MOST SCHOLARS AGREE THAT THIS BOOK WAS WRITTEN BY EZRA, A PRIEST WHO LED THE ISRAELITES BACK TO JUDAH FROM EXILE IN BABYLON. THIS BOOK WAS WRITTEN AS THE ISRAELITES WERE TRYING TO REBUILD THEIR LAND, HOMES, TEMPLE & NATION. 1.
