The Prophecies of Daniel Daniel 12: conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase. heavenwithin.us

The Prophet Daniel Babylon was an empire descended from Assyria of Nimrod Baruch 6:3-4 And now in BABYLON you will see borne upon men s shoulders gods of silver and gold and wood, which cast fear upon the pagans. Take care that you do not imitate their example. Babylon generated false religions, witchcraft and superstition Nahum 3:4 For the many debaucheries of the harlot (Nineveh of Assyria) fair and charming mistress of witchcraft, who enslaved nations with her harlotries.

The Prophet Daniel Daniel ( BC) was taken captive by the king of Babylon Daniel 1:1-6 King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon came and laid siege to Jerusalem The king [ordered his servant] to bring some of the Israelites of royal blood such as could take their place in the king s palace. Among these were men of Judah: Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. Daniel and fellow Israelites were blessed with wisdom from Yahweh Daniel 1:17-20 To these four young men Yahweh gave knowledge and proficiency in all literature and science.[the king] found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters in his kingdom. Daniel could also interpret dreams

The Prophet Daniel Daniel initially interpreted the dreams of the king of Babylon Daniel 2:1-30 King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream which left his spirit no rest and robbed him of his sleep The king asked Daniel Can you tell me the dream that I had, and its meaning? Daniel explains the dream as follows Daniel 2:31-35 O king, you saw a statue, very large andexceedinglybright Theheadofthestatuewaspure gold, its chest and arms were silver, its belly and thighs bronze, the legs iron, its feet partly iron and partly clay. While you looked at the statue, a stone which was hewn from a mountain struck its iron and tile feet, breaking them into pieces.the stone that struck the statue became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

The Prophet Daniel Several kingdoms would rule after Judah fell in 606 BC Daniel 2:37-45 You, O king you are the head of gold. Another kingdom shall take your place then a third kingdom, of bronze There shall be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron; it shall break in pieces and subdue all these others In the life time of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed it shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and put an end to them, it shall stand forever.

The Prophet Daniel The Jews would be ruled by foreign kings for many centuries Rise of Babylon 626 BC Nabopolassar Nebuchadnezzar Evel Marduk Neriglizar Labasimarduk Nabonid Rise of Medo-Persia 539 BC Cyrus Cambyses Darius, Xerxex Artaxerxes, Darius II Artaxerxes II Artaxerxes III Arses, Darius III Rise of Greece 330 BC Alexander The Great South North Ptolemy Seleucis Ptolemy II Antiochus I Ptolemy III Antiochus II Ptolemy Philopater Seleucis II Ptolemy Epiphanes Antiochus III Ptolemy Philometer Seleucis III Ptolemy VIII Antiochus IV Epiphanes Antiochus V Rise of Rome 63 BC Julius Caesar Augustus Caesar Tiberius, Caligula Claudius, Nero Golba, Vespasian Titus, Dominitian Nerva, Trajan Hadrian, Antonius

The Prophet Daniel The king of Babylon was the prototype for kings of the earth Daniel 3:1-6 King Nebuchadnezzar had a golden statue made, sixty cubits high.he then ordered [the people of his kingdom] to fall down and worship the golden statue. Whoever does not fall down and worship shall be instantly cast into a white hot furnace. Daniel s friends refused idolatry and were protected by Yahweh Daniel 3:24-92 They walked about the flames singing to God. Hearing them sing and astonished at seeing them alive King Nebuchadnezzar [said] I see four men unfettered and unhurt, walking in the fire, and the fourth looks like a son of God.

The Prophet Daniel Nebudchadnezzar then dreamt of his kingdom as a large tree Daniel 4:7-14 I saw a tree of great height at the center of the world. It was large and strong, with its top touching the heavens [then an angel] cried out Cut down the tee and lop of its branches, strip off its leaves and scatter its fruit But leave in the earth its stump and roots, fettered with iron and bronze, in the grass of the field That all who live may know that the Most High rules over the kingdom of men Daniel interpreted the king s dream Daniel4:17-22 youarethetree, oking You shall be cast out from among men and dwell with wild beasts; you shall be given grass to eat like an ox until you know that the Most High rules over the kingdom of men

The Prophet Daniel Daniel s work for Babylon ended with the last king Belshazzar Daniel 5:1-7 King Belshazzar gave a great banquet for a thousand of his lords he ordered the gold and silver vessels [from] the temple in Jerusalem to be brought in Suddenly, opposite the lampstand, the fingers of a human hand appeared, writing on the plaster of the wall in the king s palace. When the king saw the wrist and hand that wrote, his face blanched; his thoughts terrified him, his hip joints shook and his knees knocked. Daniel interpreted the writing for the king Daniel 5:25-28 This is the writing that was inscribed: Mene, Tekel, and Peres. These words mean: Mene, God has numbered your kingdom and put an end to it; Tekel, you have been weighed on the scales and found wanting. Peres, your kingdom has been divided and given to the Medes and Persians.

The Prophet Daniel Darius the Mede subdued Babylon (536 BC) and kept Daniel Daniel 6:4-8 Daniel outshone all the supervisors and satraps because an extraordinary spirit was in him the supervisors and satraps tried to find grounds for accusation against Daniel. [they petitioned the king] No one is to address any petition to god or man for thirty days, except to you, O king; otherwise he shall be cast into a den of lions. Daniel was caught praying to Yahweh but saved from death Daniel 6:23-25 My God has sent his angel and closed the lion s mouths so that they have not hurt me.this gave the king great joy The king then ordered the men who had accused Daniel to be cast into the lion s den. Before they reached the bottom of the den, the lions overpowered them and crushed all their bones.

The Prophet Daniel Daniel later saw the four kingdoms of earth as four beasts Daniel 7:2-8 In the vision I saw during the night, suddenly the four winds of heaven stirred up the great sea, from which emerged four immense beasts,...the first was like a lion but with eagles wings,...the second was like a bear...i looked and saw another beast like a leopard...and it had four heads...i saw the fourth beast,... terrifying, horrible, and of extraordinary strength...i was considering the ten horns it had... Hosea ( BC) made a similar prophecy centuries earlier Hosea 13:4-8.their heart was lifted up; therefore they forgot me. So I am to them like a lion; like a leopard I will lurk beside the way. I will fall upon them like a bear robbed of her cubs; I will tear open their breast, and there I will devour them like a lion, as a wild beast would rip them open.

The Prophetic Language The symbolism of Daniel s prophecies is repeated in the bible Isaac Newton interpreted prophecies by extensive bible study Newton Ch. 2: The head of a beast stands for the powerful men who lead the kingdom The tail of the beast stands for the inferior people who follow and are governed Multiple heads stand for multiple capital parts, dynasties, or dominions in the kingdom These can be collateral or successive with respect to the civil government Body parts of beasts and humans symbolize parts of nations Newton Ch. 2: The horns on any head stand for the number of kingdoms in that head The wings stand for the number of kingdoms represented by the beast The arm of a man stands for his power or the people that comprise his power The feet of a man stand for the lowest of the people or for the latter end of the kingdom The feet, nails and teeth of beasts of prey stand for armies and squadrons of armies The days of action stand for years Good and bad humans are also described as having horns Psalm 75:11 And I will break off the horns of all the wicked; the horns of the just shall be lifted up.

Babylon The first of the beasts represented Babylon in modern Iraq Daniel 7:4 The first was like a lion, but with eagle s wings. While I watched, the wings were plucked; it was raised from the ground to stand on two feet like a man, and given a human mind. Lions are used throughout Babylonian art and architecture

Media-Persia The second beast represented Media-Persia in modern Iran Daniel 7:5 The second was like a bear; it was raised up on one side, and among the teeth in its mouth were three tusks. It was given the order, Up, devour much flesh. The kings of Media-Persia were sympathetic to the Jews

Greece The third beast represented the conquest of the Greek empire Daniel 7:6 After this I looked and saw another beast, like a leopard; on its back were four wings like those of a bird, and it had four heads. To this beast dominion was given. Alexander the Great died so his kingdom went to his generals

Rome The fourth beast represented the brutal Roman empire Daniel 7:7 After this, in the visions of the night I saw the fourth beast, different from all the others, terrifying, horrible, and of extraordinary strength; it had great iron teeth with which it devoured and crushed, and what was left it trampled with its feet. Jesus and other Jews fought the idolatrous Roman empire

Rome Rome conquered much of Europe, Africa and the Middle East Rome eventually broke into ten kingdoms - horns Daniel 7:8-11 I was considering the ten horns it had, when suddenly another, a little horn, sprang out of their midst and three of the previous horns were torn away to make room for it. This horn had eyes like a man and a mouth that spoke arrogantly. I watched, then from the first of the arrogant words which the horn spoke, until the beast was slain and its body thrown into the fire to be burnt up.

Rome Daniel s prophecies detail the time and range of the beasts Daniel 7:11-12 I watched, then from the first of the arrogant words which the horn spoke until the beast was slain and its body thrown into the fire to be burnt up. The other beasts, which also lost their domain, were granted a prolongation of life for a time and a season. Newton determined that the beasts of Daniel were still alive Newton Ch. 4: And therefore all the four beasts are still alive. (1) The nations of Chaldea and Assyria (Iraq) are still the first beast. (2) Those of Media and Persia (Iran) are still the second beast. (3) Those of Macedon, Greece and Thrace, Asia minor, Syria and Egypt, are still the third. (4) And those of Europe, on this [West] side of Greece, are still the fourth. Newton further restricted the identities of heads and horns Third Beast: four heads are west of the river Euphrates Fourth Beast: eleven horns are west of Greece Greek Empire at Constantinople not part of the eleven horns The Roman Empire was divided into the East and West legs After the reign of Theodosius ( AD)

Rome Daniel requested clarification of the brutal fourth beast Daniel 7:19-22 But I wished to make certain about the fourth beast, so very terrible and different from the others, devouring and crushing with its iron teeth and bronze claws. About the ten horns on its head, and the other one that sprang up, beforewhichthree horns fell; aboutthehornwiththeyeyesandthemouththat spoke arrogantly. For as I watched, that horn made waragainsttheholyonesandwasvictoriousuntilthe ANCIENT ONE arrived; judgment was pronounced in favor of the holy ones of the Most High, and the time came when the holy ones possessed the kingdom.

Rome The siege of Rome by Goths divided it into ten empires Newton Ch The kingdom of the Vandals and Alans in Spain and Africa AC: 126 years 2. The kingdom of the Suevians in Spain AC: 177 years 3. The kingdom of the Visigoths. 400-present: Invaded Spain with Romans in The kingdom of the Alans in Gallia AC: 104 years 5. The kingdom of Ravenna. 408-present: Descendants of ancient tribes Alamanni Germans Burgundians Swiss Franks French Lombards Italians Saxons English Suevi Portugese Visigoths Spanish Heruli - dissipated Vandals - dissipated Ostrogoths - dissipated

Rome One horn arose from the ten that was different from the rest Daniel 7:23-24 The fourth beast shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, It shall devour the whole earth, beat it down, and crush it The ten horns shall be ten kings rising out of that kingdom; another shall rise up after them, different from those before him who shall lay low three kings. The Roman pope displaced three kingdoms (Newton Ch. 7) Exarchate of Ravenna Kingdom of the Lombards Senate and dukedom of Rome

Rome The Roman beast horn changed the calendar and the law Daniel 7:25 He shall speak against the Most High and oppress the holy ones of the Most High, thinking to change the feast days and the law. They shall be handed over to him for a year, two years, and a half year. Decretal de Translat. Episcop. Cap. He (the pope) can pronounce sentences and judgments in contradiction to the rights of nations, to the law of God and man...he can free himself from the commands of the apostles, he being their superior, and from the rules of the Old Testament...The Pope has power to change times, to abrogate laws, and to dispense with all things, even the precepts of Christ. Jewish Saturday Sabbath was replaced by Roman Sunday Edict of Roman Emperor Constantine (321 AD) Let all the judges and town people, and the occupation of all trades rest on the venerable day of the sun (Sunday). Catholic Catechism 2175 Sunday is expressly distinguished from the Sabbath which it follows chronologically every week; for Christians its ceremonial observance replaces that of the Sabbath. Jewish lunar calendar replaced by Roman solar calendar July: Julius Caesar August: Augustus Caesar Lunar date of Passover replaced by Roman date of Easter Pope Gregory XIII (Council of Nicea) wrong with the moon rather than right with the Jews

Persia-Greece-Rome Daniel had another vision of world powers in beastly form Daniel 8:1-7 After this first vision, I, Daniel had another I looked up and saw standing by the river a ram with two great horns, theonelargerand newer than the other As I was reflecting, a he-goat with a prominent horn on its forehead suddenly came from the west I saw it attack the ram with furious blows when they met, and break both its horns. Daniel 8:20-21 The two horned ram you saw represents the kings of the Medes and Persians. The he goat is the king of the Greeks, andthegreat horn on its forehead is the first king (Alexander the Great).

Persia-Greece-Rome Alexander the Great (horn) died drinking in Babylon in 323 BC Daniel 8:8-12 The he-goat became very powerful, but at the height of its power the great horn was shattered and in its place came up four others, facing the four winds of heaven. Out of one of them came a little horn which kept growing It boasted even against the prince of the host, from whom it removed the daily sacrifice It cast truth to the ground and was succeeding in its undertaking. The Greek Empire was then divided between four generals Cassander: Macedonia Lysimachus: Thrace Antigonus: Syria Ptolemy: Egypt A little horn later arose from Syria to gain strength in Rome

Persia-Greece-Rome The archangel Gabriel explained the prophetic vision to Daniel Daniel 8:22-26 The four that rose in its place when it was broken are four kingdoms that will issue from his nation but without his strength. After their reign there shall arise a king, impudent and skilled in intrigue He shall destroy powerful peoples, his cunning shall be against the holy ones, He shall be proud of heart and destroy many by stealth. But when he rises against the prince of princes, he shall be broken without a hand being raised. The vision of the evenings and mornings is true, as spoken.

Persia-Greece-Rome Jews were oppressed by Antiochus, worst of Seleucid kings Newton Ch. 9: Then Antiochus took Jerusalem with an armed force, slew 4000 Jews, took as many prisoners and sold them, spoiled the Temple, interdicted the worship, commanded the Law of Moses to be burnt, and set up the worship of the heathen Gods in all Judea. Inthe very same year (167 BC), the Romans conquered Macedonia, the chief of the four horns. Hitherto the Goat was mighty by its own power, but henceforward began to be under the Romans Antiochus Epiphanes is distinguished from the little horn Newton Ch. 9: This last horn is by some taken for Antiochus Epiphanes, but not very judiciously. A horn of a Beast is never taken for a single person: it always signifies a new kingdom, and the kingdom of Antiochus was an old one. Antiochus reigned over one of the four horns, and the little horn was a fifth under its proper kings. This horn was at first a little one, and waxed exceeding great, but so did not Antiochus. It is described great above all the former horns, and so was not Antiochus. His kingdom on the contrary was weak, and tributary to the Romans, and he did not enlarge it. The horn was a King of fierce countenance, and destroyed wonderfully, and prospered and practised; that is, he prospered in his practises against the holy people: but Antiochus was frighted out of Egypt by a mere message of the Romans, and afterwards routed and baffled by the Jews. The horn was mighty by another's power, Antiochus acted by his own. The horn stood up against the Prince of the Host of heaven, the Prince of Princes; and this is the character not of Antiochus but of Antichrist.

70 Weeks Jeremiah foresaw seventy years of Jewish exile in Babylon Jeremiah 25:11 This whole land shall be a ruin and a desert. Seventy years these nations shall be enslaved to the king of Babylon Jeremiah 29:10 Thus says the Lord, only after seventy years have elapsed for Babylon will I visit you and bring you back to this place. Daniel prayed to understand Jeremiah s prophecy Daniel 9:24-27 [Gabriel said] Seventy weeks are decreed for your people and for your holy city From the utterance of the word that Jerusalem was to be rebuilt until the one who is anointed and a leader, there shall be seven weeks. During sixty two weeks it shall be rebuilt, with streets and trenches in a time of affliction. After the sixty-two weeks an anointed shall be cut down when he does not possess the city. And the people of a leader who will come shall destroy the sanctuary For one week he shall make a firm compact with the many; Half the week he shall abolish sacrifice and oblation; On the temple wing shall be the horrible abomination until the ruin that is decreed is poured out upon the horror. Scholars regard the seventy weeks as 70x7=490 years

70 Weeks The Persian Kings restored Israel to the Jews in 537/8 BC Cyrus sent Ezra to rebuild the temple (Ezra 7:6-28) Artaxerxes sent Nehemiah to rebuild Jerusalem (Neh. 2:1-8, 7:4, 12:36) Authors vary on the dates that begin the 490 year count Restore Jerusalem: variously 468, 457, and 455 BC The year 457 BC is attested by: Greek Olympiad dates, Ptolemy s Canon, the Elephantine Papyri, and Babylonian Cuneiform Tablets Rebuild Temple: variously 468 and 445 BC Word to restore Jerusalem 7 Weeks Jerusalem rebuilt 62 Weeks Messiah Appears & Baptized Messiah Cut Off 1 Week End of 70 Weeks 49 Years 434 Years 7 Years BC AD

70 Weeks Newton deduced the seventy weeks ended at Jesus death Newton Ch. 10: There were but two returns from captivity, Zerubbabel's and Ezra's; in Zerubbabel's they had only commission to build the Temple, in Ezra's they first became a polity or city by a government of their own. Now the years of this Artaxerxes began about two or three months after the summer solstice, and his seventh year fell in with the third year of the eightieth Olympiad; and the latter part thereof, wherein Ezra went up to Jerusalem, was in the year of the Julian Period Count the time from thence to the death of Christ, and you will find it just 490 years. the death of Christ will fall on the year of the Julian Period 4747, Anno Domini 34; and the weeks will be Judaic weeks, ending with sabbatical years Newton s work also distinguishes the date of Jesus birth Newton Ch. 10: Having foretold both comings of Christ, and dated the last from their returning and building Jerusalem; to prevent the applying that to the building Jerusalem by Nehemiah, he distinguishes this from that, by saying that from this period to the Anointed shall be, not seven weeks, but threescore and two weeks (62 weeks x 7 = 434 years), and this not in prosperous but in troublesome times; and at the end of these Weeks the Messiah shall not be the Prince of the Jews, but be cut off; and Jerusalem notbehis, but the city and sanctuary be destroyed. Now Nehemiah came to Jerusalem in the 20th year of this same Artaxerxes, while Ezra still continued there, and found the city lying waste, and the houses and wall unbuilt, and finished the wall the 25th day of the month Elul, in the 28th year of the King, that is, in September in the year of the Julian Period Count now from this year threescore and two weeks of years, that is 434 years, and the reckoning will end in September in the year of the Julian Period 4712 which is the year in which Christ was born, according to Clemens Alexandrinus, Irenæus, Eusebius, Epiphanius, Jerome, Orosius, Cassiodorus, and other ancients; and this was the general opinion, till Dionysius Exiguus invented the vulgar account, in which Christ's birth is placed two years later.

70 Weeks Jesus elaborated on the abomination predicted by Daniel The Roman invasion and destruction of Jerusalem caused cessation Daniel 9:26-27 After the sixty-two weeks an anointed (Jesus) shall be cut down when he does not possess the city. And the people of a leader who will come (Romans) shall destroy the sanctuary For one week he shall make a firm compact with the many; Half the week he shall abolish sacrifice and oblation; On the temple wing shall be the horrible abomination until the ruin that is decreed is poured out upon the horror. Newton concluded Roman conquest discontinued sacrifice Newton Ch. 10: And in half a week he shall cause the sacrifice and oblation to cease; that is, by the war of the Romans upon the Jews: which war, after some commotions, began in the 13th year of Nero, A.D. 67, in the spring, when Vespasian with an army invaded them; and ended in the second year of Vespasian, A.D. 70, in autumn, Sept. 7, when Titus took the city, having burnt the Temple 27 days before: so that it lasted three years and an half. Babylonian Talmud Sanhedrin 43a: On the Eve of Passover they hanged Yeshu (Jesus of Nazareth) But they found nothing in his defense and hanged him on the eve of Passover.

Horrible Abomination The little horn caused the cessation of the daily sacrifice Daniel 8:11-12 It boasted even against the prince of the host (Yahweh), from whom it removed the daily sacrifice, and whose sanctuary it cast down. It cast truth to the ground and was succeeding in its undertaking. The little horn set up the abominable idol of Zeus-Jupiter Newton Ch. 9: [The little horn removed the daily sacrifice] in the wars which the armies of the Eastern nations under the conduct of the Romans made against Judea, when Nero and Vespasian were Emperors. This transgression is in the next words called the transgression of desolation (Daniel 8:13); and the abomination which maketh desolate (Daniel 11:31); and the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet (Matthew 24:15-21). It may relate chiefly to the worship of Jupiter Olympius in his Temple built by the Emperor Hadrian, in the place of the Temple of the Jews, and to the revolt of the Jews under Barchochab occasioned thereby, and to the desolation of Judea which followed thereupon; all the Jews, being thenceforward banished Judea upon pain of death.

Horrible Abomination Daniel foresaw the horrible abomination set up in the temple Daniel 11:31 Armed forces shall move at his command and defile the sanctuary stronghold, abolishing the daily sacrifice and setting up the horrible abomination. Daniel 12:11 From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the horrible abomination is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. Idols such as Zeus-Jupiter are called horrible abomination 1 Maccabees 1:44-54 [Antiochus Epiphanes] sent messengers with letters to Jerusalem and to the cities of Judah to prohibit holocausts, sacrifices to build pagan altars and temples that they might forget the law in the year 145(167 BC),the king erected the horrible abomination (Zeus Olympus) upon the altar of holocausts and in the surrounding cities of Judah they built pagan altars.

Horrible Abomination Jesus foresaw the desolating abomination before the onset of the great tribulation Matthew 24:15-21 When you see the desolating abomination spoken of through Daniel the prophet standing in the holy place, then those in Judea must flee to the mountains.for at that time there will be great tribulation such as has not been since the beginning of the world Newton identified it as a Roman pagan idol of Zeus-Jupiter Newton Ch. 9: [The Romans] conquered the kingdom of Syria, and reduced it into a Province: and thirty four years after they did the like to Egypt. By all these steps the Roman arms stood up over the Greeks. And after 95 years more, by making war upon the Jews, they polluted the sanctuary of strength, and took away the daily sacrifice, and, in its room soon after, placed the abomination which made the Land desolate: for this abomination was placed after the days of Christ (Matthew 24:15). In the 16th year of the Emperor Hadrian, A.C. 132, they placed this abomination by building a Temple to (Zeus) Jupiter Capitolinus, where the Temple of God in Jerusalem had stood. Thereupon the Jews under the conduct of Barchochab rose up in arms against the Romans, and in that war had 50 cities demolished, 985 of their best towns destroyed, and men slain by the sword: and in the end of the war, A.C. 136, they were all banished Judea upon pain of death; and that time the land hath remained desolate of its old inhabitants.

Dates and Times Daniel was told that the people must suffer for 2300 days Daniel 8:12-17 [A holy one asked another] How long shall the events of this vision last concerning the daily sacrifice the sanctuary and the trampled host? He answered him, For two thousand three hundred evenings and mornings, then the sanctuary shall be purified Understand son of man that the vision refers to the end time. Newton proposed several potential starting times Newton Ch. 9: Daniel's (2300) days are years; and may perhaps be reckoned either 1. from the destruction of the Temple by the Romans in the reign of Vespasian, or 2. from the pollution of the Sanctuary by the worship of Jupiter Olympius, or 3. from the desolation of Judea made in the end of the Jewish war by the banishment of all the Jews out of their own country, 4. or from some other period which time will discover. Newton Ch. 9: The horn cast down the Sanctuary to the ground, and so did not Antiochus; he left it standing. The Sanctuary and Host were trampled under foot 2300 days; and in Daniel's Prophecies days are put for years: but the profanation of the Temple in the reign of Antiochus did not last so many natural days. These were to last till the time of the end, till the last end of the indignation against the Jews; and this indignation is not yet at an end. They were to last till the Sanctuary which had been cast down should be cleansed, and the Sanctuary is not yet cleansed.

Dates and Times Daniel was given the duration of the rule of the Roman horn Daniel 7:25 He shall speak against the Most High and oppress the holy ones of the Most High, thinking to change the feast days and the law. They shall be handed over to him for a year, two years, and a half year (3½ years). The years are taken to be prophetic years (3½ x 360 =1260) Daniel 12:7 [Daniel said] I heard him swear by him who lives forever that it should be for a year, two years, and a half year (3½ years); and that, when the power of the destroyer of the holy people was brought to an end, all these things should end. Daniel asked for clarification of the time of suffering Daniel 12:11-12 From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the horrible abomination is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is the man who has patience and perseveres until the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

Dates and Times Newton identified the height of the Roman beast s power Coronation of Charlemagne by pope Leo III in 800 AD This began the Holy Roman Empire or First Reich Newton in Yahuda MS 7.3: So then the time times & half a time are 42 months or 1260 days or three years & an half, reckoning twelve months to a year & 30 days to a month as was done in the Calendar of the primitive year. And the days of short lived Beasts being put for the years of lived kingdoms, the period of 1260 days, if dated from the complete conquest of the three kings A.C. 800, will end A.C This I mention not to assert when the time of the end shall be, but to put a stop to the rash conjectures of fanciful men who are frequently predicting the time of the end, and by doing so bring the sacred prophesies into discredit as often as their predictions fail. Christ comes as a thief in the night, and it is not for us to know the times and seasons which God hath put into his own breast.

Dates and Times Newton calculated end of evil to be no earlier than 2060 A.D. Newton in Yahuda MS 7.3: Propositions 1. The 2300 prophetic days did not commence before the rise of the little horn of the He Goat. 2. Those day did not commence after the destruction of Jerusalem & the Temple by the Romans A.D The 3½ times did not commence before the year 800 in which the Pope s supremacy commenced 4. They did not commence after the reign of Pope Gregory the 7 th in The 1290 days did not commence before the year They did not commence after the reign of Pope Gregory the 7 th in The difference between the 1290 & 1335 days are a parts of the seven weeks. The prophecies overlap Revelations Newton in Yahuda MS 7.3: The 2300 years do not end before the year 2132 nor after The 3½ times do not end before 2060 nor after The 1290 days do not end before 2090 nor after Let us eagerly await God s kingdom

The Judge Daniel watched the Ancient One judge the fourth beast Daniel 7:9-10 As I watched, thrones were set up and the ANCIENT ONE took his throne. His clothing was snow bright and the hair on his head as white as wool. His throne was flames of fire with wheels of burning fire The court was convened and the books were opened.

The Judge Daniel also foresaw the Son of Man and his eternal kingdom Daniel 7:13-14 As the visions during the night continued, I saw one like a SON OF MAN coming in the clouds of heaven; When he reached the ANCIENT ONE and was presented before him, He received dominion, glory and kingship. Nations and peoples of every language serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that shall not be taken away, his kingship shall not be destroyed.
