The End, we are going to break down this Biblical prophecy of 70 weeks or 490 years into 4 increments. 70 Weeks - Time Increment #1 The first increment of time mentioned in Daniel Chapter 9 is 7 weeks or 49 years. Daniel 9:25 AMP 25 Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem until [the coming of] the Anointed One, a Prince, shall be seven weeks [of years] 9 of 24

10 70 Weeks - Time Increment #2 The 2nd time increment mentioned in Daniel Chapter 9 is 62 weeks. 62 weeks (of) x 7 years = 434 years. Daniel 9:26 AMP 26 And after the sixty-two weeks [of years] shall the Anointed One be cut off or killed and shall have nothing [and no one] belonging to [and defending] Him 70 Weeks - Time Increment #3 The third time increment is taken by a combining 2 time frame of 62 weeks + 7 weeks. You take the and that equals weeks x 7 equals 483 years. Daniel 9:25 AMP 25 Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem until [the coming of] the Anointed One, a Prince, shall be seven weeks [of years] and sixty-two weeks [of years]; 70 Weeks - Time Increment #4 This fourth and final time increment is the 1 week or 7 year period of time, the tribulation. Daniel 9:27 AMP 27 And he shall enter into a strong and firm covenant with the many for one week [seven years]. And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and offering to cease [for the remaining three and one-half years]; 10 of 24

11 This last week or 7 year period is where we get the concept that is found in Matthew 24:15 and Revelation 11:2, 13:5 of a 7 year tribulation period. This is Daniel 9:27. Daniel 9:27 AMP 27 And he shall enter into a strong and firm covenant with the many for one week [seven years]. And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and offering to cease [for the remaining three and one-half years]; and upon the wing or pinnacle of abominations [shall come] one who makes ( desolate, Daniel 9:27 KJV 27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate This is also found in Revelation Chapter 13. That chapter, chronologically is the middle of the 7 year tribulation when the antichrist goes into Jerusalem. He takes over Jerusalem, kills the 2 witnesses (Rev. 11) and sets himself up in the temple and calls himself god. This means, and I know many people don t believe this, but there will be a time in the very near future when the Jews will be worshiping on the Temple Mount. This has to be true because Gods Word says so 11 of 24

12 Matthew 24:15 KJV 15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) I ve shown more of this passage in the Amplified below to give you a greater understanding of the instruction to the jews about this time in biblical prophetic history. Matthew 24:15-28 AMP 15 So when you see the appalling sacrilege [the abomination that astonishes and makes desolate], spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the Holy Place let the reader take notice and [g]ponder and consider and heed [this] 16 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains; 17 Let him who is on the housetop not come down and go into the house to take anything; 18 And let him who is in the field not turn back to get his overcoat. 19 And alas for the women who are pregnant and for those who have nursing babies in those days! 20 Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation (affliction, distress, and oppression) such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now no, and never will be [again]. 22 And if those days had not been shortened, no human being would endure and survive, but for the sake of the elect (God s chosen ones) those days will be shortened. 23 If anyone says to you then, Behold, here is the Christ (the Messiah)! or, There He is! do not believe it. 12 of 24

13 24 For false Christs and false prophets will arise, and they will show great signs and wonders so as to deceive and lead astray, if possible, even the elect (God s chosen ones). 25 See, I have warned you beforehand. 26 So if they say to you, Behold, He is in the wilderness (desert) do not go out there; if they tell you, Behold, He is in the secret places or inner rooms do not believe it. 27 For just as the lightning flashes from the east and shines and [h]is seen as far as the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be. 28 Wherever there is a fallen body (a corpse), there the vultures (or eagles) will flock together. More confirmation of the jews rebuilding the temple but having it take over by the antichrist 3 1/2 year into the tribulation. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-5 KJV 1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 13 of 24

14 I want to read this passage in the Amplified and we re going to read 7 more verses as well this is preparing us and laying the ground work for our next study in January, Thessalonians 2:1-12 AMP 1 But relative to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) and our gathering together to [meet] Him, we beg you, brethren, 2 Not to allow your minds to be quickly unsettled or disturbed or kept excited or alarmed, whether it be by some [pretended] revelation of [the] Spirit or by word or by letter [alleged to be] from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has [already] arrived and is here. 3 Let no one deceive or beguile you in any way, for that day will not come except the [a]apostasy comes first [unless the predicted great [b]falling away of those who have professed to be Christians has come], and the man of lawlessness (sin) is revealed, who is the son of doom (of perdition),(a) 4 Who opposes and exalts himself so proudly and insolently against and over all that is called God or that is worshiped, [even to his actually] taking his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming that he himself is God.(B) 5 Do you not recollect that when I was still with you, I told you these things? 6 And now you know what is restraining him [from being revealed at this time]; it is so that he may be manifested (revealed) in his own [appointed] time. 14 of 24

15 7 For the mystery of lawlessness (that hidden principle of rebellion against constituted authority) is already at work in the world, [but it is] restrained only until [c]he who restrains is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one (the antichrist) will be revealed and the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath of His mouth and bring him to an end by His appearing at His coming. 9 The coming [of the lawless one, the antichrist] is through the activity and working of Satan and will be attended by great power and with all sorts of [pretended] miracles and signs and delusive marvels [all of them] lying wonders 10 And by unlimited seduction to evil and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing (going to perdition) because they did not welcome the Truth but refused to love it that they might be saved. 11 Therefore God sends upon them a misleading influence, a working of error and a strong delusion to make them believe what is false, 12 In order that all may be judged and condemned who did not believe in [who refused to adhere to, trust in, and rely on] the Truth, but [instead] took pleasure in unrighteousness. Further confirmation in Revelation Chapter 11 Revelation 11:1-5 AMP 1 A reed [as a measuring rod] was then given to me, [shaped] like a staff, and I was told: Rise up and measure the sanctuary of God and the altar [of incense], and [number] those who worship there. 15 of 24

16 2 But leave out of your measuring the court outside the sanctuary of God; omit that, for it is given over to the Gentiles (the nations), and they will trample the holy city underfoot for 42 months (three and one-half years). 3 And I will grant the power of prophecy to My two witnesses for 1,260 (42 months; three and one-half years), dressed in sackcloth. 4 These [witnesses] are the two olive trees and the two lampstands which stand before the Lord of the earth. 5 And if anyone attempts to injure them, fire pours from their mouth and consumes their enemies; if anyone should attempt to harm them, thus he is doomed to be slain. 6 These [two witnesses] have power to shut up the sky, so that no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying (their [a]prediction of events relating to Christ s kingdom and its speedy triumph); and they also have power to turn the waters into blood and to smite and scourge the earth with all manner of plagues as often as they choose. 7 But when they have finished their testimony and their evidence is all in, the beast (monster) that comes up out of the Abyss (bottomless pit) will wage war on them, and conquer them and kill them. 8 And their dead bodies [will lie exposed] in the open street ([b]a public square) of the great city which is in a spiritual sense called [by the mystical and allegorical names of] Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. 9 For three and a half days men from the races and tribes and languages and nations will gaze at their dead bodies and will not allow them to be put in a tomb. 16 of 24

17 10 And those who dwell on the earth will gloat and exult over them and rejoice exceedingly, taking their ease and sending presents [in congratulation] to one another, because these two prophets had been such a vexation and trouble and torment to all the dwellers on the earth. 11 But after three and a half days, by God s gift the breath of life again entered into them, and they rose up on their feet, and great dread and terror fell on those who watched them. 12 Then [the two witnesses] heard a strong voice from heaven calling to them, Come up here! And before the very eyes of their enemies they ascended into heaven in a cloud. 13 And at that [very] hour there was a tremendous earthquake and one tenth of the city was destroyed (fell); seven thousand people perished in the earthquake, and those who remained were filled with dread and terror and were awe-struck, and they glorified the God of heaven. I know this doesn t seem possible right now that the jewish people will get this back because the muslims control the Temple Mount. But, this is going to take place because the antichrist will sign a peace treaty in order for the jews to rebuild a temple there. Daniel 9:27 AMP 27 And he shall enter into a strong and firm covenant with the many for one week [seven years]. And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and offering to cease [for the remaining three and one-half years]; 17 of 24

18 This treaty or covenant will be a false treaty. All of this is related to the war of Gog and Magog found in Ezekiel Chapters 38 and 39. There is an islamic coalition (including Syria) that comes up against Israel. When that happens, the bible says that Israel will burn the enemies weapons for 7 years. Ezekiel 39:9 AMP 9 And [when you, Gog, are no longer] they who dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth and shall set on fire and burn the battle gear, the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, the handspikes or riding whips and the spears; and they shall burn them as fuel for seven years, There is a covenant or 7 year peace treaty is made following the war of Gog and Magog. The islamic nations are so defeated that only a 1/6 of them are left. This is when I believe based on scripture that these nations say we are not going to mess with you - go and build your temple. At this time, the 2 witnesses show up on the prophetic scene, Enoch and Elijah. Revelation 11:3 AMP 3 And I will grant the power of prophecy to My two witnesses for 1,260 (42 months; three and one-half years), dressed in sackcloth. They come for the first 42 months of the tribulation and that is when the temple is rebuilt, during the first 42 months of the tribulation period. At the end of this 42 months is when the antichrist comes in and kills the 2 witnesses that we just read about in Revelation 11:7. 18 of 24

19 So, going back to the 490 years 70 Weeks - Time Increment #1 Daniel 9:25 AMP 25 Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem until [the coming of] the Anointed One, a Prince, shall be seven weeks [of years] From the decree to rebuild the city (in troublesome times) will be 49 years that is 7 weeks of years (7 years x 7=49). We know how long it took from Ezra Chapters 1-6 and Nehemiah Chapters 1-7. It took 49 years to rebuild the walls, temple and the city in troublesome times. 70 Weeks - Time Increment #2 and #3 Daniel 9:26 AMP 26 And after the sixty-two weeks [of years] shall the Anointed One be cut off or killed and shall have nothing [and no one] belonging to [and defending] Him. And the people of the [other] prince who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end shall come with a flood; and even to the end there shall be war, and desolations are decreed. 19 of 24

20 From the time of the completion of the rebuilding of the walls, temple and city to the time where the Messiah is cut off 7 week/ 49 years + 62 weeks/434 years. When you total them together that is 483 years. This is a huge clue, from the rebuild to the time that the Messiah gets cut off/crucified is 69 weeks/483 years (69 x 7 =483). This is the single, greatest time prophecy I believe that is in the entire bible. The specific time that is given proves (and other passages) but this shows the Jesus was and is the Messiah. This is the passage where you prove that prophecy is real. 70 Weeks - Time Increment #4 Daniel 9:27 AMP 27 And he shall enter into a strong and firm covenant with the many for one week [seven years]. And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and offering to cease [for the remaining three and one-half years]; and upon the wing or pinnacle of abominations [shall come] one who makes desolate, until the full determined end is poured out on the desolator. You have the final 7 years. You have a prince that is coming, not the Mashiach, not the one that was cut off for the sins of the people but the antichrist. 20 of 24

21 The final 7 year tribulation is divided into two, 1,260 day periods of time. Or two, 42 months periods of time which is two 3 1/2 years and that totals 7 years on Gods prophetic calendar. Gods prophetic calendar is made up of 360 days in a year not 365 days. This goes back to the lunar solar calendar which is what is being referred to here. Ex: 1260 days divided by 360 days= 3.5 years Revelation 11:2-3 KJV 2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. 3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 22 Revelation 12:6 KJV 6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. Revelation 12:6 AMP 6 And the woman [herself] fled into the desert (wilderness), where she has a retreat prepared [for her] by God, in which she is to be fed and kept safe for 1,260 days (42 months; three and one-half years). Revelation 13:5 KJV 5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. Revelation 13:5 AMP 5 And the beast was given the power of speech, uttering boastful and blasphemous words, and he was given freedom to exert his authority and to exercise his will during forty-two months (three and a half years). Each one of the those 42 month periods is time, times and the dividing of time. Time = one year, Times = 2 years and 1/2 time or dividing of Time = 6 months Daniel 7:25 AMP 25 And he shall speak words against the Most High [God] and shall wear out the saints of the Most High and think to change the time [of sacred feasts and holy days] and the law; 22 of 24

23 and the saints shall be given into his hand for a time, two times, and half a time [three and one-half years]. Daniel 7:25 KJV 25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. Revelation 12:14 AMP 14 But the woman was supplied with the two wings of a giant eagle, so that she might fly from the presence of the serpent into the desert (wilderness), to the retreat where she is to be kept safe and fed for a time, and times, and half a time (three and onehalf years, or 1,260 days). Revelation 12:14 KJV 14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. So, the time that the decree went forth to rebuild Jerusalem and to the time that Jesus was crucified we know from Gods Word that it was 483 years. This record is not just in a couple of books of the bible that we have and can reference but it is also jewish history books. In addition we also have a date from the prophet Haggai 23 of 24
