2 DAY 1 Read Bereshith/Genesis 1:1-5 In the beginning Elohim created the heavens and the earth. When the earth was made, it was dark, empty and FORMLESS. (Find a room and turn off all the lights. Close your eyes and imagine the earth appearing. If you were able to see the earth being made how would you feel?) The Ruach/Spirit then moved above the waters and Elohim said, Let light come to be and light came. Question: Elohim spoke words & things came into existence. Is there anybody that you can think of that can speak words & make things appear? Elohim separated the light from darkness and he called the light day and the darkness night. Then there came to be evening and there came to be morning on day one. SETAPARTKIDZ.COM PAGE 2

3 DAY 2 Read Bereshith/Genesis 1:6-8 Now on day two, Elohim separated the waters. Incredible right? Elohim separated the waters into two! One above and one below, with a huge space between them. Go outside and look up into the sky. The sky is the water he separated and he called it the heavens. Question: Is there anywhere else in scripture where the water parted? [Shemoth/Exodus 14:21-22] Then there came to be evening and there came to be morning on day two. In a bowl, try separating water with your hands. Are you able to separate the water? 4 DAY 3 Read Bereshith/Genesis 1:9-13 Now Elohim spoke and commanded all the waters under the heavens to gather into one place and let dry land appear. He called the dry land earth and he called the waters seas. Question: What is the name of the land that you live in? Have you travelled to another country before? Elohim spoke his words again and gave life to the grass, fruit bearing trees,and herb yielding seeds. Can you name some fruits that have seeds in them? What s your favourite fruit? Fun fact: Did you know a cucumber is a fruit? Elohim saw that it was good. There was evening and morning the third day. SETAPARTKIDZ.COM PAGE 4

5 DAY 4 Read Bereshith/Genesis 1:14-19 There are two bright lights in the sky that shines. One in the day and one in the night. What are those two lights? Elohim said, Let there be lights in the firmament in the heavens to separate day from night. Elohim also gave us the lights to help us remember YAH S: -signs -meetings/festivals/season -days & years and to. -light up the earth -rule the day & rule the night Elohim also made the stars, how many stars can you count at night? Elohim saw that it was good! And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. Question: Can you name some of the festivals that The Father commanded us to keep? SETAPARTKIDZ.COM PAGE 5

6 DAY 5 Read Bereshith/Genesis 1:20-23 And Elohim said, Let the waters be filled with moving creatures, Fun fact:if you read Genesis 2:19 it said that birds were made from the ground. and let birds fly above the earth. Can you name some creatures that live in the water? Can you name some birds that fly in the sky? And Elohim created great sea creatures and every living being that moves where the water has gathered. Elohim saw that it was good! And Elohim blessed them. This was Elohim s first blessing! Praise Yah! And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the fifth day. Question:Why do you think Elohim waited till the 5th day to make the sea creatures and the birds? SETAPARTKIDZ.COM PAGE 6

7 DAY 6 Read Bereshith/Genesis 1:24-31 On this day Elohim created beasts, cattles and creeping creatures which filled up the land.then Elohim saw that it was good. Riddle: I live in the woods. I'm very big and furry. I have a big nose, a little tail and four legs. I like to eat fish and berries. I am a bear! After that, Elohim did something incredible. He made a man and a woman in his image. Then, Elohim blessed them, just as he blessed the animals. Question: Why did he make man and woman last? He had special instructions for the man and woman: 1. To be fruitful and multiply the earth 2. To rule over the animals 3. That all the herbs of the earth and the trees that have fruit are for food This was the last day Elohim made everything. Then he saw everything that he made and it was VERY good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. SETAPARTKIDZ.COM PAGE 7

8 DAY 7 Read Bereshith/Genesis 2:1-3 Everything was created in a span of six days, so it was time for Elohim to rest. He finally completed his perfect creation. If we keep on going and going and going and going and.going we will get tired. Rest is very important. This is a special day because Elohim blessed it and set it apart. This was the seventh day.
