14 HOW TO KNOW YOU ARE SAVED AND GOING TO HEAVEN Admit that you are a sinner. ROMANS 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Be willing to turn from sin and repent. ACTS 17:30-31 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried and rose from the grave. ROMANS 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. In prayer, invite Jesus into your life to be your personal savior. ROMANS 10:13 For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved Dear God, WHAT TO PRAY I know that I am a sinner, and because of that sin, I am seperated from God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay for my sins and offer me forgiveness, that He rose again from the dead, and that He wants an eternal relationship with me. I am willing to turn from sin, and surrender my life to Jesus. I want to put my faith in Jesus alone. Please come into my life to be my Lord and Savior. If you have trusted Jesus as your savior then you have just begun a wonderful new life with Him! Seek first the Kingdom of God... Matthew 6:33 Read the Bible daily to get to know Jesus better. Talk to God in prayer every day. Be baptized, worship, and fellowship with other Christians in a church where Christ is preached and the Bible is the final authority.
15 How To Grow In Your Christian Walk 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. GALATIANS 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. OBEDIENCE TO CHRIST ROMANS 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. JOHN 14:21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him. BIBLE STUDY 2 TIMOTHY 3:16-17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. JOSHUA 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. PRAYER JOHN 15:7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. PHILLIPPIANS 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. FELLOWSHIP HEBREWS 10:24-25 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. MATTHEW 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them. WITNESSING MATTHEW 4:19 Then He said to them, Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men. ROMANS 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
16 Statement of Faith We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth; in His sinless life; in His miracles; in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood; in His bodily resurrection; in His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and in His personal return in power and glory. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential, and that repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to come into a relationship with God. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. We believe His power and gifts are available to believers today. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. We believe it is important to uphold the Scriptural practices of the early church. Therefore, we hold to the practice of water baptism and the regular taking of communion. We do not believe that either of these practices are essential for salvation, but that they serve as a demonstration of our living faith in Christ.
