1 (AMOS 1-9) MEMORY VERSE: Because I will do this to you, prepare to meet your God, O Israel! AMOS 4:12 : 1. The words of Amos which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel, two years before the earthquake. AMOS 1:1 2. Thus says the LORD: for three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will still turn away its punishment. AMOS 2:4 CIRCLE THE CORRECT WORDS: 3. I overthrew some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and you were like a (FIRECRACKER, FIREBRAND) plucked from the burning; yet you have (NOT, ALREADY) returned to Me, says the LORD." AMOS 4:11 4. "Therefore thus will I do to you, O Israel; because I will do this to you, (PREPARE, AFRAID) to meet your God, O Israel! AMOS 4:12 : 5. I hate, I despise your feast days, but I savor your sacred assemblies. AMOS 5:21 6. Though you offer Me burnt offerings and your grain offerings, I will not accept them, nor will I regard your fattened peace offerings. AMOS 5:22 CIRCLE THE CORRECT WORDS: 7. "But let (JUICE, JUSTICE) run down like water, and righteousness like a mighty stream." AMOS 5:24 8. On that day I will raise up the tabernacle of (ARRON, DAVID), which has fallen down, and repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, and (REBUILD, REMOVE) it as in the days of old;" AMOS 9:11 9. "I will (RETURN, BRING) back the captives of My people Israel; they shall build the waste cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them; they shall also make (GARDENS, CASTLES) and eat fruit from them. AMOS 9: "I will plant them in their land, and no longer shall they be pulled up from the (FARM, LAND) I have given them," says the LORD your God. AMOS 9:15 1/2
