1 Intercessory Prayer Team Summary Sunday, March 5, 2017 Engage Culture Part II John 4:1-7 By April 9, 2017, we will have over $100,000 towards the future of what God has planned for us. +Pastor LaBryant Friend How many people do you know today who are stuck in a pit that they can t get themselves out of? Never forget when you were stuck in your own pit that you couldn t get yourself out of. Don t turn your nose down at someone who s in a pit that you barely made it out of. We must become the hands of God in the earth to show others the way out. There isn t a pit deep enough that the Holy Spirit cannot rescue someone out of. All Nations Atlanta will maintain a culture that equips our partners to rob graves and pits. When Jesus decided to touch the woman at the well, He didn t meet her there to preach at her. He met her there to give her a revelation of something that she didn t have before. Revelation is not revelation if you already knew it. Revelation becomes revelation when Christ shines a light on something that you were not aware of before He came in. God is still the God who uncovers and reveals things. The problem with most churches is they [knowing that someone is in a pit] will preach down at them. The reason why churches in America are drying up is because they have mastered the ideology of preaching down at people who are in pits but forgetting that it wasn t too long ago that they were there as well.

2 The only way to rescue a person in a pit is to meet them exactly where they are and show them the way out. How many of us are willing to come off of our high horse and not be too afraid to humble ourselves and say, I once was in a pit. When was the last time that God used you not to speak at the pit but to go into it? Jesus found Himself IN the woman s situation. He had a need and so did she. The thing that kills the church is when we act as if we have it all together and we don t have needs too. You cannot be afraid to admit that while you are saved, you still have pit-like moments. The wisdom of winning souls isn t housed in how many scriptures you know. It s found in your courage to tell others that you ve been where they are. Jesus crossed societal lines to sympathize with the woman at the well. In doing so, His conversation lifted her up. Not only did Jesus lift the up and let her know that everything would be okay, He let her go and stayed where He found her. The woman left the well with greater revelation and insight but Jesus stayed put in the pit called the well. Just because you re above ground, it doesn t mean you re not in a pit. The testimony of one woman who didn t have it all together saved the lives of others she told to go see Jesus at the well. You really engage culture when you touch one who is able to touch many. Who are you willing to touch? Jesus is willing to meet you in your pit. We must be resolved that God is bigger than every single pit! In the pit and at the well, there is an engagement that changes the trajectory of lives. The woman left the well an evangelist. God is not looking at the present condition of your circumstances. He sees you from the other side of your issues.

3 We serve a God who will not leave us in a pit but He is committed to lifting us up. God grants us empathy and sympathy. To engage culture, we have to extend the same things to other. God doesn t just save you for your 3-piece suit and your fancy shout. He placed something in you that has to be a magnet to people who don t know Him. Don t think that it s a curse that you attract certain people. It s a platform that God has given you to change the lives of others. The greatest conversions will not happen at the altar of All Nations. It will take place in the streets of Atlanta. Prayer Targets: Breaking the power of Condemnation. Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior]. Romans 8:1 AMP By this we will know [without any doubt] that we are of the truth, and will assure our heart and quiet our conscience before Him whenever our heart convicts us [in guilt]; for God is greater than our heart and He knows all things [nothing is hidden from Him because we are in His hands]. Beloved, if our heart does not convict us [of guilt], we have confidence [complete assurance and boldness] before God; and we receive from Him whatever we ask because we [carefully and consistently] keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight [habitually seeking to follow His plan for us]. 1 John 3:19-22 AMP The Lord redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned. Psalms 34:22 ESV Compassion. For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses and temptations, but One who has been tempted [knowing exactly how it feels to be human] in every respect as we are, yet without [committing any] sin. Hebrews 4:15 AMP By this we know [and have come to understand the depth and essence of His precious] love: that He [willingly] laid down His life for us [because He loved us]. And we ought to lay down our lives for the believers. But whoever has the world s goods (adequate resources), and sees his

4 brother in need, but has no compassion for him, how does the love of God live in him? 1 John 3:16-17 AMP Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Colossians 3:12 NIV The LORD appeared to him from afar, saying, "I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with loving-kindness. Jeremiah 31:3 NASB The Mantle of Wisdom. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who is wise wins souls. Proverbs 11:30 NASB If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 AMP Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future. Proverbs 19:20 ESV Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Proverbs 4:7 Strategy. But through knowledge shall the just be delivered. Proverbs 11:9(b) o For a harvest of laborers He told them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. Luke 10:2 NIV o Unlock Intelligence An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge. Proverbs 18:15 ESV o Community Engagement (Roswell/Sandy Springs and the Northern corridor of Atlanta) Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:16 AMP

Western Corridor: Fulton Industrial/Six Flags Region (Drug/Sex trafficking, 4. Eastern Corridor: Decatur/Stone Mountain/Lithonia Region (Bigotry, Racism, Corruption) 5. Interior Corridor: Downtown/Midtown (Corruption, Lawlessness, Witchcraft/Occult, Perversion, Poverty and Intellectualism/Anti- Christ.) o Warring over the heart and soul of Atlanta I will give them hearts that recognize me as the Lord. Of the tribe of Issachar, men who understood the times, with knowledge of what Israel should do, two hundred chiefs; and all their relatives were at their command; 1 Chronicles 12:32 AMP According to the Targum, this meant that they knew how to ascertain the periods of the sun and moon, the intercalation of months, the dates of solemn feasts, and could interpret the signs of the times.
