Peters Vision of the Sheet with UNCLEAN Creatures on it. Shalom Brothers and Sisters, First let me say, I pray you are blessed with the full blessings of Yeshua our Messiah and always walk in His Peace. In this teaching I will explain several things not covered by most Christian teachers on Acts 10, Peters Vision of the sheet with common and unclean creatures that came down. I would like for you to read the entire Scripture I have included in full. Feel free to use your own bible if you think it is necessary, but please, read the entire chapter. When you read this chapter (Acts 10) please keep in mind that the person depicted in this chapter, Peter was a Jew. He kept the Torah (Law), and for Him, the Torah was the ONLY Scriptures. The so called New Testament had not been compiled or written yet and would not be in any form until around 400 years after His death and certainly not in a form we would recognize until the 1600 s 1611 King James. Peter would have lived by the Standards handed down to him by his father and his father s father and so on, and later clarified by the Messiah Himself, Yeshua. Here is a very important question that first needs to be addressed. How many Gods does the Scriptures say there are, not man made gods, but the Real God, the Creator of all things? Is Yeshua, (Jesus) God, the Creator? If you can answer the first question as only one God and only one Creator, that is good because that is what is taught in the Scriptures. Secondly, if you can answer the next question with a Yes, Yeshua, (Jesus) is God and He is the ONLY Creator, you are again on track in the Scriptures. For any of those who believe these statements to be incorrect, please read my book, We Have Inherited Lies available for free in a PDF download at: under Free Products. Please pay very close attention to the Chapter dealing with the Creator. You will find the answers there. There is only ONE truth in the Scriptures and they are as simple as Black and White, Hot and Cold, & Yes and No. For those of you who are still with me, let s continue. From a Jews perspective based on what they were taught from the Father in His Torah, you need to understand what Peter and all of the Jews where taught was food are different from what Gentile considered food. Read Leviticus 11 to know what the Father, the Creator of your very own bodies said was food for us and what was NOT to be food for us. Remember, Yeshua is the Creator and so, don t you think He would know what He Created as food, was really food for us and what was not food? Here is the problem the Christian church has with Acts 10. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with FOOD Let me say this again, NOTHING to do with FOOD. The topic and context of this chapter is to do with who are the Fathers Children and setting aside man s traditions, nothing more So now, here is the Chapter in question, and again, if you like, go ahead and read it in your own bibles, but I think you will find, the Scriptures I have included here are the same in content. At the end of this chapter that I have included, I will go into the teaching and explanation of what Peter came to realize and how he was NOT following what the Father said in His Torah about NOT adding to and taking away from His Commandments. Deut. 4:2 and many others. Act 10:1-48 The Scriptures (1) Now there was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a captain of what was called the Italian Regiment,

(2) dedicated, and fearing Elohim (God) with all his household, doing many kind deeds to the people, and praying to Elohim (God) always. (3) He clearly saw in a vision, about the ninth hour of the day, a messenger of Elohim (God) coming to him, and saying to him, Cornelius! (4) And looking intently at him, and becoming afraid, he said, What is it, master? And he said to him, Your prayers and your kind deeds have come up for a remembrance before Elohim (God). (5) And now send men to Yapho, (Joppa) and send for Shimʽon (Simon) who is also called Kĕpha (Peter). (6) He is staying with Shimʽon, (Simon) a leather-tanner, whose house is by the sea. (7) And when the messenger who spoke to him went away, Cornelius called two of his household servants, and a dedicated soldier from among those who waited on him continually. (8) And having explained to them all, he sent them to Yapho (Joppa). (9) And on the next day, as they were on their way and approaching the city, Kĕpha (Peter) went up on the house-top to pray, about the sixth hour. (10) And he became hungry and wished to eat. But while they were preparing, he fell into a trance, (11) and he saw the heaven opened and a certain vessel like a great sheet bound at the four corners, descending to him and let down to the earth, (12) in which were all kinds of four-footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping creatures, and the birds of the heaven. (13) And a voice came to him, Rise up, Kĕpha, (Peter) slay and eat. (14) But Kĕpha (Peter) said, Not at all, Master! Because I have never eaten whatever is common or unclean. (15) And a voice came to him again the second time, What Elohim (God) has cleansed you do not consider common. (16) And this took place three times, and the vessel was taken back to the heaven. (17) And while Kĕpha (Peter) was doubting within himself about what the vision might mean, look, the men who had been sent from Cornelius, having asked for the house of Shimʽon (Simon), stood at the gate, (18) and calling out, they enquired whether Shimʽon (Simon), also known as Kĕpha (Peter), was staying there. (19) And as Kĕpha (Peter) was thinking about the vision, the Spirit said to him, See, three men seek you. (20) But rise up, go down and go with them, not doubting at all, for I have sent them. (21) So Kĕpha (Peter) went down to the men who had been sent to him from Cornelius, and said, Look, I am the one you seek. Why have you come? (22) And they said, Cornelius the captain, a righteous man and one who fears Elohim (God) and well spoken of by the entire nation of the Yehudim,(Jews) was instructed by a set-apart messenger to send for you to his house, and to hear words from you. (23) So inviting them in, he housed them. And on the next day Kĕpha (Peter) went away with them, and some brothers from Yapho (Joppa) went with him. (24) And the following day they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius was waiting for them, having called together his relatives and close friends. (25) And it came to be, that when Kĕpha (Peter) entered, Cornelius met him and fell down at his feet and bowed before him. (26) But Kĕpha (Peter) raised him up, saying, Stand up, I myself am also a man. (27) And talking with him, he went in and found many who had come together. (28) And he said to them, You know that a Yehudite (Jewish) man is not allowed to associate with, or go to one of another race. But Elohim (God) has shown me that I should not call any man common or unclean. 1 Footnote: 1 See v. 35. (29) That is why I came without hesitation when I was sent for. So I ask, why have you sent for me? (30) And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour. And at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and see, a man stood before me in shining garments, (31) and said, Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your kind deeds were remembered before Elohim (God). (32) Now send to Yapho (Joppa) and call Shimʽon (Simon), here, who is also called Kĕpha (Peter). He is staying in the house of Shimʽon (Simon), a leather-tanner, by the sea. When he comes, he shall speak to you.

(33) So I sent to you immediately, and you have done well to come. And now, we are all present before Elohim, (God) to hear all that you have been commanded by Elohim (God). (34) And opening his mouth, Kĕpha (Peter) said, Truly I see that Elohim (God) shows no partiality, (35) but in every nation, he who fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him. יהושע He sent the word to the children of Yisra ĕl (Israel), bringing the Good News: peace through (36) (Yeshua or Jesus) Messiah! He is Master of all. (37) You know what word came to be throughout all Yehudah, (Judea) beginning from Galil (Galilee) after the immersion which Yohanan (John) proclaimed: (38) how Elohim (God) did anoint יהושע (Yeshua or Jesus) of Natsareth (Nazareth) with the Set-apart Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for Elohim(God) was with Him. (39) And we are witnesses of all He did, both in the country of the Yehudim (Jews) and in Yerushalayim, (Jerusalem) whom they even killed by hanging on a timber. (40) Elohim (God) raised up this One on the third day, and let Him be seen, (41) not to all the people, but to witnesses, those having been chosen before by Elohim (God) to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead. (42) And He commanded us to proclaim to the people, and to witness that it is He who was appointed by Elohim (God) to be Judge of the living and the dead. 1 Footnote: 1 See 17:31, John 5:29, Ps. 96:13, Ps. 98:9, Rev. 19:11. (43) To this One all the prophets bear witness, that through His Name, everyone believing in Him does receive forgiveness of sins. (44) While Kĕpha (Peter) was still speaking these words, the Set-apart Spirit fell upon all those hearing the word. (45) And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Kĕpha (Peter), because the gift of the Set-apart Spirit had been poured out on the gentiles also, (46) for they were hearing them speaking with tongues and extolling Elohim (God). Then Kĕpha (Peter) answered, (47) Is anyone able to forbid water, that these should not be immersed who have received the Set-apart Spirit even as also we? (48) And he commanded them to be immersed in the Name of יהושע (Yeshua or Jesus) Messiah. Then they asked him to remain a few days. O.K. Let us get started. Did you know that many of the Jewish Leaders were Fence Builders? Perhaps I should explain. They built fences around the Torah and believe this or not, this was against the instructions of the Father when He said, Do not add to or take away from the Commandments. Here is why and what it means to put fences up around the Torah. First let me say I believe many of the Jewish Leader did this with good intentions and are not wicked evil men. However good intentions no matter what they are, does not change the fact the Father said do not add to or take away from His Commandments. Here is what they would do. When they (Jewish Leaders) would read in the Torah as an example, Leviticus 11 dealing with the FOOD Laws, they know and realized the Gentiles, Gentiles mean in Hebrew, to be out of Covenant, the Gentiles never followed what the Creator taught concerning what was food and what was NOT food. Pig according to the Creator is not considered food among many other animal that Gentiles would eat. Before anyone starts saying, Well that s the Old Testament, or Those are the Laws for the Jews, Realize this one simple fact. There was nothing that existed in the time of Peter, Paul, James, John or any of the other so called Church Founders called the New Testament. It did not exist yet. They only had the Torah or the Old Testament. When the Bureans searched the Scriptures to see if what Paul was teaching was correct, the only Scriptures they had was the Torah. Think about it

Getting back to the Fences, What many of the Jewish leaders would do is this: Gentiles eat pig; we are not to eat pig. We don t want the Gentiles to influence the Jews, so, we will make a new commandment, Do NOT have anything to do with the Gentiles. Do not enter their homes Do not eat with them in any way. Don t touch anything the Gentiles may have touched and so on and so on. This is done perhaps with good intentions; however, it is directly breaking what the Father has commanded by not Adding to His Commandments and not taking away from His Commandments. These are the Jewish traditions and the oral laws created by the Jewish leaders many of which Yeshua stripped away when He had conflict with the Jewish leaders. The Traditions of the Elders. Ok, here is a point by point in the 10th chapter of Acts you should consider. Notice in verse 13, Peter was told or commanded to Get up, Kill and Eat. Pay attention to this, He was commanded 3 times to, Get up, Kill and Eat, and all three times he refuses and disobeyed the command he was given. Notice Peter s response to the command, Get up, Kill and Eat. :14 But Kĕpha (Peter) said, Not at all, Master! Because I have never eaten whatever is common or unclean. And then in verse 15 God said. What Elohim (God) has cleansed you do not consider common. (16) And this took place three times, and the vessel was taken back to the heaven. With this content in mind: Who has ever refused to follow a command given to them by God and they did not get punished for it? Peter did not disobey once, but three times a command from God, and yet, nothing. No rebuke for disobeying a direct command from God. Think about it, God did not smite Him, how strange is that? Not even a slap on the wrist. What did God have to say after Peter refused to obey the commands, What Elohim (God) has cleansed you do not consider common. How could Peter have done this unless this was a test as well as something that God needed to teach Peter? Peter as a Torah observant Jew, passed the test in as far as not eating anything that the Father has called unclean, he passed. So what is the real message the Father was trying to get Peter to understand? As we can read in verse 17 Peter was kinda feeling a little confused, it says he doubted himself on the meaning of this vision. Why? He was a good Jew and did not break the Food Law of what to eat, he followed what the Father had commanded in the Torah, and yet, the Father said, don t call anything unclean what I have called clean. This must have been very confusing for a good Torah observant Jewish man. For a Jewish Torah observant man such as Peter, it must have looked as if God was being a hypocrite. Peter had been taught all his life that the Father never changed and the Fathers Laws would never change, so what the heck is going on here? Well as you read on in this Chapter, you will see that Father was trying to teach Peter, Deut. 4:2, not to add to or take away for the Fathers Commandments. Look where Peter was taken. He was taken to the house of a what? A Gentile Now remember, it was unlawful because of the traditions of the Elders to enter the houses of any Gentile. There is absolutely no place in any of the Torah that the Father ever says not to have anything to do with the Gentiles or to not enter their homes. We are commanded not to do as they do and not to marry their daughters because their daughters could cause us to leave the true teachings of the Father in His Torah. Here is an interesting possibility. Listen to me carefully, I do not have any biblical proof of what I am going to say here, but it is a real possibility. The man that Peter was sent to could very well have been someone he had met before along with all of the other disciples. Remember in Acts 10:1-2 MKJV (1) And a certain man named Cornelius was in Caesarea, a centurion of the Italian cohort, (2) one devout and fearing God, with all his household, both doing many merciful deeds to the people, and praying continually to God. Now think back to the Time in the Scriptures that a Centurion Leader came to Yeshua and asked Him to heal his son. The Centurion Leader Said to Yeshua, I have many servants under my authority. He said, I tell them to go, and they go, I tell them to do this, and they do all I command. You just say to me, it will be done, and I will believe you. Then Yeshua said, I have not known anyone with this kind of faith, and at that very hour, the Centurions son was healed. While I do not

have any Scriptural proof this is the same man, it is interesting none the less to think this could be him. Anyway, that is off topic but just food for thought. Notice here in the next verses how Peter himself says all of this had nothing to do with FOOD as some Christian leaders teach, but rather He states it is to do with PEOPLE. Not to call those called by the Father unclean just because they are not Jews but rather Gentiles. Now what does it mean to be Unclean as a person? To completely walk away from the Father and His Son, Yeshua, this is UNCLEAN (28) And he said to them, You know that a Yehudite (Jewish) man is not allowed to associate with, or go to one of another race. But Elohim (God) has shown me that I should not call any man common or unclean. 1 Footnote: 1 See v. 35. (34) And opening his mouth, Kĕpha (Peter) said, Truly I see that Elohim (God) shows no partiality, (35) but in every nation, he who fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him יהושע He sent the word to the children of Yisra ĕl (Israel), bringing the Good News: peace through (36) (Yeshua or Jesus) Messiah! He is Master of all. Now again, notice in Acts Chapter 11 Peter goes into Great detail about what he just experienced. Act 11:1-18 And the apostles and brothers who were in Judea heard that the nations had also received the Word of God. (2) And when Peter had come up to Jerusalem, those of the circumcision contended with him, (3) saying, You went in to uncircumcised men and ate with them. (4) But Peter related the matter from the beginning and explained it by order to them, saying, (5) I was in the city of Joppa praying. And in an ecstasy I saw a vision, a certain vessel like a sheet coming down, let down from the sky by four corners. And it came even to me. (6) When I had fastened my eyes on it, I looked and saw four-footed animals of the earth, and wild beasts, and reptiles, and birds of the heaven. (7) And I heard a voice saying to me, Arise, Peter! Kill and eat! (8) But I said, Not so, Lord, for nothing common or unclean has at any time entered into my mouth. (9) But the voice answered me again from the heaven, What God has made clean, you do not call common. (10) And this was done three times, and all were drawn up again into the heaven. (11) And behold, immediately three men stood at the house in which I was, sent from Caesarea to me. (12) And the Spirit told me to go with them, not discriminating (Because they were Gentiles, and notice three time he was told of the unclean animals, not food, again unclean animals are not considered to be food, and there ended up being three "unclean" Gentiles there in front of him. As you will see, the Father was saying not to call His children, even those Gentiles who turned from their Pagan ways and are grafted in to the body, unclean.) Continuing with the verse... And these six brothers went with me, and we entered the man's house. (13) And he declared to us how he had seen an angel in his house, who stood and said to him, Send men to Joppa and call for Simon whose last name is Peter, (14) who will tell you words by which you and all your house shall be saved. (15) And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them, as on us at the beginning. (16) And I remembered the Word of the Lord, how He said, John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit. (17) If God gave to them "The Gentiles" the same gift as to us, they having believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to be able to prevent God? (18) When they heard these things, they were silent and glorified God, saying, Then God has also granted repentance to life to the nations. Footnote: See Acts 10:35.

Anyone who is honest cannot make these verses mean food in anyway. It is clearly talking about calling The Fathers children unclean just because you perceive them as unclean. We are to call all of those people who have turned and followed the Father and His Instructions in the Torah as Clean. Enough said, Followers of the Father are clean, not unclean food. I will write another article concerning whether or not Gentiles are obligated to keep the Torah of the Father, not the Laws of the Jews. Please understand, there is a very big difference between the Fathers Laws compared to the Laws of the Jews, and understand that many of the Jews were teaching the Gentiles had to convert by keeping all of the Laws, and they were of course referring to the Jewish Leaders Laws as well as all of the rest of the Fathers Commandment. I will explain to council explanation of how the Gentiles are to keep the Laws of our Father. It really is easy to understand once you learn to read the Scriptures from a Hebraic point of view. Therefore, until the next time, I pray you go and be in the Fathers complete blessing and in His Peace
