GREAT CHAPTERS OF THE BIBLE NAME:
My Custom Version of 1 Corinthians 13 I may speak in the languages of humans and of angels. But if I don t have love, I am a loud gong or a clashing 1). I may have the gift to speak what God has revealed, and I may understand 2). And have all knowledge. I may even have enough faith to move mountains. But if I don t have love, I am 3) I may even give away 4) and give up my body to be burned. But if I don t have love, none of these things will help me. Love is when 5). Love is when 6). Love is not jealous when 7). It doesn t say 8). It isn t arrogant. It doesn t say 9). It doesn t say 10). It isn t irritable even if 11). Love forgives when The Love Chapter 1 Corinthians 13: 1-7 God s Word Translation I may speak in the languages of humans and of angels. But if I don t have love, I am a loud gong or a clashing cymbal. I may have the gift to speak what God has revealed, and I may understand all mysteries and have all knowledge. I may even have enough faith to move mountains. But if I don t have love, I am nothing. I may even give away all that I have and give up my body to be burned. But if I don t have love, none of these things will help me. Love is patient. Love is kind. Love is not jealous. It doesn t sing its own praises. It isn t arrogant. It isn t rude. It doesn t think about itself. It isn t irritable. It doesn t keep track of wrongs. It isn t happy when injustice is done, but it is happy with the truth. Love never stops being patient, never stops believing, never stops hoping, never gives up. 12). Love is when I 13). Love never stops being patient, never stops believing, never stops hoping, never gives up.
My Version of the 23 rd Psalm The Lord is My Shepherd Psalm The Lord is my I am never in need. He makes me. He leads me beside. He renews my. He guides me along the paths of for the sake of his name. Even though I walk through the, because you are with me, I fear. Your and your give me courage. You keep me calm by even while my enemies watch. You anoint me with. My cup overflows. Certainly, goodness and mercy will stay close to me all the days of my life, and I will remain in the Lord s house for days without end. The 23 rd Psalm The Lord is My Shepherd The Lord is my shepherd. I am never in need. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside peaceable waters. He renews my soul. He guides me along the paths of righteousness for the sake of his name. Even though I walk through the dark valley of death, because you are with me, I fear no harm. Your rod and your staff give me courage. You prepare a banquet for me while my enemies watch. You anoint my head with oil. My cup overflows. Certainly, goodness and mercy will stay close to me all the days of my life, And I will remain in the Lord s house for days without end.
Grace Chapter Ephesians 2:1-10 God s Word Translation You were once dead because of your failures and sins. You followed the ways of this present world and its spiritual ruler. This ruler continues to work in people who refuse to obey God. All of us once lived among these people, and followed the desires of our corrupt nature. We did what our corrupt desires and thoughts wanted us to do. So, because of our nature, we deserved God s anger just like everyone else. But God is rich in mercy because of his great love for us. We were dead because of our failures, but he made us alive together with Christ. (It is God s kindness that saved you.) God has brought us back to life together with Christ Jesus and has given us a position in heaven with him. He did this through Christ Jesus out of his generosity to us in order to show his extremely rich kindness in the world to come. God saved you through faith as an act of kindness. You had nothing to do with it. Being saved is a gift from God. It s not the result of anything you ve done, so no one can brag about it. God has made us what we are. He has created us in Christ Jesus to live lives filled with good works that he has prepared for us to do.
Never worry about anything. But in every situation let God know what you need in prayers and requests while giving thanks. Philippians 4:6 My list of prayers for other people: 1. The Joy Chapter Philippians 4:4-7 Always be joyful in the Lord! I ll say it again: Be joyful! Let everyone know how considerate you are. The Lord is near. Never worry about anything. But in every situation let God know what you need in prayers and requests while giving thanks. Then God s peace, which goes beyond anything we can imagine, will guard your thoughts and emotions through Christ Jesus My list of worries to pray for:
Heroes of Faith Able offered God a better sacrifice. Enoch Noah was taken to heaven, instead of dying. listened when God warned him about the things in the future that he could not see. The Faith Chapter Hebrews 11 Abraham lived as a foreigner in the country and became a father even though he was old and offered his only son as a sacrifice. Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau. Hebrews 11:1 Faith assures us of things we expect and convinces us of the existence of things we cannot see. Joseph Moses parents Moses Moses spoke about the Israelites leaving Egypt. hid him for three months after he was born, not afraid to disobey the king s order. refused to be known as a son of Pharaoh s daughter. left Egypt without being afraid of the king s anger. Moses established the Passover and saved the firstborn sons by spreading the blood on the doorposts. Israelites marched around the Walls of Jericho for seven days until they fell. Rahab welcomed spies as friends.
Some examples of hidden sins 1. I disobeyed a parent or a teacher. 2. I was jealous of another person and wanted to see harm come to him/her. 3. I wanted to get even with someone for doing something bad to me. The Repentance Chapter Psalm 51 1 John 1:9 God is faithful and reliable. If we confess our sins, he forgives them and cleanses us from everything we ve done wrong. 4. I did not tell the truth. 5. I continued to pick on someone else. 6. I didn t stand up for someone who was picked on. 7. I said mean things about someone. Write down any sin you have hidden now or in the past
The Party Chapter Luke 15 Write down something that was very important to you and was lost. A Parable is an earthly story with a heavenly meaning. Luke 15:4-7 The Parable of the Lost Sheep (The Good Shepherd) Luke 15:8-10 The Parable of the Lost Coin Luke 15:11-32 The Parabe of the Lost Son (The Prodigal Son) Luke 15:10 says, So I can guarantee that God s angels are happy about one person who turns to God and changes the way he thinks and acts. How did you feel? How did you feel when it was found? How did you celebrate? Just think about the celebration that takes place in heaven when a life that is lost is found in Jesus.
ISAIAH 53 The Suffering Servant Who has believed our message? To whom has the LORD s power been revealed? He grew up in his presence like a young tree, like a root out of dry ground. He had no form or majesty that would make us look at him. He had nothing in his appearance that would make us desire him. He was despised and rejected by people. He was a man of sorrows, familiar with suffering. He was despised like one from whom people turn their faces, and we didn t consider him to be worth anything. He certainly has taken upon himself our suffering and carried our sorrows, but we thought that God had wounded him, beat him, and punished him. He was wounded for our rebellious acts. He was crushed for our sins. He was punished so that we could have peace, and we received healing from his wounds. We have all strayed like sheep. Each one of us has turned to go his own way, and the LORD has laid all our sins on him. He was abused and punished, but he didn t open his mouth. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. He was like a sheep that is silent when its wool is cut off. He didn t open his mouth. He was arrested, taken away, and judged. Who would have thought that he would be removed from the world? He was killed because of my people s rebellion. He was placed in a tomb with the wicked. He was put there with the rich when he died, although he had done nothing violent and had never spoken a lie. Yet, it was the LORD s will to crush him with suffering. When the LORD has made his life a sacrifice for our wrong doings, he will see his descendants for many days. The will of the LORD will succeed through him. He will see and be satisfied because of his suffering. My righteous servant will acquit many people because of what he has learned through suffering. He will carry their sins as a burden. So I will give him a share among the mighty, and he will divide the prize with the strong, because he poured out his life in death and he was counted with sinners. He carried the sins of many. He intercedes for those who are rebellious. ISAIAH 53 The Suffering Servant Who has believed our message? To whom has the LORD s power been revealed?
