Deuteronomy 6:1-3 Now this is the mitzvah, the laws and rulings which ADONAI your God ordered me to teach you for you to obey in the land you are crossing over to possess, so that you will fear ADONAI your God and observe all his regulations and mitzvot that I am giving you - you, your child and your grandchild - as long as you live, and so that you will have long life. Therefore listen, Isra'el, and take care to obey, so that things will go well with you, and so that you will increase greatly, as ADONAI, the God of your ancestors, promised you by giving you a land flowing with milk and honey. Deuteronomy 17:18-20 When he has come to occupy the throne of his kingdom, he is to write a copy of this Torah for himself in a scroll, from the one the cohanim and L'vi'im use. It is to remain with him, and he is to read in it every day, as long as he lives; so that he will learn to fear ADONAI his God and keep all the words of this Torah and these laws and obey them; so that he will not think he is better than his kinsmen; and so that he will not turn aside either to the right or to the left from the mitzvah. In this way he will prolong his own reign and that of his children in Isra'el. Deuteronomy 31:9-13 Then Moshe wrote down this Torah and gave it to the cohanim, the descendants of Levi who carried the ark with the covenant of ADONAI, and to all the leaders of Isra'el. Moshe gave them these orders: "At the end of every seven years, during the festival of Sukkot in the year of sh'mittah, when all Isra'el have come to appear in the presence of ADONAI at the place he will choose, you are to read this Torah before all Isra'el, so that they can hear it. Assemble the people - the men, the women, the little ones and the foreigners you have in your towns - so that they can hear, learn, fear ADONAI your God and take care to obey all the words of this Torah; and so that their children, who have not known, can hear and learn to fear ADONAI your God, for as long as you live in the land you are crossing the Yarden to possess." Shabbat 1
Joshua 8:34-35 After this, he read all the words of the Torah, the blessing and the curse, according to everything written in the book of the Torah. There was not a word of everything Moshe had ordered that Y'hoshua did not read before all Isra'el assembled, including the women, the little ones and the foreigners living with them. 2 Kings 23:1-2 Then the king summoned all the leaders of Y'hudah and Yerushalayim, and they assembled with him. The king went up to the house of ADONAI with all the men of Y'hudah, all those living in Yerushalayim, the cohanim, the prophets and all the people, both small and great; and he read in their hearing everything written in the scroll of the covenant that had been found in the house of ADONAI. Nehemiah 8:2-3 Ezra the cohen brought the Torah before the assembly, which consisted of men, women and all children old enough to understand. It was the first day of the seventh month. Facing the open space in front of the Water Gate, he read From it to the men, the women and the children who could understand from early morning until noon; and all the people listened attentively to the scroll of the Torah. Shabbat 2
John 21:15-17 After breakfast, Yeshua said to Shim'on Kefa, "Shim'on Bar-Yochanan, do you love me more than these?" He replied, "Yes, Lord, you know I'm your friend." He said to him, "Feed my lambs." A second time he said to him, "Shim'on BarYochanan, do you love me?" He replied, "Yes, Lord, you know I'm your friend." He said to him, "Shepherd my sheep." The third time he said to him, "Shim'on BarYochanan, are you my friend?" Shim'on was hurt that he questioned him a third time: "Are you my friend?" So he replied, "Lord, you know everything! You know I'm your friend!" Yeshua said to him, "Feed my sheep! Shepherd Poy-Mah-Ee-No To furnish pasture for food. Figuratively- a teacher whose precepts they follow. Feed Bos-Ko The duty of a teacher to promote in every way the spiritual welfare of the body of Messiah. Shabbat 3
Matthew 4:23; 9:35; 11:1; 21:23; 26:55 Yeshua went all over the Galil teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom Yeshua went about all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom After Yeshua had finished teaching the twelve talmidim, he went on from there to teach and preach in the towns nearby. Matthew 4:23; 9:35; 11:1; 21:23; 26:55 He went into the Temple area; and as he was teaching, the head cohanim and the elders of the people approached him... Then Yeshua addressed the crowd: "So you came out to take me with swords and clubs, the way you would the leader of a rebellion? Every day I sat in the Temple court, teaching; and you didn't seize me then." Mark 1:21; 2:13; 6:6; 6:34; 12:35; 14:49 They entered K'far-Nachum, and on Shabbat Yeshua went into the synagogue and began teaching. Yeshua went out again by the lake. All the crowd came to him, and he began teaching them. He was amazed at their lack of trust. Then he went through the surrounding towns and villages, teaching. Shabbat 4
Mark 1:21; 2:13; 6:6; 6:34; 12:35; 14:49 When Yeshua came ashore, he saw a huge crowd. Filled with compassion for them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd, he began teaching them many things. As Yeshua was teaching in the Temple, he asked, "How is it that the Torah teachers say the Messiah is the Son of David?" Every day I was with you in the Temple court, teaching, and you didn't seize me then! But let the Tanakh be fulfilled." Luke 4:31; 5:17; 6:6; 13:10; 13:22; 20:21; 21:37 He went down to K'far-Nachum, a town in the Galil, and made a practice of teaching them on Shabbat. One day when Yeshua was teaching, there were P'rushim and Torah-teachers present who had come from various villages in the Galil and Y'hudah, also from Yerushalayim... On another Shabbat, when Yeshua had gone into the synagogue and was teaching Luke 4:31; 5:17; 6:6; 13:10; 13:22; 20:21; 21:37 Yeshua was teaching in one of the synagogues on Shabbat. Yeshua continued traveling through town after town and village after village, teaching and making his way toward Yerushalayim. They put to him this sh'eilah: "Rabbi, we know that you speak and teach straightforwardly, showing no partiality but really teaching what God's way is." Yeshua spent his days at the Temple, teaching; while at night he went out and stayed on the hill called the Mount of Olives. Shabbat 5
John 6:59; 8:20 He said these things as he was teaching in a synagogue in K'far-Nachum. He said these things when he was teaching in the Temple treasury room Teach Law-Mad To train, to instruct, to point Teach Did-As-Ko To hold discourse (speech, sermon, a formal discussion) with others in order to instruct them. To explain and expound. Shabbat 6
Psalm 133:1-3 Oh, how good, how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in harmony. It is like fragrant oil on the head that runs down over the beard, over the beard of Aharon, and flows down on the collar of his robes. It is like the dew of Hermon that settles on the mountains of Tziyon. For it was there that ADONAI ordained the blessing of everlasting life. Ephesians 2:11-14 Therefore, remember your former state: you Gentiles by birth - called the Uncircumcised by those who, merely because of an operation on their flesh, are called the Circumcised - at that time had no Messiah. You were estranged from the national life of Isra'el. You were foreigners to the covenants embodying God's promise. You were in this world without hope and without God. But now, you who were once far off have been brought near through the shedding of the Messiah's blood. For he himself is our shalom - he has made us both one and has broken down the m'chitzah which divided us Colossians 2:11 Also it was in union with him that you were circumcised with a circumcision not done by human hands, but accomplished by stripping away the old nature's control over the body Shabbat 7
Deuteronomy 30:6 Then ADONAI your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your children, so that you will love ADONAI your God with all your heart and all your being, and thus you will live. Jeremiah 31:31-33 "Here, the days are coming," says ADONAI, "when I will make a new covenant with the house of Isra'el and with the house of Y'hudah. It will not be like the covenant I made with their fathers on the day I took them by their hand and brought them out of the land of Egypt; because they, for their part, violated my covenant, even though I, for my part, was a husband to them," says ADONAI. "For this is the covenant I will make with the house of Isra'el after those days," says ADONAI: "I will put my Torah within them and write it on their hearts; I will be their God, and they will be my people." Ezekiel 36:26-27 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit inside you; I will take the stony heart out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put my Spirit inside you and cause you to live by my laws, respect my rulings and obey them. Shabbat 8
John 17:11, 21, 23 Now I am no longer in the world. They are in the world, but I am coming to you. Holy Father, guard them by the power of your name, which you have given to me, so that they may be one, just as we are. that they may all be one. Just as you, Father, are united with me and I with you I united with them and you with me, so that they may be completely one, and the world thus realize that you sent me, and that you have loved them just as you have loved me. Revelation 7:9-10 After this, I looked; and there before me was a huge crowd, too large for anyone to count, from every nation, tribe, people and language. They were standing in front of the throne and in front of the Lamb, dressed in white robes and holding palm branches in their hands; and they shouted, "Victory to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!" Matthew 24:4-5; Yeshua replied: "Watch out! Don't let anyone fool you! For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Messiah!' and they will lead many astray." many false prophets will appear and fool many people; and many people's love will grow cold because of increased distance from Torah. But whoever holds out till the end will be delivered. Shabbat 9
Matthew 24:42-44 So stay alert, because you don't know on what day your Lord will come. But you do know this: had the owner of the house known when the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you too must always be ready, for the Son of Man will come when you are not expecting him. Matthew 24:45-47 Who is the faithful and sensible servant whose master puts him in charge of the household staff, to give them their food at the proper time? It will go well with that servant if he is found doing his job when his master comes. Yes, I tell you that he will put him in charge of all he owns. Exodus 10:3 Moshe and Aharon went in to Pharaoh and said to him, "Here is what ADONAI, God of the Hebrews, says: 'How much longer will you refuse to submit to me? Let my people go, so that they can worship me.'" Shabbat 10
Worship Aw-Bad To serve as subjects. Exodus 12:38 A mixed crowd also went up with them, as well as livestock in large numbers, both flocks and herds. Mixed Crowd Ay-Reb-Rab A great many foreigners. Shabbat 11
Exodus 12:48-49 If a foreigner staying with you wants to observe ADONAI's Pesach, all his males must be circumcised. Then he may take part and observe it; he will be like a citizen of the land. But no uncircumcised person is to eat it. The same teaching is to apply equally to the citizen and to the foreigner living among you. Exodus 10:21-23 ADONAI said to Moshe, "Reach out your hand toward the sky, and there will be darkness over the land of Egypt, darkness so thick it can be felt!" Moshe reached out his hand toward the sky, and there was a thick darkness in the entire land of Egypt for three days. People couldn't see each other, and no one went anywhere for three days. But all the people of Isra'el had light in their homes. Matthew 28:19-20 Therefore, go and make people from all nations into talmidim, immersing them into the reality of the Father, the Son and the Ruach HaKodesh, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you Shabbat 12
Commission Tsaw-Vaw An authoritative order; a command Matthew 28:20 And remember! I will be with you always, yes, even until the end of the age. Shabbat 13
