5 Cain Was Very Angry at God. Genesis 4:4 Abel brought the best parts from some of the firstborn of his flock. The Lord accepted Abel and his gift, 5 but He did not accept Cain and his gift. So Cain became very angry and felt rejected. 6 The Lord asked Cain, Why are you angry? Why do you look so unhappy?

6 Angry Can Destroy You. Luke 15: 28 The older son was angry and would not go in to the feast. So his father went out and begged him to come in. 29 But the older son said to his father, I have served you like a slave for many years and have always obeyed your commands. But you never gave me even a young goat to have at a feast with my friends. 30 But your other son, who wasted all your money on prostitutes, comes home, and you kill the fat calf for him! 31 The father said to him, Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. 32 We had to celebrate and be happy because your brother was dead, but now he is alive. He was lost, but now he is found.

7 Anger Can Destroys like a Flood. Proverbs 27:4 Anger is cruel and destroys like a flood, but no one can put up with jealousy!

8 See Angry in Before the Godly Characters. Galatians 5:19 The wrong things the sinful self does are clear: being sexually unfaithful, not being pure, taking part in sexual sins, 20 worshiping gods, doing witchcraft, hating, making trouble, being jealous, being angry, being selfish, making people angry with each other, causing divisions among people, 21 feeling envy, being drunk, having wild and wasteful parties, and doing other things like these. I warn you now as I warned you before: Those who do these things will not inherit God s kingdom.

9 The Spirit Produces the Fruit of Spirit. Galatians 5:22 But the Spirit produces the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23a gentleness, self-control

10 Self-Control Angry. Colossians 1:17 He/Christ existed before anything else, and He holds all creation together.

11 Angry without Self-Control is Not Godly Character. But Self-Control is Key. Angry Reminds us of Satan s Character. His Style: Destroy and Destroy. God s Style: Build Up or Strength Up.

15 Whoa!!! God is a Jealous God!! Why? Deuteronomy 6:14 Do not worship other gods as the people around you do, 15 because the Lord your God is a jealous God. He is present with you, and if you worship other gods, He will become angry with you and destroy you from the earth.

16 Angry Forever? Not! Psalms 103:7 He showed His ways to Moses and His deeds to the people of Israel. 8 The Lord shows mercy and is kind. He does not become angry quickly, and He has great love. 9 He will not always accuse us, and He will not be angry forever.

17 Choice: Gentle Answer or Unkind Answer? James 1:19 My dear brothers and sisters, always be willing to listen and slow to speak. Do not become angry easily, 20 because anger will not help you live the right kind of life God wants. Proverbs 15:1 A gentle answer will calm a person s anger, but an unkind answer will cause more anger.

18 With Lots of Loves and Patiences!! Proverbs 3:11 My child, do not reject the Lord s discipline, and don t get angry when He corrects you. 12 The Lord corrects those He loves, just as parents correct the child they delight in.

19 Forever or Forgive? Ephesians 4:26 When you are angry, do not sin, and be sure to stop being angry before the end of the day.

20 Forgive Each other Cuz God Forgave You in Christ! Ephesians 4:31-32 Do not be bitter or angry or mad. Never shout angrily or say things to hurt others. Never do anything evil. 32 Be kind and loving to each other, and forgive each other just as God forgave you in Christ.

21 Forgive Forgive and Yes, FORGIVE! Mark 11:25 When you are praying, if you are angry with someone, forgive him so that your Father in heaven will also forgive your sins.
