The Oneness Of Elohim Men have struggled for ages to understand the nature of Elohim. It is a struggle that exists within ourselves, because we really have a limited capability to understand on our own. As finite beings living in a physical world, we must accept the fact that there are things that are beyond our comprehension and our ability to define. There are things that we will never be able to fully understand. Our physical minds have limitations and trying to understand deep spiritual principles, with a purely physical mind, will not work. If we do not understand who the Father and Son are, who and what the Ruach (Spirit) is and how they all relate to Elohim, how can we possibly know whom to worship and whom to address our prayers to? How can we develop the close, intimate relationship that YHVH desires to have with us, if we do not understand who YHVH is? We are to have no other mighty ones (Elohim) before Him. We have to relate and communicate with Him and that requires that we understand who He is. Is it impossible to understand the nature of Elohim? Many people believe that it is. They are content to have a relationship with an Elohim of their own making; something that they can relate to and understand on their own terms. They have Elohim all wrapped up neatly into a package that they can understand and make sense of. They define YHVH and Yeshua for their own selves, according to their own understanding. Elohim does things on His own terms and as it pleases Him, whether we understand it or not. We have to meet Him on His terms and with the knowledge that He provides us with; that is the ONLY way that we will ever understand and gain insight into who, He truly is. Exodus 20:1-3 1 And Elohim spoke all these Words, saying, 2 I am יהוה your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, out of the house of slavery. 3 You have no other mighty ones against My face. It IS important that we understand who YHVH is, because it is only Him that we are to worship and no other! Nothing is to come between us and Him nothing and nobody! He desires our worship, our appreciation and our love He does not want that to go to another. He wants to be recognized by us, for who He is! He wants us to recognize that it is He who freed us and He who provides for us. He is the one who planned and put all things into place. He made us for a reason and we are to look to Him alone. None other is to receive the worship that belongs to Elohim. Deuteronomy 5:6-7

6 I am יהוה your Elohim who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, out of the house of bondage. 7 You have no other mighty ones against My face. There are some things here that need to be explored and there are some answers that need to be sought after, because there are some passages in scripture that would appear to conflict with one another. There are no conflicts within the Word of YHVH. If there is an apparent contradiction, then we must search the scriptures for an answer and pray for understanding. Abba does not hold back from us, He wants us to understand and learn. He wants us to know who He is. That is one of the reasons we are given the Ruach (Spirit), so that we have discernment and can begin to understand things from a spiritual perspective, instead of from a purely physical standpoint. We are able to go beyond the physical limitations of our minds. Matthew 14: And Kĕpha answered Him and said, Master, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water. 29 And He said, Come. And when Kĕpha had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to.יהושע 30 But when he saw that the wind was strong, he was afraid. And beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, Master, save me! 31 And immediately יהושע stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and said to him, O you of little belief, why did you doubt? 32 And when they came into the boat, the wind ceased. 33 And those in the boat came and did bow to Him, saying, Truly You are the Son of Elohim. This appears to be a contradiction, does it not? YHVH said that He is Elohim and there are to be no other mighty ones before Him, or against His face yet here we see the taught ones bowing down and worshiping Yeshua! How can that be? Is this a violation of what YHVH said about Himself? Were the taught ones breaking Torah and was Yeshua accepting worship that belonged only to YHVH? One of the most difficult things to define, for those who believe in the Elohim of Yisrael, is the very nature of Elohim. People struggle and they wrestle with trying to understand the relationship between Elohim, YHVH, Yeshua and the Ruach. Who do we pray to? Who is the Savior? Who is returning to this earth? Who dwells within us? How do we relate to them? Does each one exist independently of the other? Do they share a common bond? Those are questions we ask ourselves and there must be answers. There are subjects within scripture that challenge us to think on different levels and to use our minds in a completely different way. The oneness of Elohim is one of those subjects. In order to understand something on his own terms, man attempts to define the issue according to his own understanding that is doomed to failure. Some people cannot accept the idea of an intelligent creator who placed everything we know

and understand into being, so they create their own version of how the world came to be and how everything developed to the point it is at today. The wholeness and oneness of Elohim has to be spiritually discerned. I know that there are some that will not believe that, but the fact remains that our understanding is all based on our senses and what we determine and fix as boundaries. With our physical minds alone, we can only hope to try and understand the physical things that are in place in this world and even much of the physical defies our ability to define, and fully understand it. In order to understand things of a spiritual nature, we have to think, understand and reason in a spiritual way we have to use the Ruach, the Spirit that exists within those who are the true believers and worshipers of Elohim. 1 Corinthians 2:14 14 But the natural man does not receive the matters of the Spirit of Elohim, for they are foolishness to him, and he is unable to know them, because they are spiritually discerned. This is an incredibly revealing statement that Sha ul makes here! He is giving us a huge clue into understanding Elohim, and Sha ul understood this important truth! We cannot do it with our natural mind alone. The human mind that each of us possess is capable of amazing things, but alone, it cannot comprehend and understand the things of Elohim. Our minds have to connect with the Spirit of Elohim and only then, will we truly begin to understand. The reason that we struggle to understand the spiritual relationships that exist and the wholeness and oneness of Elohim, is because we try to think and reason in our own physical terms. Elohim is not bound by the physical world! YHVH exists outside of time and the physical laws that we are bound by. He created and put into place, the physical laws of this world that we live in! We are limited to the physical world that we are born into and all that we know and understand is contained within it. One of the lies of the adversary, in the garden, is that by eating of the tree forbidden to them, Adam and Havvah (Eve) would be able to have the mind of Elohim. That is a blatant lie and man is still under that deception to this day. To help us understand the relationships that exist in the dwelling place of Elohim, He gave us physical relationships as a type. The relationship between YHVH and Yeshua is always related to us in the terms of Father and Son. As physical people, that is a relationship that we can understand, because it is a relationship that exists in our physical world. When we see a father and a son, we instantly know and understand the relationship being spoken of and what it means. They are related and the son comes from the father. We have a physical example that we can connect the relationship to.

However, if we become mired in the snare of trying to understand these relationships purely from a physical standpoint, then we will fail to put all of the pieces together. It is in the same way that Torah is supposed to lead us to a spiritual walk, instead of a strictly physical form of observance and obedience. The oneness of Elohim is a very complex topic for many people and it can also become a snare when a person spends all of their time picking at and stumbling over nuances. Scripture always provides answers, if we are willing to seek, if we are willing to accept them and if we remain humble and teachable. If we become dogmatic and locked into a belief system of our own making, we can never grow and progress. We create a set of self-imposed boundaries and limits for ourselves. There will be times that the things that Father reveals to you, will cause you to readjust and realign what you know and understand, to remain in harmony with His Word. We must be willing to remove and rid ourselves of preconceptions and errors and seek answers without prejudice. When man seeks to define what he cannot understand, on his own terms, it can only lead to error, blindness and even more confusion. The doctrine of the trinity, is just one example of man s attempt to define the nature of the relationship between YHVH, Yeshua and the Ruach HaKodesh (holy, or set-apart spirit). It reveals the fallacy of human reasoning applied to spiritual concepts and the limitations of trying to explain spiritual concepts with only a limited physical understanding. How can that which was created, define Him who performed the act of creating? How can that which was raised from the dust and formed and shaped, understand the Elohim who formed even the dust that man was created from? If we are to comprehend the nature of Elohim, then it must be by looking through the spiritual understanding and wisdom we receive from our Creator. Anything that we conceive and reason on our own apart from that will be false. Our minds were designed by Him, so that it is only by coming into a relationship with Him and joining with His Spirit, that we can ever receive the understanding of who He is and how He is. By carefully examining the written word and under the guidance of the Ruach, we can begin to come to an understanding about Elohim. Is it possible to ever come to a full and complete understanding? Yes, when we enter the Kingdom and all things are revealed to us! Until then, we can only come to see and understand what is given to us through the Spirit of Elohim. We are limited by our physical bodies our physical minds. There is only so much knowledge that can be revealed to us at a time; our minds cannot take it all in at once and our level of understanding is proportional to where we are in our spiritual walk. If we desire to truly know Him we must seek Him. If we seek Him diligently, and with a pure and honest motive, He will reveal Himself to us. Genesis 1:3-4

3 And Elohim said, Let light come to be, and light came to be. 4 And Elohim saw the light, that it was good. And Elohim separated the light from the darkness. The words of Elohim are full of power; His words cause things to happen. Elohim speaks words and His words set things into action. The Light is spoken into being how can that be? The Light that Elohim brings forth is not a physical light in the nature of sunlight, or daylight. The sun, moon and stars had not yet been set into their places. What is darkness? It is the absence of light. Elohim speaks to bring forth The Light and The Light counteracts and drives back the darkness! The Light is a manifestation of Elohim it is an aspect of Elohim it is a part of Elohim. The Light is brought forth and evoked by Elohim. It is put into place by Elohim. The Light cannot exist without Elohim it is in the presence of Elohim. There is Elohim, The Word and The Light, that is how it begins. At the beginning of the creation account, it is only the name of Elohim that is used. Elohim is the completeness and oneness, and power, but with different aspects. The name Elohim, is giving us insight into the nature of Elohim. Elohim is the plural form of the name Eloah, or El. The name Elohim is not referring to more than one, there is only one El. The plural form of the name refers to the different aspects, elements and forms of El, all of the things that make up El. The big events and decisions that are recorded for us in scripture, are always accompanied by the name Elohim. It is the completeness and oneness of Elohim that made decisions, initiated action and put things into place. There was consensus, agreement and harmony. Beginning in the second book of Bereshit (Genesis), we begin to see YHVH referred to as Elohim. Genesis 2:4 4 These are the births of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that יהוה Elohim made earth and heavens. Is YHVH Elohim? Yes, He is a part of Elohim, He is Elohim made manifest in the form of YHVH. YHVH is one with Elohim. Was YHVH present at creation? Yes, He was He is the One who spoke The Light into being! He is the One who caused man to be formed from the dust and live. YHVH is Elohim manifested in a form that can create and interact with man. Genesis 2:7 7 And יהוה Elohim formed the man out of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils breath of life. And the man became a living being.

Elohim is the source and the core, from which everything emanates and is attached. Elohim encompasses all and is all. Elohim is the base and the foundation and the power source, from which everything else comes from. The Shema reveals the basic information and understanding that we need, to begin to know and understand the nature of Elohim. Deuteronomy 6:4 4 Hear, O Yisra ĕl: יהוה our Elohim, יהוה is one! What can we take away from this statement? Hear: pay attention, take heed and understand. Yisrael: Who is supposed to hear? We are! The people that belong to YHVH. YHVH our Elohim: YHVH is our Elohim, He is our personal Elohim; He is our mighty one. YHVH is the personal Elohim of Yisrael. YHVH is one: there is not more than one YHVH. The personal name can only apply to one and He is the Elohim of Yisrael. Isaiah 45: Yisra ĕl shall be saved by יהוה with an everlasting deliverance. You are not to be ashamed nor hurt, forever and ever. 18 For thus said,יהוה Creator of the heavens, He is Elohim, Former of earth and its Maker, He established,יהוה it, He did not create it to be empty, He formed it to be inhabited: I am and there is none else. This is plain and direct to the point, He IS YHVH and there is no one else. We are to have no OTHER mighty ones before Him! So, who is Isaiah speaking about here that is the Former of the earth and it s Maker? YHVH, and he says YHVH is Elohim. YHVH is the Elohim of Yisrael. YHVH is the Elohim that related and communicated with Yisrael on a personal basis. He is the defender and protector of Yisrael. He is the provider and He watches over Yisrael. YHVH is an aspect of Elohim a part of Elohim that is manifested as YHVH. Isaiah 45: Turn to Me and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am Ěl, and there is none else. 23 I have sworn by Myself, a word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, so that to Me every knee shall bow, every tongue swear. Here in this passage, when He is speaking to the entire world, notice how the form El is used. He wants it to be understood that He is THE EL, THE MIGHTY ONE (singular) of the world. There is a similar passage that is used to describe Yeshua. How can we reconcile this scripture from Isaiah, with what is said about Yeshua?

Philippians 2: Elohim, therefore, has highly exalted Him and given Him the Name which is above every name, 10 that at the Name of יהושע every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and every tongue should confess that יהושע Messiah is Master, to the esteem of Elohim the Father. El says that besides Him there is no other! Yet, here we see that every knee will bow and every tongue confess Yeshua the same thing that was said about El in Isaiah 45! How can that be? Does scripture contradict itself? Does El contradict Himself? We have to conclude that Yeshua is a part of Elohim, just as YHVH is a part of Elohim! When Mosheh asks for a name to give to Yisrael, notice what he is told. This is Elohim speaking here to Mosheh, the completeness, oneness and wholeness of the Creator in His different aspects. Exodus 3: And Elohim said to Mosheh, I am that which I am. And He said, Thus you shall say to the children of Yisra ĕl, I am has sent me to you. 15 And Elohim said further to Mosheh, Thus you are to say to the children of Yisra ĕl, יהוה Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of A raham, the Elohim of Yits a, and the Elohim of Ya aqov, has sent me to you. This is My Name forever, and this is My remembrance to all generations. He calls himself Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, I am who I am, or I will be who I will be. That is a clue to the nature of Elohim. He is who He says He is and He will be whatever He declares Himself to be. He has always been and He will continue to be. He is in complete and total control and He appears and does as He pleases. During an encounter in Jerusalem, Yeshua says something very interesting. John 8: The Yehu im, therefore, said to Him, You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen A יהושע raham? 58 said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, before A raham came to be, I am. 59 Therefore they picked up stones to throw at Him, but יהושע was hidden and went out of the Set-apart Place, going through the midst of them, and so passed by. Yeshua used the same words, He called Himself the I am. That is why they came after Him to stone Him, they considered His words blasphemy, because He was placing Himself on the same level as Elohim! Why would He make such a statement and why would He make such a claim, unless He had the authority? They could not see past

their own limited physical minds and reasoning and so they rejected Him and wanted to kill Him. A part of Elohim was manifested in the flesh right before their very eyes and they could not recognize, or understand what they were seeing and hearing! The human mind alone cannot discern these things. Philippians 2:5-8 5 For, let this mind be in you which was also in Messiah,יהושע 6 who, being in the form of Elohim, did not regard equality with Elohim a matter to be grasped, 7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, and came to be in the likeness of men. 8 And having been found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, death even of a stake. Sha ul clearly understood the nature of Elohim and how He is able to manifest himself as it pleases Him and serves His purpose. Notice verse 6, Yeshua was in the form of Elohim and did not have to grasp, or seek after equality why? Because he was already one with Elohim! Yeshua is also echad (one) with YHVH and Elohim. They are all part of the plural nature that makes up Elohim. What about the relationship between YHVH and Yeshua? The relationship between YHVH and Yeshua is always described as a Father and a Son. Elohim put the family relationship in place for man, so that man could relate the physical family relationship, with the relationship between YHVH and Yeshua. The physical things are put in place to teach us and help us to understand the spiritual things. The relationship between man and woman was ordained and put into place by Elohim. Man and woman were created as one (echad) and then were separated. Elohim did not form a separate person who became woman. He took the woman from the man. They were to join together and become one (echad) again. Man and woman come together and when they are as one, they can create life. That is a spiritual principle and an insight into spiritual relationships. Abba left us with clues, if we will look for them and understand them! Man and woman are to become as one, they are to be so close as to be one flesh. Does that explain something about the relationship between YHVH and Yeshua? Can two be one? Can they be one in thought, intent and purpose? Can there be a oneness in every way from two? Can they be part of one another? The cells of the human body are individual units that function on their own. They serve out their purpose and function, yet they are part of something bigger, they are one (echad) with the body. The body tells the cells what to do and the cells do the job they are given. They are separate entities, but still part of the body and do not function without the body.

Your arm functions independently from your body, but it is still a part of your body. It is echad with the rest of your body. Your arm and fingers move around independently, you do not even have to think about it, but you are aware of it you know what your arm and fingers are doing and they are receiving their commands from you. We are given examples of echad and what it means, and how it works if we just look and see. Isaiah 43: You are My witnesses, declares,יהוה And My servant whom I have chosen, so that you know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no Ěl formed, nor after Me there is none. 11 I, I am saved, and besides Me there is no savior. 12 I, I have declared and,יהוה and made known, and there was no foreign mighty one among you. And you are My witnesses, declares,יהוה that I am Ěl. 13 Even from the day I am He, and no one delivers out of My hand. I work, and who turns it back? 14 Thus said,יהוה your edeemer, the Set-apart One of Yisra ĕl, For your sake I shall send to Ba el, and bring them all down as fugitives, even the Chaldeans, who rejoice in their ships. 15 I am,יהוה your Set-apart One, Creator of Yisra ĕl, your Sovereign. This presents us with a dilemma YHVH says that He is the savior. No one less than YHVH then, can be your savior! YHVH then goes on to say that He is El an El that was formed can YHVH lie? YHVH says that He is the redeemer! No one less than YHVH then, can be your redeemer. Who other than YHVH then, can perform these things and be these things? Who other than YHVH can make these claims? We are told that there is only one savior. Many people believe that Yeshua cannot be the Mashiach (Messiah), because there can only be one savior and it is YHVH. But, that is making assumptions about the nature and oneness of Elohim and the relationship between YHVH and Yeshua. If YHVH and Yeshua are as one and they are united, and Yeshua says that He is in the Father and the Father is in Him can Yeshua not be the Savior? Can Yeshua not be the redeemer? It is NOT blasphemy. Hosea 13:4 4 But I am יהוה your Elohim since the land of Mitsrayim, and an Elohim besides Me you shall not know, for there is no Savior besides Me. Accepting Yeshua as the Savior and Redeemer is not knowing another Elohim it is learning and growing, and coming into knowledge about the aspects of The Elohim whom we are to serve! If we do not know and understand Elohim, we run the risk of rejecting The Savior and The Redeemer and then where does that leave us? YHVH and Yeshua are both Savior and both Redeemer, because they are one.

Luke 2: And the messenger said to them, Do not be afraid, for look, I bring you good news of great joy which shall be to all people. 11 Because there was born to you today in the city of Davi a Savior, who is Messiah, the Master. 12 And this is the sign to you: You shall find a baby wrapped up, lying in a feeding trough. Is this a lie? Have we been deceived? If YHVH says that He is the only Savior and scripture tells us that Yeshua is the Savior, which is it? How can they be separate? How can they be independent of one another? If they were that WOULD be a contradiction! The Father and Son work together, they are part of one another and they are united in thought, action and purpose they function as one. That is echad! John 14:9 said to him, Have I been with you so long, and you have not known יהושע 9 Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father, and how do you say, Show us the Father? How could Yeshua make this statement? How could anyone who saw Him, also see the Father? Was Yeshua YHVH made manifest in a fleshly body? How else could He say by looking upon Him, they had also seen the Father? It was NOT a metaphorical statement! Think about this YHVH must have a way to relate to man. He has to make Himself known to man in a form that he (man) can understand and relate to. We have to think beyond our physical world...we HAVE to think and understand on a spiritual level. Psalms 45:6-7 6 Your throne, O Elohim, is forever and ever; The scepter of Your reign Is a scepter of straightness. 7 You have loved righteousness and hated wrongness; Therefore Elohim, Your Elohim, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions. Who can Elohim be speaking to here? Is there more than one Elohim? We have already seen that there is only one Elohim. There is a plurality of the nature and aspects of Elohim. How can Elohim be speaking to Elohim? How can Elohim possibly be calling someone else Elohim? If there is more than one aspect to Elohim, they are all still part of Elohim. One part of Elohim, speaking to another part of Elohim, would still call that part Elohim. Two different aspects of Elohim are both still Elohim. Torah tells us that Mosheh spoke to YHVH face to face and not only that, but that He spoke to him as a friend. In order to speak to Mosheh face to face, YHVH had

to appear in a form that Mosheh could relate to! He had to appear to Mosheh in a way that he could understand! Exodus 33: And Mosheh took his tent and pitched it outside the camp, far from the camp, and called it the Tent of Meeting. And it came to be that everyone who sought יהוה went out to the Tent of Meeting which was outside the camp. 8 And it came to be, whenever Mosheh went out to the Tent, that all the people rose, and each man stood at his tent door and watched Mosheh until he entered the Tent. 9 And it came to be, when Mosheh entered the Tent, that the column of cloud descended and stood at the door of the Tent, and He spoke with Mosheh. 10 And all the people saw the column of cloud standing at the Tent door, and all the people rose and bowed themselves, each one at the door of his tent. 11 Thus יהוה spoke to Mosheh face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. And he would return to the camp, but his servant Yehoshua son of Nun, a young man, did not leave the Tent. Why did Yehoshua remain behind and stay in the tent? Was he being taught fact to face as well? Was he being prepared to take over as leader from Mosheh? When Mosheh was up on the mountain, he could only look upon the backside of Elohim. Since man could not look upon YHVH and live, YHVH needed to appear in a form that would allow Him to communicate with man and not kill him. There had to be an intermediate form, or shape, that would allow Him to relate to man one on one. Exodus 33: But He said, You are unable to see My face, for no man does see Me and live. 21 And יהוה said, See, there is a place with Me! And you shall stand on the rock. 22 And it shall be, while My esteem passes by, that I shall put you in the cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand while I pass by. 23 Then I shall take away My hand and you shall see My back, but My face shall not be seen. First we are told that Mosheh spoke face to face with YHVH, but then, just a few short verses later, we see that no man could look upon YHVH and live is this a contradiction? Mosheh was a man, so how could he speak face to face with YHVH and not die? YHVH told Moshe, that there was a place with Him, or a place where he would be safe and he was to stand on the rock and be covered. What is the significance of the rock spoken of in this passage? Who is always represented by a rock in scripture? Yeshua! It is the rock here, who provides protection and safety for Mosheh! What happens to those who do not have the protection of the rock?

Numbers 12:6-8 6 And He said, Hear now My words: If your prophet is of,יהוה I make Myself known to him in a vision, and I speak to him in a dream. 7 Not so with My servant Mosheh, he is trustworthy in all My house. 8 I speak with him mouth to mouth, and plainly, and not in riddles. And he sees the form of Mosheh? So why were you not afraid to speak against My servant.יהוה Once again, we are faced with an apparent contradiction here! YHVH says that He speaks to Mosheh mouth to mouth, yet as we just saw, no man could look upon YHVH and live. YHVH also says something very significant here Mosheh sees the form of YHVH! What is the form of YHVH? It is the form in which He is able to appear and relate to man. What form did He appear in? There is a form in which He can appear that allows Him to speak to man without killing Him by His presence. Is that form Yeshua? As he journeyed back home, who was it that Ya acov encountered when he was left alone? Who was it that wrestled with Ya acov? Who could appear in the form of a man and physically struggle with a human being? Genesis 32:24 24 And Ya aqov was left alone. And a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day. Ya acov wrestled with a man; the Hebrew word in this passage is ish. There was a physical man to man struggle. Who did Ya acov wrestle with? Who appeared and spoke to him? Was it just a Mal ak (Messenger, Angel)? Or something more? Genesis 32: So He asked him, What is your name? And he said, Ya aqov. 28 And He said, Your name is no longer called Ya aqov, but Yisra ĕl, because you have striven with Elohim and with men, and have overcome. 29 And Ya aqov asked Him, saying, Please let me know Your Name. And He said, Why do you ask about My Name? And He blessed him there. 30 And Ya aqov called the name of the place Peni ĕl, For I have seen Elohim face to face, and my life is preserved. We are not told if a name is given to Ya acov, or what that name is if it was given to him, but we are told that Ya acov has striven, or struggled with Elohim. Ya acov understands who this is, because he says that he saw Elohim face to face and lived what did we read about Mosheh earlier? Elohim said that no man could look upon Him and live. Does Elohim lie? No, so who was this who appeared to Ya acov and

wrestled with him man to man? It is a form that Elohim took on, to appear and relate to man. Who was YHVH in the flesh who related to man? Elohim also appeared and spoke to Abraham and He called Abraham His friend. Abraham had a face to face relationship with Elohim. Elohim was in a form that Abraham could relate to and speak with. Who was it that actually appeared and spoke to Abraham? Genesis 17:1-3 יהוה 1 And it came to be when A ram was ninety-nine years old, that appeared to A ram and said to him, I am Ěl Shaddai walk before Me and be perfect. 2 And I give My covenant between Me and you, and shall greatly increase you. 3 And A ram fell on his face, and Elohim spoke with him, saying, There is only one, who came in the power and authority of YHVH. There is only one, who spoke of being one with the Father. There is only one who could claim to be the I AM. There is only one, who could speak with absolute knowledge and understanding. There is only one, who could give Himself to redeem all of mankind. There is only one who could be a savior. Yeshua had the power and the authority to lay down His life and to receive it back again. How can a man of flesh have the power to lay down his life and receive it? We accept and recognize that YHVH has the power to take life and to restore it how can Yeshua make this claim? How can He so confidently state that He has this authority? There is no doubt or question in Him! John 10: Because of this the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life, in order to receive it again. 18 No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to receive it again. This command I have received from My Father. Yeshua has been given the power and authority to raise men in the resurrection to come. Yeshua raised Lazarus though he lay dead and was in his tomb and his body was already decomposing from where does he receive that power? John 5: Truly, truly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of Elohim. And those having heard shall live. 26 For as the Father possesses life in Himself, so He gave also to the Son to

possess life in Himself, 27 and He has given Him authority also to do judgment, because He is the Son of A am. 28 Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the tombs shall hear His voice, 29 and shall come forth those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have practiced evil matters, to a resurrection of judgment. 30 Of Myself I am unable to do any matter. As I hear, I judge, and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own desire, but the desire of the Father who sent Me. Why is Yeshua unable to do anything by Himself? He does not act alone without the Father! The Father SENT Him! They are one and in unity complete unity one in mind, thought and action! Yeshua does nothing apart from the Father. They are echad there is oneness. Yeshua was able to impart power and authority to His taught ones. If He were just flesh and blood, how was that possible? How could any physical, human being, place that kind of power within another person? Matthew 10:1 1 And having called His twelve taught ones near, He gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every bodily weakness. Yeshua possessed power and authority, unlike any other fleshly person who has ever lived. He had control over the elements and over life and death itself! What man could heal someone from a distance and then have the confidence to tell the man who had requested the healing of Him, that it was done? What man can command the wind, or raise someone from his tomb, even though he had been dead for three days? Who is able to do such things? Who possesses such power? Matthew 8: And when He entered into a boat, His taught ones followed Him. 24 And see, a great gale arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered by the waves. But He was sleeping. 25 And His taught ones came to Him and woke Him up, saying, Master, save us! We are perishing! 26 And He said to them, Why are you afraid, O you of little belief? Then, having risen, He rebuked the winds and the sea. And there was a great calm. 27 And the men marveled, saying, What is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him? The evil spirits recognized Yeshua and knew Him for who He was. They knew where He came from and they knew the power He possessed over them. They also

knew that there was a time coming when they were to be dealt with and that Yeshua was a part of that future event. Matthew 8: And when He came to the other side, to the country of the Girgashites, two demon-possessed ones met Him, coming out of the tombs, very fierce, so that no one was able to pass that way. 29 And see, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with You,,יהושע Son of Elohim? Have You come here to torture us, before the appointed time? YHVH declares here, that there is a messenger who will prepare the way for Him. Who is the Master that came to the temple? Who is the messenger of the covenant in whom we delight? Who lives to do the Father s will? Who is one with the Father? Malachi 3:1 1 See, I am sending My messenger, and he shall prepare the way before Me. Then suddenly the Master you are seeking comes to His Hĕ al (temple), even the Messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight. See, He is coming, said יהוה of hosts. This is the personal messenger of YHVH and He prepares the way for YHVH. He does the bidding and the work of YHVH. Matthew 11: And as these were going, יהושע began to say to the crowds concerning Yo anan, What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind? 8 But what did you go out to see? A man dressed in soft garments? Look, those wearing soft garments are in the houses of sovereigns. 9 But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yea, I say to you, and more than a prophet. 10 For this is he of whom it was written, See, I send My messenger before Your face, who shall prepare Your way before You. Who did Yochanan (John) prepare the way for? Who is the one that was there before their eyes, telling them that Yochanan was the one who was spoken of in scripture and who was fulfilling that prophecy? Who could speak with such authority? John 5:21-24

21 For as the Father raises the dead and makes alive, even so the Son makes alive whom He wishes. 22 For the Father judges no one, but has given all the judgment to the Son, 23 that all should value the Son even as they value the Father. He who does not value the Son does not value the Father who sent Him. 24 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me possesses everlasting life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. Ephesians 2: And having come, He brought as Good News peace to you who were far off, and peace to those near. 18 Because through Him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. YHVH and Yeshua are both a part of Elohim, but Yeshua is specifically a part of YHVH. They are both aspects of the oneness of Elohim. They are a part of the completeness, wholeness and oneness of Elohim. How did YHVH appear and show Himself in the wilderness to Yisrael? What did they see and what did they recognize as being YHVH? Exodus 13: And יהוה went before them by day in a column of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a column of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night. 22 The column of cloud did not cease by day, nor the column of fire by night, before the people. He went before them as a cloud during the day and by fire at night. They had something visual to relate to. They knew He was there they knew He was going before them! Anyone else who saw the nation of Yisrael also saw YHVH going before them! Was the cloud by day and the fire at night YHVH? Yes! How did YHVH appear to Iyob (Job)? Job 38:1 1 Then יהוה answered Iyo out of the whirlwind, and said, Was the whirlwind (hurricane) YHVH? If He can appear as a cloud, or as a column of fire, can He make Himself appear as a whirlwind? Is this a manifestation of YHVH? Yes! John 14: Philip said to Him, Master, show us the Father, and it is enough for us. 9 said to him, Have I been with you so long, and you have not known יהושע

Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father, and how do you say, Show us the Father? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak from Myself. But the Father who stays in Me does His works. Yeshua is talking very plainly to Philip here and revealing to him who He is looking at and speaking to can there be any doubt? If YHVH can appear and manifest Himself in different ways, can He not appear in the form of a man? A man with the power and authority of YHVH, but in flesh? A man that other men can look upon and relate to, and not die? He created us is it so hard to believe that He can clothe Himself in flesh if He wants to, in order to serve His purpose? Elohim has an image man is made after His image. How could man be formed after the image of Elohim, if Elohim had no image? The image of Elohim is a manifestation of Elohim. It is an image that He chooses to appear in. Genesis 5:1 1 This is the book of the genealogy of A am. In the day that Elohim created man, He made him in the likeness of Elohim. Elohim can appear in any form that He chooses. Elohim is not bound by any of the physical limitations and boundaries that we must live within. He is outside of time and outside the confines of a physical world. He is eternal He is what He is He defines what He is. What about the Ruach (Spirit) of Elohim? Is the Ruach a part of Elohim? Psalms 51: Create in me a clean heart, O Elohim, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. 11 Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Setapart Spirit from me. In his Psalm of repentance, David is concerned that Elohim is going to take His Spirit away from him. David recognized the Ruach and who it came from. He recognized what it meant in his life and that he needed it within him. He asks that his own spirit be renewed, but also that Elohim would not take His Spirit from within him. Yeshua also had the Ruach dwelling within Him. Luke 4:1 1 And,יהושע being filled with the Set-apart Spirit, returned from the Yardĕn and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

The Ruach comes from Elohim and we can have that same Spirit dwelling within us. How is it that Yeshua is able to dwell within us? Through the Ruach! Yeshua tells us that He and the Father will make their dwelling place with us. John 14:23 answered him, If anyone loves Me, he shall guard My Word. And יהושע 23 My Father shall love him, and We shall come to him and make Our stay (dwelling, home) with him. It is through the Ruach that it takes place. The Ruach is a part of the wholeness, completeness and oneness of Elohim! It is imparted to the true believers to reveal things to them, that they otherwise would be unable to understand. It unites them and binds them together as the people of YHVH. John 14: Yet a little while, and the world no longer sees Me, but you shall see Me, because I live, and you shall live. 20 In that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. There are deep things and mysteries of Elohim that we will continually be coming to understand and to grow into. The learning and maturing in the Word never stops and once our minds connect with the Ruach and we have ourselves in a right relationship with YHVH, He begins to reveal Himself in a much deeper and clearer way. Knowledge and understanding do not come overnight and there has to be a solid foundation built, before we can move on to the deeper things. The physical things around us are types, they are there to help us on our way to revelation and understanding, but the real knowledge, the true understanding, can only come when we are able to see things from a spiritual standpoint and to think with a spiritual mind. Isaiah 48: Listen to Me, O Ya aqov, and Yisra ĕl, My called: I am He, I am the First, I am also the Last. 13 Also, My hand has laid the foundation of the earth, and My right hand has stretched out the heavens. I call to them, let them stand together. 14 All of you, gather yourselves, and hear! Who among them has declared these? יהוה has loved him. Let him do His pleasure on Bavel, and His arm be on the Chaldeans. 15 I, I have spoken, I have also called him, I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous. 16 Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, I was there. And now the Master יהוה has sent Me, and His Spirit. 17 Thus said,יהוה your Redeemer, the Set-apart One of Yisra ĕl, I am יהוה your Elohim, teaching you what is best, leading you by

the way you should go. 18 If only you had listened to My commands! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea. 19 And your seed would have been like the sand, and the offspring of your inward parts like the grains of sand. His name would not have been cut off nor destroyed from before Me. Who is this speaking here? Who is this that has been sent by the Master YHVH along with His Ruach (Spirit)? Who is the first and the last? Who is the aleph and the tav? Who is the redeemer, the set-apart, kadosh (Holy) One of Yisrael? Isaiah 9:6-7 6 For a Child shall be born unto us, a Son shall be given unto us, and the rule is on His shoulder. And His Name is called Wonder, Counselor, Strong Ěl, Father of Continuity, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of His rule and peace there is no end, upon the throne of Davi and over His reign, to establish it and sustain it with right-ruling and with righteousness from now on, even forever. The ardor of יהוה of hosts does this. Who is this Child who was born with the rule on His shoulder? Who is this who is called Prince of Peace? Who is this who is called Strong El? His rule and peace will have no end. Who fits this description? John 10: My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them everlasting life, and they shall by no means ever perish, and no one shall snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all. And no one is able to snatch them out of My Father s hand. 30 I and My Father are one. The body of Messiah is a picture of wholeness, oneness and completeness. The body is made up of many members, but the body is to be united in thought, action and purpose. Yeshua is the head of the body and the body is supposed to grow up into the head. The head and the body, make the body complete. Elohim is the power, the core, the completeness, the oneness, the wholeness, The EL. YHVH, Yeshua and the Ruach are all part of Elohim and of one another, they are all aspects of Elohim, Elohim is the whole the entirety. He IS what He wants to be Copyright 2013 Jeff L Mills
