1 HOW TO ATTRACT A HUSBAND By: Fountain Hendricks Proverbs 31:10 The job of a woman who has a desire to be married is NOT to look for a husband but to attract a husband. Attracting a husband is different from attracting a man because a man is attracted to a woman s flesh but a husband is attracted to a woman s spirit. In order for a man to step into the role of a husband he must cross the bridge of commitment. Ladies, if you have a desire to be married you must remember this Wisdom key A MAN WHO WANTS TO BE A HUSBAND WILL NOT COMMIT TO A WOMAN S FLESH HE WILL ONLY COMMIT TO HER SPIRIT. Most women are very good at attracting men but they are very bad at attracting a husband because they focus on glorifying their flesh instead of purifying their spirit. For

2 example, many women will spend hundreds of dollars on clothes attempting to look their best and they will not spend any time adjusting & correcting their nasty attitude. In order to attract a husband you must change your mindset and disposition. Remember MEN ARE ATTRACTED TO THE FLESH, HUSBANDS ARE ATTRACTED TO THE SPIRIT. WHAT IS A VIRTUOUS WOMAN? Ladies, if you want your man to become your husband you have to become a virtuous woman. Men are attracted to women, husbands are attracted to virtuous women. The difference between men and husbands is their MINDSET. Here s what I mean A man wants to be with a woman. A husband wants to take care of a woman. A man wants to please a woman A husband wants to be in-love with a woman.

3 A man wants to help a woman. A husband wants to serve a woman. Men who have the MENTALITY of a husband are not going to give their pearls to swine, their going to give their pearls to the woman of VIRTUE A virtuous woman is a woman who stands on righteous principles. She believes in doing what is morally right. She defends what is righteous. She speaks out against what is wrong. Virtuous women where the fragrance of EXCELLENCE. Ladies, when you have a spirit of excellence resting on you, you will ATTRACT a husband because men who have the mentality of a husband are looking for excellence, not mediocrity. EXCELLENCE IS NOT PERFECTION, EXCELLENCE IS EXCEPTIONAL (When a man sees you as being rare, he sees a virtuous woman)

4 Ladies, when you can separate yourself away from the crowd, when you can learn how to be different from every other woman you will become a RARE treasure in the eyes of your potential husband. The scripture makes it very clear in Proverbs 31:10, that a virtuous woman is HARD to find. WHEN A MAN FINDS A WOMAN WHO IS RARE HE HAS FOUND HIS WIFE. - F.H HOW TO CLOTHE YOURSELF IN VIRTUE Here are some tips that will help clothe yourself in the garments of virtue so that you can attract a husband. BE A WOMAN OF INTEGRITY: Proverbs 31:11 says that her husband will TRUST her completely". Ladies, when you have the INTEGRITY to do what you say consistently the fragrance of virtue will protrude from your life.

5 BE AN ASSET: Proverbs 31:12 says She does him good and not harm. Ladies, when you are able to ADD more than you take away from a man s life the fragrance of virtue will protrude from you. DON T BE LAZY: Proverbs 31:13 says She looks for wool and flax and LIKES TO WORK with her hands. Ladies, when you are productive, you generate an attractiveness that is contagious to men because men are attracted to progress Being productive will cause the fragrance of virtue to protrude from you. DON T BE SELFISH: Proverbs 31:15 says She gets up while it is still dark and prepares food for her family and feeds her servant girls. Ladies, when you are SELFLESS and not selfish your fragrance of virtue will be extremely profound to the degree that it cannot be ignored. BE ASSERTIVE: Proverbs 31:16 says She inspects a field and buys it, with money she earned, she plants a vineyard. Being assertive reveals the CONTENT OF

6 YOUR INTELLIGENCE. The quality of your intelligence is representative of your virtue. BE CONFIDENT: Proverbs 31:18 says She KNOWS that what she makes is good. A woman of virtue is CONFIDENT and not cocky. It is ADMIRABLE to see a woman who is confident in her own skin. This confidence exudes a fragrance that speaks of righteous virtue. BE RESOURCEFUL: Proverbs 31:19 says She makes thread with her hands and weaves her OWN clothes. Ladies, when you are resourceful you show how brilliant you are. There is nothing more attractive than to encounter a woman with brains and beauty. When a woman knows how to turn 15 cents into a dollar the voice of virtue will speak volumes. BE GENEROUS: Proverbs 31:20 says She welcomes the poor and helps the needy. Ladies, when you are generous you magnify a key component of what a wife

7 looks like because generosity is a fragrance that will attract an open heart. Generosity will edify your future THINK AHEAD: Proverbs 31:21 says She does not worry about her family when it snows, because they all have fine clothes to keep them warm. Ladies, when you are proactive and prepared to handle the issues of life your righteous virtue will speak volumes. MANAGE YOUR CHARACTER: Proverbs 31:25 says She is strong and respected by the people. She looks forward to the future with joy. Ladies, when you are well respected by people your virtue will be magnified exponentially. When a woman is not respected and she carries the weight of a derogatory and negative name it will be very difficult for her to attract a husband. CONTROL YOUR TONGUE: Proverbs 31:26 says She speaks wise words and teaches others to be kind. When a woman talks foolishly she makes herself unappealing and it decreases her righteous virtue that

8 will attract a husband. Speaking wise words is like a perfume that will draw people toward you. Speaking wise words will increase the glory that is already on your life. PROMOTE KINDNESS: Proverbs 31:26 says She speaks wise words and teaches others to be kind. A virtuous woman is kind. She doesn't have an attitude and she is not condescending. She is an example of humility and gentleness which enhances her virtue and makes her more attractive and approachable. DON T WASTE TIME: Proverbs 31:27 says She watches over her family and never waste time. A virtuous woman honors time because she understands that it is the most important asset we have. A virtuous woman does not procrastinate and her respect for time makes her highly productive. A productive woman will be a sought after woman.

9 RESPECT THE LORD: Proverbs 31:30 says Charm can fool you and beauty can trick you, but a woman who respects the Lord should be praised.
