2 Day 1 August 1st, 2018.for the spiritual condition of the church Declare a holy fast; call a sacred assembly. Summon the elders and all who live in the land to the house of the LORD your God, and cry out to the LORD. Joel 1:14 TODAYS ACTIVITY - Call a church brother or sister to encourage them. Day 2 August 2nd, 2018.Confession of sins ask for forgiveness and the out pouring of the Holy Spirit. They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers. Acts 1:14 TODAYS ACTIVITY Think of someone who may have wronged you and forgive them or ask forgiveness of someone you may have wronged. Day 3 August 3rd, 2018.for Revival & Reformation If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chro 7:14 TODAYS ACTIVITY - Plan a special vespers at home or at church and invite a neighbor to bring in the Sabbath today. 2 17

3 NOTES Day 4 August 4th, to return to the study of the Scriptures You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life. John 5:39-40 TODAYS ACTIVITY - Read a chapter of The Bible Day 5 August 5th, 2018.for unity within the body of Christ They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Acts 2:42-44 TODAYS ACTIVITY - Plan a potluck with members of your church i.e. Sabbath School calls this Sabbath and invite a less fortunate member.. Day 6 August 6th, for souls that are being saved. "Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved TODAYS ACTIVITY - Witness to someone today about Jesus. And remember to do this daily. 16 3

4 Day 7 August 7th, 2018.for an Evangelism Explosion among the Church Members After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. The Believers Share Their Possessions All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. Acts 4:31-32 TODAYS ACTIVITY - Give someone a piece of spiritual literature today. Day 8 PLAN TO PRAY AND FAST FOR AT LEAST EIGHT (8) HOURS TODAY! August 8th, 2018 for. Wisdom to reach the unreached If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. James 1:5 TODAYS ACTIVITY - Donate food, clothes or shoes to someone in need today and don t forget to attend and invite someone to Wednesday night prayer meeting Day 9 August 9th, 2018 for.pastors to affectively lead their Congregations. Day 40 September 9th, 2018.For Spiritual Revival This is what the LORD Almighty says: "In those days ten people from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say, 'Let us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you.'" Zech. 8:23 `TODAYS ACTIVITY - ON THE PRAYER TRAIL Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hat separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the Lord, and to stan before the congregation to minister unto them? TODAYS ACTIVITY - Encourage your pastor today with an , a phone call, a text message or a suggestion or to volunteer your service to help. 4 15

5 Day 37 September 6th, 2018.For Spiritual Leaders to see truth At Caesarea there was a man named Cornelius, a centurion in what was known as the Italian Regiment. 2 He and all his family were devout and Godfearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly. 3 One day at about three in the afternoon he had a vision. He distinctly saw an angel of God, who came to him and said, Cornelius! Cornelius stared at him in fear. What is it, Lord? he asked. The angel answered, Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God. 5 Now send men to Joppa to bring back a man named Simon who is called Peter. 6 He is staying with Simon the tanner, whose house is by the sea. Day 38 September 7th, 2018.For the social ills of the country Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much mor valuable you are than birds! Luke 12:24 TODAYS ACTIVITY - for a special person today. Day 39 September 8th, for our Constitution, that it may always reflect God s original design for marriage. So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Gen. 1:27 TODAYS ACTIVITY that people who are practicing lifestyles that are contrary to God s will be convicted to change. Day 10 August 10th, 2018.For the church to return to The Spirit of Prophecy the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be[a] in you. John 14:17 TODAYS ACTIVITY - Begin to read a book from the Spirit of Prophecy. Day 11 August 11th, 2018.For wisdom for how to retain new members Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:20 TODAYS ACTIVITY - Look for a new member and encourage them, if you are able, invite them to lunch and stay in touch. Day 12 August 12th, For missing members When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, then in later days you will return to the LORD your God and obey him. Deut. 4:30 TODAYS ACTIVITY - Call, or text a missing member of the church. Encourage them and invite them to come out and worship with us. 14 5

6 Day 13 August 13th, 2018.pray for pastors & their families As for other matters, brothers and sisters, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you. 2 Thes 3:1 `TODAYS ACTIVITY - Call, Text or your pastor s wife and/or kids. Let them know how much you appreciate the sacrifice that they have to make having to share the pastor with the church. Day 14 August 14th, 2018 Seek God.pray for people with cancer But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up. Acts 9:40 TODAYS ACTIVITY Visit or call someone you know with cancer, or visit or call someone sick in hospital. Day 15 PLAN TO FAST FOR AT LEAST EIGHT (8) HOURS TODAY! August 15th, For the growth of the work in the family island. So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God. 9 He has saved us and called us to a holy life not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, 2 Tim. 1:8-9 TODAYS ACTIVITY - Donate literature, money, building supplies, time or talent to the work on one of the family islands. Day 34 September 3rd, 2018.For a protection and a reduction in Crime My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. "Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children. Hosea 4:6 `TODAYS ACTIVITY - Thank a law enforcement agent today and witness to him/her about Jesus. Day 35 September 4th, 2018.For Victims of Crime The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call o him in truth. Ps. 145:18-20 TODAYS ACTIVITY OF CARING - Assist in the soup kitchen today or donate food items. Day 36 PLAN TO FAST FOR AT LEAST EIGHT (8) HOURS TODAY! September 5th, For Economic Stability..and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, 5 who through faith are shielded by God s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.: 1 Peter 1:4-6 TODAYS ACTIVITY - Help someone who is in search of a job. 6 13

7 Day 31 August 31st, 2018.For The Government of The Bahamas & The Opposition "because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free. Eph 6:8 TODAYS ACTIVITY - Donate some clothing that you no longer need to the welfare department or give to someone in need. Day 32 September 1st, for the Commissioner of Police "I will defend this city and save it, for my sake and for the sake of David my servant!" Isaiah 37:35 TODAYS ACTIVITY - Ministering to persons who are grieving, Victims of crime General loss of love ones Day 33 September 2nd, For Inmates (Boys & Girls) "You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. Ps. 16:11 TODAYS ACTIVITY OF CARING Do random acts of kindness for young people during the day Day 16 August 16th, 2018.for the revival of Literature Evangelist I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me? Jeremiah 32:11 TODAYS ACTIVITY OF CARING - If possible purchase tracts to distribute to people you come in contact with or buy a book from a literature evangelist. Day 17 August 17th, 2018 for.marriages and Families However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. Eph. 5:33 TODAYS ACTIVITY - Encourage a married couple with a book of devotions for couples/family or even a dinner for two voucher. Day 18 August 18th, 2018 for.adventist Families. But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand Is. 64:8 TODAYS ACTIVITY OF CARING Take food or clothing to a family who is struggling or call the Social Service Dept. to find out how you can help. 12 7

8 Day 19 August 19th, 2018.For the establishment of work where there is no SDA presence. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.15 Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation, [a] spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (whoever reads, let him understand), Matt. 24:14-15 TODAYS ACTIVITY - Support the work of a missionary today, in any way that you can. Day 20 August 20th, 2018.for Religious Liberty I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do noth -ing. John 15:5 TODAYS ACTIVITY Plan a public meeting to witness and share Christ Day 21 August 21st, for the President, Admin. & All Workers in ATCU For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. 2 Tim. 2:7 Day 28 August 28th, 2018.for The Inter-American Division President & Administrative Team But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded. 2 Chron. 15:7 TODAYS ACTIVITY - Read parts of Testimonies to the church. Day 29 PLAN TO FAST FOR AT LEAST EIGHT (8) HOURS TODAY! August 29th, 2018.For the Unions within the ATD & Leaders, Pastors, Wives, Children All the men of Judah, with their wives and children and little ones, stood there before the Lord. 2 Chro 20:13 TODAYS ACTIVITY OF CARING - Attend and Invite a friend to er Meeting Day 30 August 30th, For the residents of All Saints Camp Oh, that I might have my request, that God would grant what I hope for, Job 6:8 TODAYS ACTIVITY - Plan a visit to All Saints Camp and make a donation of food, money or something else that the residents may need. TODAY S ACTIVITY OF CARING If you are able, send a donation of any amount that you can afford to help spread the word through our local Radio & TV Station. 8 11

9 Day 25 August 25th, 2018.For the educational entities in ATCU "The beginning of wisdom is this: Get[a] wisdom. Though it cost all you have,[b] get understanding. Proverbs 4:7 `TODAYS ACTIVITY OF CARING - Start reading and or donate the book Education by Ellen G. White. Day 26 August 26th, 2018.For Health Reform Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that a may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. 3 John 1:2 TODAYS ACTIVITY - Plan to eat wholesome natural foods today and get some form of exercise. Then plan to do it every day. Day 27 August 27th, for sick persons and removal of diseases. If you pay attention to these laws and are careful to follow them, then the Lord your God will keep his covenant of love with you, as he swore to your ancestors...you will be blessed more than any other people; none of your men or women will be childless, nor will any of your livestock be without young. 15 The Lord will keep you free from every disease. He will not inflict on you the horrible diseases you knew in Egypt, but he will inflict them on all who hate you. Deut. 7: TODAYS ACTIVITY Visit a sick and shut in today and pray or them.
