3 National Day of Prayer Join us on Thursday, May 3, at noon as FBC Haughton hosts the National Day of Prayer in our worship center. We will be praying for the leadership and citizens of our city, community, state, and nation to live godly lives and to make wise biblical decisions. Happy Mother s Day! Proverbs 31:28 - Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her: On Mother s Day we honor our mothers and give thanks to God for providing the blessing of Mom. We will have the several locations for you to take pictures with your mom on Mother s Day, May 13. We will also have door prize drawings, with the winners announced at the end of the service! As a reminder, we will not have evening service on May 13 however a special devotional will be available on our website.

4 Memorial Day Devotional On Sunday, May 27, in lieu of our evening services, we encourage you to spend time enjoying the Memorial Day weekend by having a family devotional time. A special Memorial Day devotion will be available on our website. Welcome Hunter Brobst We are excited to announce the hiring of Hunter Brobst as our new Media Director! Please welcome Hunter, his wife Lindsay, and their daughter, Andee Kate! Geaux Global - MITC Training If you are going to MITC June 9-16, we will be prepping and training on May 23 at 6:00pm in E134.

5 CHILDREN S MINISTRY Children s Praise Celebration Night A night of celebration as children showcase Bible skills learned and choirs present, All Creation Sings! end-of-year program. Haughton Harvest - Children s Night Children are encouraged to attend Haughton Harvest - Children Night on Wednesday, May 9 at 6pm. We will have pizza and entertainment from world-record holding jump-rope master Peter Nestler. Game On! Gearing Up For Life s Big Game Grab your pom poms, lace up your cleats and tune up your horn. It s time to register for VBS! All new Kindergarteners - Grade 6 are invited to spend this week learning that God has given us everything we need to live a life honoring Him. On-line pre-registration taking place now. STUDENT S MINISTRY Camp Fuego 2018 Registration for Camp Fuego opens on May 1. Students (6th - 12th Grade) can reserve their spot at camp with a $100 deposit. Camp Fuego is set for June in Eunice, LA. Contact Brandon or Blake with any questions. Haughton Harvest - Student Night Students in 6th -12th Grades are encouraged to attend Haughton Harvest - Student Night on Sunday, May 6 at 5pm. Along with an insane amount of pizza, 3 students will be selected for a chance to win $50,000! In addition to that, you will have a chance to win 1of 5 ipads! Be sure to invite your friends and join us for the excitement. Summer Boil H-Town Students are invited to celebrate the end of school with fun, friends, and a crawflsh boil! Make plans to join us on Wednesday, May 23 and be sure to sign up in the Youth Room.
