1 The Coming of the Son! By: Richard Crisco Mt 24:3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said, "when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?" 4 Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. This past Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, there were public schools that were closed because of the foolishness that arose through social media concerning the End of the World according to the Mayan Calendar. Since some students believed that it was the last day of their life, they threatened to go on a shooting rage at their schools! As I was driving to church for early morning prayer, my heart was grieved by the ignorance of man and the cruelty of satan. Satan always counterfeits what God does or is going to do in an attempt to discredit God and His Promises. Remember, Moses and Pharaoh s Magicians? Exo 7:10 So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and did just as the LORD commanded. Aaron threw his staff down in front of Pharaoh and his officials, and it became a snake. 11 Pharaoh then summoned wise men and sorcerers, and the Egyptian magicians also did the same things by their secret arts: 12 Each one threw down his staff and it became a snake. But Aaron's staff swallowed up their staffs. Exo 7:20 Moses and Aaron did just as the LORD had commanded. He raised his staff in the presence of Pharaoh and his officials and struck the water of the Nile, and all the water was changed into blood. 21 The fish in the Nile died, and the river smelled so bad that the Egyptians could not drink its water. Blood was everywhere in Egypt. 22 But the Egyptian magicians did the same things by their secret arts, and Pharaoh's heart became hard; he would not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the LORD had said. Exo 8:5 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Tell Aaron, 'Stretch out your hand with your staff over the streams and canals and ponds, and make frogs come up on the land of Egypt.'" 6 So Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs came up and covered the land. 7 But the magicians did the same things by their secret arts; they also made frogs come up on the land of Egypt. Exo 8:16 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Tell Aaron, 'Stretch out your staff and strike the dust of the ground,' and throughout the land of Egypt the dust will become gnats." 17 They did this, and when Aaron stretched out his hand with the staff and struck the dust of the ground, gnats came upon men and animals. All the dust throughout the land of Egypt became gnats. 18 But when the magicians tried to produce gnats by their secret arts, they could not. And the gnats were on men and animals. 19 The magicians said to Pharaoh, "This is the finger of God." But Pharaoh's heart was hard and he would not listen, just as the LORD had said.

2 In most cases, Before the Fulfillment of a God given dream or promise, satan will offer a counterfeit to try and derail man from God s perfect plan. Examples: Before Revival (Laughing Service.) Before Brownsville (DYD position) A counterfeit must appear like the original in order to be accepted. Most people, including God s Saints, are only Familiar with God s Presence and His Word. They have not placed enough value on God to become a student of His Presence or His Word Thus they quickly embrace a COUNTERFEIT and are destroyed for lack of knowledge. KJV - 2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2Ti 2:15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 16 Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. 17 Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, 18 who have wandered away from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some. 19 Nevertheless, God's solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: "The Lord knows those who are his," and, "Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness." Because many do not have a solid foundation that is built upon the One and Only Sure Foundation (Jesus Christ) They are falling for anything and everything! It breaks my heart to see multitudes falling prey to FEAR and CHAOS that spreads like cancer in an environment of ignorance and lies!!!! However, Jesus warned us that it would be like this in the last days, Lk 21:26 "men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken. 27 "Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 2 "Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near." Mt 24:5 For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

3 Satan understands that if you CRY WOLF enough then people will stop listening to that Particular Cry! (Since 1985 {ON INTERNET} Over 60 different Predictions Some by well known Christian Leaders) He has been successful (on several occasions) to have the Predictions of the end of the World broadcasted and Proclaimed upon the airwaves and now social media on the internet THUS DULLING the hearing of this generation to the GENINE and TRUE PROMISE of His SOON RETURNING!!!!! 2Pe 3:1 Dear friends, this is now my second letter to you. I have written both of them as reminders to stimulate you to wholesome thinking. 2 I want you to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the command given by our Lord and Savior through your apostles. 3 First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. 4 They will say, "Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation." 5 But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water. 6 By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. 7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. 8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. 11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. 13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness. 14 So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. 15 Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. 16 He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. 17 Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position. 18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

4 Satan knows he is powerless to stop God from fulfilling His Promises and Plans Therefore he counterfeits God s Promise and Plans to give people a false hope and expectation. Then, when their hopes are shattered, their faith is destroyed! One cannot afford to build their faith upon partial truth! 99% Truth is still a falsehood! In Many Cases, 99% is just not good enough! In Court, When people s future and lives are in jeopardy, the Bailiff used to swear in the witnesses by asking them to Raise your right hand, place your left on the Bible. Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help you God?" Now: "Do you solemnly swear that the testimony you are about to give is the whole truth, without omission?" Often said, Beware of Half-Truths, you may get the wrong Half! The Heart was created to Believe. But Hope Deferred makes the heart sick (Prov. 13:12); Thus losing its ability to believe. When we allow our hearts to believe on anything that is not fully true we will be let down and lose some of our God-given ability to believe and have faith. Ill: A couple gets married with full faith and trust in their spouse. However, with time, their spouse will let them down because they are human. Thus one can easily lose faith in their spouse IF they do not live in a state of forgiveness and love that chooses to cover a multitude of sins. Ill: Many are disillusioned with the Church today because they have idealistic ideas of the Church not taking into account that the Church is made up of People and even Redeemed People are flawed, messing up the ideal image of Church! As a result, many come to false conclusions about the Church, lose their ability to Mt 24:30 "At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. Mt 24:32 "Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you

5 know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. 34 I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. Mt 24:36 "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. 42 "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
