1 Lilith 1. Introduction The name Lilith is derived from the Jewish word lee-leeth which refers to a night specter, creature of the night, hag or screech owl (unclean animal). All of these meanings are associated with witchcraft; the witch who astral travels; does rituals under the cover of darkness; the owl a favorite familiar spirit of those operating in magic. Lilith is mostly portrayed as a female demon that operates at night. It mainly attacks pregnant woman, embryos, babies and men. Her main purpose is to kill babies, obtain semen from men and enter into a spiritual marriage with these men, baring spiritual offspring and thus causing Godly marriages to break up. On a broader scale, this spirit also aims to eliminate and fill the place of Godly appointed leaders, reborn Christians and especially Israel. 2. Scripture References The Bible refers to Lilith only once in Isaiah 34:14. The theme of Isaiah 34 focuses on God s anger against all the nations of the earth because of the controversies they stir up concerning Jerusalem. It also talks about the Lord s vengeance as He wipes out the armies of the nations stirred up by these controversies. The Lilith spirit is playing an increasingly important role in the end times as it causes nations to rise up in rebellion and hatred toward God s nation (the Israelites and all the Spirit-filled Christians who have become a part of God s nation through spiritual rebirth). These nations influenced by Lilith, continuously stir up controversies concerning the borders of Israel, the right to its existence, the right to build in certain areas within its borders, the right of Israel to protect itself and even the right to worship at their most holy site. Many of us mistakenly think that it s a human right to voice our opinions concerning these issues. The truth is that God, the Creator and owner of all, has already decided and specified His will concerning this. If you stir up a controversy in opposition to God s will, you are not merely raising your voice against the small nation of Israel, but you are raising your voice against the Almighty! It is this type of behavior that the spirit of Lilith promotes. The Talmud and the Dead Sea Scrolls also identify Lilith as a demon. Ancient Babylonian bowls, used in magic rituals, have also been found with the name of Lilith inscribed on them. This demon was known by the Jews and also mentioned in the Keys of Solomon. The Midrash identifies the function of Lilith as a demon who endangers babies and women in childbirth. Those who practice witchcraft invoke Lilith to perform the following functions: - to strangle babies (killing them by stopping them from breathing Sudden Infant Death); - stealing the sperm of men while they sleep to use for spawning their own offspring;

2 - she is seen as the mother of all evil in the same way as the Holy Spirit is seen as the mother of all who is saved. Lilith, in collaboration with incubi and succubae, work by causing erotic dreams and nocturnal emissions. In addition, Lilith also promotes masturbation as a means of obtaining semen to spawn spiritual offspring. The Bible clearly states that such practices render one impure. (Leviticus 22:4, 15:18) 3. Hierarchy Lilith slots into the witchcraft leg of the satanic hierarchy. The principality of this leg is Belial, whose name means those who have become useless and/or wicked. It further slots in under the power named Jezebel. When ministering deliverance to someone with a Lilith spirit, you first need to bind and cast out the strongmen (principalities and powers) before dealing with the spirit and its fruits. Main Task On a broader scale, Lilith s main task is to cause people to stand in opposition to God s will and His declarations. This spirit incites people to attack, dethrone, rob and kill those who have been appointed by God, thus causing God s children to be filled with hopelessness, emptiness and confusion.

3 On a more personal note, Lilith kills babies, strangles people in their sleep and steals semen to obtain her own spiritual offspring. 5. If you have a high score on any of the issues listed above, simply ask God for forgiveness and refrain from committing this sin again. If your score is between 3 and 5: Satan and his demons have successfully attacked you in this area. You need deliverance and will need to follow the steps discussed in the section The Road to Victory. 6. Entrapments The lusts, hunger and fleshly desires of people attract this spirit People who willfully satisfy these lusts and desires invite in the spirit of Lilith Rebellion against God or any other form of authority It gains entrance through manipulation Undiscerning Christians who lack knowledge (Hosea 4:6)

4 It grows in strength when it is not confronted, is ignored or appeased in an attempt to avoid confrontation, is tolerated and allowed to remain in a position of authority 7. Road to Victory When dealing with Lilith you should keep in mind that someone in the person s ancestry, or the person himself opened the door to allow this spirit to operate within him and/or his descendants. Somewhere someone in the ancestry chose to follow the dark path and to worship Satan and/or anyone of his principalities, powers or demons. Repentance for this sin must be made prior to casting any spirits out. Alternatively, you could be presented with someone who had been cursed or has a cursed object in his or her possession. These curses must be broken and/or the objects must be burned before deliverance takes place. If this spirit operated by stealing semen or causing women to experience sexual dreams, you have to proclaim a divorce from this spirit. You need to tear up and declare the spiritual contracts this demon has obtained through the consummation of the marriage, null and void. Ask the Lord to renew the marriage ties between the husband and wife and pray for them that their first love for each other will be restored. In addition to following the Road to Victory discussed in Appendix 1 in the book Satan s Generals, also follow the demon-specific information below, when instructed in the relevant section in the appendix. Repentance for sins Repent for the sins caused by a Lilith spirit

7 Deal with curses, rituals and altars Ask the Lord to lift any curses that He has allowed to come upon you because of your involvement in these sins.
