1 Official translation 08 December 2010 Draft GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA RESOLUTION No of 8 December 2010 ON THE APPROVAL OF MEASURES FOR COMMEMORATION OF THE YEAR OF REMEMBRANCE OF LITHUANIAN CITIZENS HOLOCAUST VICTIMS Vilnius For the purpose of the implementation of Article 2 of Resolution No XI-1017 of the Seimas of the of 21 September 2010 declaring the Year the Year of Remembrance of n Citizens Holocaust Victims (Valstybės žinios (Official Gazette) No , 2010), the Government of the h a s r e s o l v e d : 1. to approve the Measures for Commemoration of the Year of Remembrance of n Citizens Holocaust Victims (as appended). 2. to establish that the measures shall be implemented within the financial possibilities of the State from the allocated in the budget of the, European Union (hereinafter referred to as the EU) funds, municipal budgets and other legally obtained funds. 3. to instruct the Prime Minister to hold in quarterly meetings of the Working Group set up by ordinance No 367 of the Prime Minister of the of 14 October 2010 to discuss progress reports by institutions responsible for the implementation of the Measures Marking the Year of Remembrance of the n Citizens, the Victims of the Holocaust for. 4. to propose to the institutions implementing the Measures for Commemoration of the Year of Remembrance of n Citizens Holocaust Victims to cooperate with foreign partners, inviting them to contribute to the implementation of measures marking the Year of Remembrance of n Citizens Holocaust Victims. 5. to recommend that municipalities pay special attention in to cleaning Holocaust memorial sites and Jewish cemeteries, as well as make inventory and registration thereof in the Real Estate Register. 6. to propose to the President of the, Seimas of the, of, in 1
2 , the n Institute of History, Vilnius University, the Centre for Studies of the Culture and History of East European Jews, the Jewish Culture and Information Centre, the n Radio and Television, the Jewish, municipalities, and other bodies to contribute to the commemoration of the n citizens, who fell victims to the Holocaust.
