1 Spiritual Warfare Praying Before a person can engage in Spiritual Warfare Prayer three things must occur: BELIEVE IN THE CREATOR By him was everything created which is in Heaven and in The Earth: everything that is seen and everything that is unseen, whether Thrones or Dominions or Principalities or Rulers; everything has been created by his hand and in him. Colossians 1:16 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. Ephesians 1:21 BELIEVE IN THE WRITTEN WORD For everything that is written from ancient times is written for our teaching, that by patience and by comfort of the Scriptures we should have hope. Romans 15:4 (Pray the word) RELEASE YOUR FAITH BASED ON THE PROMISE OF GOD AND THE WORD OF GOD And we recall before God The Father the works of your faith, the labor of your love and patience of your hope, which are in our Lord Yeshua The Messiah. I Thess. 1:3 (Faith in GOD and confidence in HIS promise) WARFARE PRAYING SOMETIMES MEANS: PRAYING FOR YOUR ENEMIES 1 The LORD restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the LORD increased all that Job had twofold. Job 42:10 STANDING IN THE GAP (INTERCESSORY PRAYER) "I searched for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, so that I would not destroy it; but I found no one. 2 When going into warfare praying be prepared for attacks against you, your home, family, husband, children, job, health etc Be willing to pay the price for warfare praying. Perhaps it is because of some of the manifestations listed above you are seeking to go into spiritual warfare. Understand when you go into war you are warring between two spiritual realms. 3 So at this point many are asking their self, how can I pray? 1) Pray with AUTHORITY!!! "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you. Luke 10:19 2) Pray BELIEVING!!! Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 3) Bind the STRONGMAN ~ (The roots) Or how can one enter into the house of the strong man, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. Matthew 12:29 THE BRANCHES ARE CUT/PRUNED The roots must be removed (INTERCESSORY PRAYER) 3 4) Pray CONTINUALLY!! (DO NOT GIVE UP~KEEP ON PRAYING...P..U..S..H..) Pray without ceasing. I Thessalonians 5:17 Colossians 1:9 For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. 5) Pray with surrender hands RAISED!!! Exodus 17: As long as Moses held up the staff in his hand, the Israelites had the advantage. But whenever he dropped his hand, the Amalekites gained the advantage. When Moses' hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up--one on one side, one on the other--so that his hands remained steady till sunset. 6) Do not get distracted with your surroundings, thoughts or sounds. Matthew 26:40-41 And He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, "So, you men could not keep watch with Me for one hour? "Keep watching and praying that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."

4 7) Fill your prayer space with WORSHIP MUSIC! Remember you are in a warfare atmosphere. Whenever possible, have someone to pray with you. Pray for unity and agreement. Leviticus 26:8 Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you. Isaiah 30:17 A thousand will flee at the threat of one; at the threat of five you will all flee away, till you are left like a flagstaff on a mountaintop, like a banner on a hill." 8) Pray for your eyes to be OPEN to see the mysteries of the spiritual realm. II Kings 6:17 Then Elisha prayed and said, "O LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see." And the LORD opened the servant's eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. II Kings 6:20 After they entered the city, Elisha said, "LORD, open the eyes of these men so they can see." Then the LORD opened their eyes and they looked, and there they were, inside Samaria. Daniel 10:7 I, Daniel, was the only one who saw the vision; the men with me did not see it, but such terror overwhelmed them that they fled and hid themselves. 9) Pray in the Spirit as GOD gives you the utterance. Jude 1:20 But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. 4 Ephesians 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. 10) Use your WEAPONS! a) HOLY FIRE! II Kings 1:12 Elijah replied to them, "If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty." Then the fire of God came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty. I Kings 18:38 Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. b) TWO EDGED SWORD! Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 5 c) ARROW! Psalm 64:9 But God will shoot at them with an arrow; Suddenly they will be wounded. Psalm 7:13 He has prepared his deadly weapons; he makes ready his flaming arrows. 4) THE BLOOD OF JESUS Revelation 12:11 They won the victory over him because of the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony. They didn't love their life so much that they refused to give it up. 5) THE NAME OF JESUS Isaiah 45:23 By myself I have sworn, my mouth has uttered in all integrity a word that will not be revoked: Before me every knee will bow; by me every tongue will swear. Romans 14:11 For it is written, "AS I LIVE, SAYS THE LORD, EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW TO ME, AND EVERY TONGUE SHALL GIVE PRAISE TO GOD." 6) DECREE AND DECLARE IT NULL AND VOID!! Colossians 2: 10 - and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority;... having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him. Ephesians 1:21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 5 Ephesians 3; 9-10 and to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God who created all things; so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places.
