MAKE YOURSELF, AN ARK!

1 "THE WORDS OF THE LORD ARE PURE WORDS, LIKE SILVER TRIED IN A FURNACE OF EARTH, PURIFIED SEVEN TIMES. YOU SHALL KEEP THEM, O LORD, YOU SHALL PRESERVE THEM FROM THIS GENERATION FOREVER." (PSALM 12: 6-7) Graefenburg Road Lawrenceburg, KY January 17, 2014 MAKE YOURSELF, AN ARK! And God said to Noah, The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold. I will destroy them with the earth. Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch. And behold, I Myself am bringing floodwaters on the earth, to destroy from under heaven all flesh in which is the breath of life; everything that is on the earth shall die. But I will establish My covenant with you; and you shall go into the Ark you, your sons, your wife, and your sons wives with you. Thus Noah did; according to all that God commanded him, so he did. (Genesis 6:13-14, 17-18, & 22) Make yourself an Ark! In Noah s day, the single most important thing that he would do with his life, was to build an Ark for himself, exactly as God had instructed him to do. Nothing in life was more important! Of all human beings alive on the planet Earth in Noah s day, only one had the ears to hear what saith Almighty God. One. Noah. Known as a preacher of righteousness, Noah walked with God and dared to believe the Word of God; and do according to His word. Noah believed God, and was spared from God s judgment of destruction. Noah s obedience also resulted in his wife, their children, and their wives being saved from death. All because God said, Make yourself an Ark, and he did. Believing God, and doing as He says, will always bless you, as well as those He has given you. Never was the principle of obeying Father more dramatic than in the case of Noah. I believe there is a message for us in Genesis chapters six through nine. Not a history lesson but rather a clear warning of impending destruction in the form of His judgment. As well as detailed instructions that must be followed, if we are to survive. Now before you decide that I have lost my mind, and throw this letter aside, please hear me out. If what I am about to share with you is true and you can receive it, there will be a blessing in it for you that money cannot buy.

2 I begin by reminding you that our God is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He never changes (Malachi 3:6, Numbers 23:19 and James 1:17). Father always responds to man s behavior in the same way. When man is obedient, Father blesses him. When disobedient, He withholds His blessing or worse, sends a curse (Malachi 2:2). Because He is so long-suffering (Romans 2:4) He never acts hastily in sending His destructive judgment. In fact, He is known to remain silent in the face of our rebellion against His Word for so long, that we begin to believe that He is just like us. Oh, how foolish are those who choose to turn a deaf ear to Father s Word. Theses things you have done, and I have kept silent; you thought that I was altogether like you; But I will rebuke you, and set them in order before your eyes. Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver: Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; And to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God. (Psalm 50:21-23) Do not be deceived, man s current rebellion against God s Word is not going un-noticed by Him. Nor is it being excused. And never forget, when His judgment comes, it always falls first on His people on the House of the Lord the Church (1Peter 4:7-18). I would remind you further, that The natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. (1 Corinthians 2:14-15) Measure what you read here by the full counsel of Father s word. Meditate long upon it. Ask Father to grant you whatever measure of Truth is contained in the message; and to protect you from all deception. As always, when considering our God s relationship with His people, it is worth noting that He is no respecter of persons. He does not show favoritism (Acts 10:34, Romans 2:11). In addition to not showing partiality, He always does exactly what He said He would do. For God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? (Numbers 23:19) Woe, to those who, as an act of their own free will, choose to turn a deaf ear to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Failure, by Choice, to heed the word of God has never served man well. Never! From our very beginning, we have struggled with the Word of God. We just do not seem to be able to believe that God s Word (written or spoken) is pure Truth. Indeed, we are in rebellion against God s Word. Either in part or total. We believe in God and in His Son, but we do not believe Him. This is a common trait among God s people, and has been from the time of Adam. Today we are no different than in the days of Noah. Considering the fact that they did not have the written Word of God, and we do, I would suggest that we are much worse than they were. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required. (Luke 12:48b) Finally, as I pen these words, I am reminded that not everyone who professes a belief in Christ and call Him Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 7:21). I am also aware that according to Matthew 13:14-15, most professors have not the spiritual ears to hear what saith 2

3 the Word of God. When all is said and done, Christ declared in Matthew 22:14, that Many are called, but few are chosen. It is to the few that I write. Father s Word to Noah was very simple, and when heard, very easy to understand. Make yourself an Ark. His Word to Noah was very personal. Make yourself an Ark. Today, Father s word to us is simple and easily understood. It is also very personal. Father s love for His own sons and daughters (Acts 17:28) is so much a part of Him that He does not want even one of us to be caught up in His destructive judgment. As our Father, He longs that we be found in His Ark of safety; when at last there is no other place to escape His anger and wrath (2 Thess. 1:7-8, Isaiah 63:1-4, Rev. 14:19-20 and 19:13-16). The Ark of whom I speak is far more than mere words spoken or written. The Ark of whom I speak is far more than a religious platitude, so easily spoken thru unclean lips, among a people of unclean lips (Isaiah 6:5). The Ark of whom I speak, has no relationship to the modern-day Lacdicean church (Rev. 3:14-17). Indeed, the Ark of whom I speak, is not an ark of religion nor an ark of the church as we know it. The Ark of whom I speak is holy, other-worldly, and all together heavenly. The Ark of God is Christ alone. Those of us who have been raised in the Christian faith, have heard the story of Noah s Ark from our childhood. Personally, while I have read the Biblical account of the Great flood many times over the years, I had never given it more than mere superficial thought. By faith, I believed my Father s word concerning the flood, Noah and the Ark. However, it was no more to me than a history lesson, with little or no relevance to the present day. That is until one morning, while in the middle of a physical work-out, I heard loudly, in my spirit Build an Ark. That was several weeks ago, and ever since that morning, I have been applying myself to Father s word Make yourself an Ark. Indeed, the Word of God is alive (Hebrews 4:12); crying out in this late hour to all who have ears to hear. The warning is clear precise and easily understood. The hour is late. The sun will soon set. Storm clouds are gathering, and spiritual darkness will soon wrap the globe like a heavy wool blanket. I counsel all who read my words, what you are about to hear is critical to your spiritual and physical well-being. Upon careful examination of man s secular history, along with his Biblical history, I have discovered an undeniable fact. Man rises (increases in knowledge, social graces, technical advancement and spiritual growth) and falls (reverting back to his fallen nature and basic animalistic instincts) in 500 +/- year cycles. At present, we are near bottom of one of those cycles. As God s people slowly, over many generations, turn away from His word, they fall from His favor, suffering much personal and corporate loss (Leviticus 26). They take on more and more religious form and eventually lose all power (2Timothy 3:1-7, Daniel 12:1-10, & Psalm 50:16-17). As God s people go (in relation to His word) so go the nations. Our present state of moral and spiritual insolvency with-in society is the fruit of God s people having walked contrary to God, as He expresses Himself through His Word (Galatians 6:7-8 & Daniel 9:4-11). 3

4 If God s word be true, it is only a matter of time before He once again shakes both heaven and earth (Hebrews 12:25-29) and sets all things in order before our eyes (Psalm 50:21). Indeed, judgment has begun, as God has removed His wall of protection from around the latter-day church (Isaiah 5:1-7). Allowing the destruction described in Leviticus chapter twenty-six and Deuteronomy chapter twenty-eight, to run rampant through out our ranks. Believe what you will, but never forget dear reader, that our God has clearly warned us of what happens when we reject His word in favor of man s religion or the dictates of our own hearts. Now, hear the word of God: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. (Hosea 4:6) Father spoke to Noah. He told Noah what He was going to do. He told Noah why He was going to do it. Then He told Noah exactly what he must do to escape the destruction that was certain to come. God s word to Noah was clear, precise and easily understood. His word was not debatable nor open to change. If followed, Noah would be numbered among the few, chosen by God, to find life and safety, not only for himself, but also for those who Father had given him (John 17:6-10). If Noah chose to reject God s word, add to It or take from It, Noah and his family would have been numbered among the many who were called but not chosen. Thank God for the grace to hear and to do as He says (Philippians 2:12-13). But as the Days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the Ark, and did not know until the flood (destructive judgment) came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. (Matthew 24:37-39) Today, just as in Noah s day, Father has told us what He intends to do, as it relates to those who choose to turn away from His word. He has told us why. And He has told us exactly what to do, if we would be spared from the destruction that follows His judgment. We have His word on it. Sealed with His blood. And, He has given His own, His Spirit to lead and guide us into His Ark (John 16:13-15). Today, as in the days of Noah, many are being called, as messages such as this one are being delivered to those who profess a belief in Christ. Sadly, just as in the days of Noah, the word of warning falls on deaf ears, except for the few. For most of us, The prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive, For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them. (Matthew 13:14-15) In Matthew chapter twenty-two, our King spoke to the people a parable concerning the Kingdom of heaven. As He drew His parable to a close, He declared that, Many are called, but few are chosen. In the days of Noah, many were called, and only a few chosen. In our day, many are being called, and just like Noah s day, only a few will be chosen. We are living one of the great mysteries of God; as in that which has been is what will be, That which is done is what 4

5 will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun. Is there anything of which it may be said, See this is new? It has already been in ancient times before us. (Ecclesiastes 1:9-10) Only the chosen entered into the Ark of Noah s day and only the chosen will enter into God s Ark of our day. Only those chosen by God. Pray that you be found worthy to be numbered among the chosen. Pray for the grace to hear Father s word. Pray for the grace to do as He says. Start by choosing to be in agreement with the Word of God from Genesis 1:1 thru Revelation 22:21. Make yourself an Ark and begin by making a covenant with Him concerning His own word. The Words of the Lord are pure words, like silver tried in a furnace of earth, Purified seven times. You shall keep them O Lord, You shall preserve them from this generation forever. (Psalm 12:6-7) In Part Two of this message, I will share the similarities between God s Ark of Noah s day and His Ark of our day. Until then, I encourage you to separate your heart from the world, including man s religion and make God s Ark your highest priority. I can assure you, that your safety and that of those given to you by Father, depends on it.
