1 Harmony of The Gospels Compiled by Campbell M Gold ( ) CMG Archives --()-- Introduction The following material compares references in the four gospels regarding the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. God himself has declared that all things must conform to the law of witness - "in the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established." "But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established." (Matt 18:16) "It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true." (John 8:17) "... In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established." (2 Cor 13:1) "At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death." (Deut 17:6) Consequently, for any occurrence/event to be admissible there must be a minimum of two witnesses, preferably three. It is interesting to note that as the Harmony of the Gospels is considered, there are a large number of events reported about Jesus Christ that do not satisfy "God's Law of Witness" and are therefore inadmissible as evidence/fact. This means that question and doubt is cast on the veracity of events and occurrences. Following is a comparison of the reported events in the four gospels, or witnesses, of Jesus Christ so you can judge veracity for yourself. --()-- 1
