2 Mon-Pray for children to know their Guide--Jesus Luke 2:8-11--And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. And the angel said to them, Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. Matthew 4: And he went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people. 24 So his fame spread throughout all Syria, and they brought him all the sick, those afflicted with various diseases and pains, those oppressed by demons, epileptics, and paralytics, and he healed them. 25 And great crowds followed him from Galilee and the Decapolis, and from Jerusalem and Judea, and from beyond the Jordan. 1 Corinthians 15: For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Pray kids will believe that Jesus is THE guide and their journey begins with Him when they trust Jesus as their Savior Ask God to open the eyes of their hearts and see that Jesus is really the Son of God, in spite of ANYTHING else they have heard or been told. Pray for the Holy Spirit to be free to be on our campus and nothing will quench the Spirit as it works through teachers to touch the lives of kids. Pray for preschoolers and their teachers as they adjust to their schedules; ask that these adjustments won't interfere with teachers helping preschoolers know that Jesus is God's Son!!!

3 Tue-Pray for Children to Follow Jesus John 14:6-- Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Daniel 1:9--And God gave Daniel favor and compassion in the sight of the chief of the eunuchs. Daniel 1:17--As for these four youths, God gave them learning and skill in all literature and wisdom, and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. Pray they will see that Daniel chose to obey God no matter what; and they will choose to follow our guide, Jesus. Pray for the life of Daniel to create a sense of awe with the kids who attend and the teachers will engage the kids and share the stories with excitement. Pray the kids will see Jesus as so much more than many world religions portray him as (Buddhism, Hindu, Islam) Pray the kids will learn to listen to God's direction and follow it. Ask for preschoolers to learn to love the Jesus of the Bible and grow like Him---Luke 2:52

4 Isaiah 53:4-6--Yet He Himself bore our sicknesses, and He carried our pains; but we in turn regarded Him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted. But He was pierced because of our transgressions, crushed because of our iniquities; punishment for our peace was on Him, and we are healed by His wounds. Daniel 3: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. 17 If this be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king. [d] 18 But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up. Deuteronomy 6:5-- You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. Wed-Pray for Children to Trust Jesus Pray children will see that only Jesus is the only one that can save us from our sin! Through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, He provided the way for us to be rescued and have eternal life. Pray for the kids to see the CHRIST Connection between the Old and New Testament--that the Bible is real and Jesus' death and resurrection was for OUR sins!! Pray children will trust like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego trusted that God's way is the best way!! As scripture is read ask the kid's hearts be TENDER to the story, without being afraid/traumatized (especially for those who are hearing it for the first time). "I Love to Tell the Story of Jesus and his Love"--help this song to be true for teachers each day.

5 Thurs-Pray for Children to Follow Jesus Everyday 1 Corinthians 15: For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve. Romans 10: If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Daniel 6: So the king gave the order, and they brought Daniel and threw him into the lions den. The king said to Daniel, May your God, whom you serve continually, recue you! Pray for kids to know that God has rescued us from sin and death--through His Son, Jesus. Pray for the Presentation of the Gospel by Chad this morning. Ask that nothing quench the Holy Spirit during this time and that each child would see that Jesus died for THEM! Ask that God give each counselor the special words to share with each child and that barriers to making a decision to accept Jesus would be broken. Pray for Preschoolers to understand the Bible tells us that God raised Jesus from the dead. Pray for Family Night this evening--pray for good fellowship and visitors to feel welcomed.

John 14:1-4-- Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God [a] ; believe also in me. 2 My Father s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going. Pray this generation of children and those to come will Believe the truth about Christ and that he is COMING BACK!! Ask God for boldness in speaking out in a world that wants tolerance for everything BUT Jesus. Ask God for ADULTS, like us, to be bold and to always be an example. Pray for Continued Connections and many would come to know Jesus in the weeks AFTER VBS, and families would be touched.
