The museum does not provide a guide. We strongly recommend that parents accompany their children through this experience. 9:30 Meet at Glenmont Metro 10:30 Meet at the information Desk 10:45 Museum Orientation Please RSVP and indicate number of people and where you will meet us. Please note that the metro does not run as regularly on Sundays and there might be repairs which will cause delays. There will also be security check lines at the museum which will cause more delay. So we ask that you will be prompt. Metro fare is about $15. 1:00 Leave museum 1:45 Glenmont Metro Please RSVP If you will not accompany your child, please send a permission form th GRADE Tu Bishvat Seder, Sunday, 1/31, 10:00-12:00 Dalet curriculum focuses on Tu Bishvat and Preserving the Environment.
2 We would like to invite the Dalet parents to join us as we celebrate our family Tu Bishvat Seder. All students should wear a white shirt and navy blue or black pants or skirt. Students will arrive at 9:00 with their assigned fruit. Please volunteer for the following: 9:00 am Clean up 11: TH -6 TH GRADE SHABBATON AND SHABBAT SERVICE Friday-Saturday, 2/5-6 Our 5 th and 6 th grade students are invited to a fun filled and educational overnight Shabbaton at BSO. The program is FREE and will be led by Maryana, Lior and some of our best teenagers. We will eat together, pray and play together, build community, create friendships and make wonderful memories of our Hebrew school years. On Shabbat morning, students will lead the service at the main sanctuary. What can you do? Reserve the date. Fill the forms when you get them. Volunteer to shop, cook, feed, serve, clean, set-up, chaperone, etc. Encourage your child to attend. It is a lot of fun and they will make friends for life th, 6 th & 7 th GRADE Sunday, 2/7 World Wide Wrap How wonderful to see all Jews around the world put tefillin on the same day! Parents are invited to join us. Please come and help your child put on his tefillin for the first time. Perhaps you could bring your own tefillin as well? 9:00 We will teach all student how to put on the tefillin. 10:00 Brunch and study for the parents Parents, please join us TH GRADE TALIT PROGRAM 1/19-20 Paper talitot will be sent home 2/7 All paper talitot should be in the office with the name of the student. Please send $18 for the talit. 2/21 Parents are invited. Each family will copy their design on their talit. We will paint, iron, etc. We will do it in 2 shifts. TBD. 3/6 We will tie the tzitzit.
